The best restaurants in Ceredigion Mid Wales

Usually, this dominoes is just standard and alright. But tonight, they ran out of vegan pepparoni, which is fine but the order shouldn’t have been available for me to order in the first place. Without asking me first, they substituted the entire pizza for a veggie supreme. They asked me if this was okay when they called me, which I had to decline as I have a medical issue that prevents me from eating peppers, corn and other toppings on the pizza - it’s not an allergy, but it causes vomiting. When we resolved the situation, all was okay, besides when I got home I realised the pizza had almost no sauce on it and still had pieces of tomato and corn which I had to pick out. It’s incredibly disappointing and I would’ve asked for an immediate refund if I wasn’t using a voucher.

A nice welcoming bar, sports on big screens, lots of tables inside and outside, nice beers, helpful staff 👍

Had king po chicken, Cantonese house special chow mein, egg fried rice and vegetable spring rolls Can't fault food, very tasty, lots of meat and good sized portions.

I love the starling cloud because the staff is fangtastic,the room are big and the food is fangtastic and lovely that is makes you full so I would love to come there anytime

Most time when ordering on justeat it was taking 2 hours before they even start to prepare food! Very slow and often forgot to give you everything you ordered... Disappointing

Got a take away was really nice

Booked a table for 7:15, sat down at 7:45, without a lot of people in the restaurant. It was explained to us that he was waiting for a table by the window. When sat, a number of items weren’t on the menu as it was the 2nd week of a half term! Half terms come around every year so some pre planning should have been organised? Ordered food and was told a further 2 weren’t available! Food arrived, this seemed good and tasty until a small fly was found in one of the meals. Very apologetic manager but that didn’t take away that it was there and found. At the end of the evening we were provided with an appropriate response to the meals and experience we were given. A real disappointment.

We called in yesterday after taking the dogs for a run on Tresaith beach. The pleasant chap behind the bar told us the kitchen was about to close. We quickly ordered the steak sandwich and weren’t disappointed. It was succulent rump steak on thick crusty bread with a generous portion of chips. All staff really friendly and welcoming. Definitely worth a visit.

Great hotel with a very easy check-in. Wonderful staff who were so helpful. Great views of the bay and parking was easy. The food was plentiful and tasty, with a good menu. The rooms were spotless and breakfast was amazing. I also went back for lunch. I recommend this hotel and thanks to all the wonderful staff

Came for lunch, I ordered a chilli jacket potato- the chilli was dry, no sauce, very small amount of chilli for the £7.40 I paid- I was very disappointed! I didn't feel comfortable complaining as I didn't want to cause a fuss; a lot of the servers seemed quite stressed and a little inexperienced. (No offence intended, they all seemed lovely) My friend ordered bacon cheese burger, she received the wrong order but the waitress was very apologetic and sorted it right away.

The restaurant was empty but the place was mess. The floors and tables. Even behind the counter looked like it needed a good wipe down. The service was no existent. The person on shift seemed like she didn't want to be there. Very sharp response. Couldn't eat the sandwich the bread was chewy when i took a bite the whole bread just ripped and made a mess of the food and the thing had more sauce that fulling so made it a mushy saucy mess that didn't taste nice. Zero stars!

We enjoyed our meal at the Shilam very much. It was our second visit and we will definitely return when we are next in the area. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the Aberystwyth area. The food is fresh, beautifully cooked and very reasonably priced.

What a brilliant cafe in a great location. Much better quality building and food then I expected to find. Views and walk are also great.
