We’ve been for Sunday lunch so many times ( that should tell you how good it is) 🤷‍♀️ Steve and his fabulous friendly staff make everyone feel so welcome and more like friends visiting than customers I would highly recommend it for Sunday lunch Evening meals are also of a high standard with plenty of variety Don’t pass this pub Pay them a visit You won’t regret it

Wonderful selection of cakes and the best brownie I have had! Great service from friendly staff too. Highly reccomended

The pizza was good but we had to wait a long time. The hoodies and apparel are amazing and super long lasting.

Lovely room with sea views . Staff very friendly. Breakfast and evening meals good . Only one negative . We asked for a toilet brush in the bathroom as don't like leaving someone else to have to do it and was told that Matstins don't allow them in their bathrooms . Very odd . Otherwise couldn't fault our stay

2hrs to get here for a long weekend I couldn't wait to come here again lol.. Faggots omg the best plus coffee etc, fish finger sandwich X4 meals my wife says is amazing see u soon ❤️

We hadn’t been since the new owners took over - HUGELY improved! We only had ice creams but they were very reasonably priced and very tasty. Really friendly service too, will be our go to for ice creams in New Quay now!

We have enjoyed many meals of fish and chips here over the years. We were in lunchtime today, fish and chips of superb quality. The one complaint I have was the number of dogs in the restaurant, when mentioning this to a member of staff she very curtly informed me that it is a dog friendly restaurant and the tables are wiped in between customers. This I don’t doubt, but a dog lying quietly under the table is one thing but sitting on the customers lap with their heads on the table is another, also a dog drinking out of a water bowl on the table is not acceptable.

Disappointed in the quality of the food. Lasagne was lacking in flavour, chips were pretty burnt. A year ago we had a lovely meal at this venue. I wonder what happened.

Absolutely amazing restaurant. Food was amazing and looked just as good, the staff were so nice and greeted us with smiles. I highly recommend the cheese burger as it was absolutely amazing and you can also get great vegetarian options. The views of the sea were amazing and the place was very clean xxx

The older lady serving was really,really, rude and unpleasant. It has put me off going there again. Young girl was very nice.

Absolutely mental prices for awful quality. Would be the second time iv been here. First time wasn't great but thought I'd give another go. Had the same "card machine broken, cash only" on the till forever.. wonder why that is. Food was gross. Won't be coming back. Also shocking food hygiene rating

The restaurant was terribly dirty. Cob webs were all over and toilets were in a terrible condition. The sharer we ordered came with two items of food missing. There was one waitress that was very friendly and tried to help find the missing food. The bar staff are abrasive and did not appear at all interested in serving. The tables are filthy and there doesn't seem to be any hygiene standards.
