The best restaurants in Ceredigion Mid Wales

Absolutely shocking service. The attitude on the person who has just served us was appalling !!!!! I don’t think she’d appreciate being treated in the same way. Practically threw the food at us and that wasn’t before stalling everything on the counter. Clearly everything was an issue. Sadly she didn’t wear a name badge but looking at previous complaints the manager has the same bad attitude so I’m guessing it was her. I have written a complaint to their head office and I hope she is reprimanded. In such a pandemic she is lucky to still be in employment. I won’t be calling again.

Only had drinks here, very good beer and service in a very nice pub.

Ordered takeaway. Told us would be 30 mins 1 hour 11mins later and I’m still waiting. Awful customer service all they had to say “if receipt isn’t in our kitchen it must of left” “yes the food left half an hour ago” Awful. DO NOT RECOMMEND

Young bloke server, extremely rude, unhelpful and very smug. Couldn’t believe how rude a member of staff could be, just wanted to order food. Ended up having to get the manager who was then extremely helpful.

Really good proper fish and chips. The owner/server was really nice as well. This is the place to go!

Had a lovely pub lunch here, staff really friendly and helpful, would recommend to anyone that wants a cheap lunch with a great selection of drinks. Mangers lovely on both sides

A great dog friendly pub that offers good food and massive portions. Friendly staff and a real happy local pub that is pleasantly busy but not rowdy or unwelcoming... Ideally located near to the castle and other tourist attractions.

Stayed here for 3 nights, very comfortable and friendly staff. The evening menu is very good and the food is outstanding. The quality is amazing and portions are generous. This should be award winning food. Try it out! You won’t be disappointed.

Puzzlingly empty place that seemed to have a confused identity as a combined cafe/bar/restaurant. The food was actually very good; one of the best starters I've had in ages (Japanese tempura veg), and served promptly. Being a bar, it had my favourite drink, Crabbies, which you hardly ever find in restaurants, so that was a bonus. However the bored waitress seemed to think having no customers meant turning the radio up to 11 (some kind of horrific Saturday night jungle/drum n bass banging and shouting noise), which wasn't my idea of dining background music. With a bit of staff training and a marketing revamp, I'm sure the good food could bring some repeat business.

I had the Mediterranean Tart, except they'd run out so it was replaced with two tasteless veggie sausages. The vegetables were horribly overcooked to the point of mush. The gravy was copious but flavorless. Terrible meal.

They charged me 80p for hot water, I understand 40p for a disposable cup but 40p for hot water???

Went in yesterday night after picking my partner up from the trainstation. The people working then were so incredibly lovely and super chatty. Our order came out super quickly and the food was all hot and fresh! Definitely one of the better take away places to dine at in Aber!

Second time returning and blown away !! Stunning seaside views; friendly staff; and AMAZING food. This is a new family favourite spot and we are so grateful to the staff for this great experience. We received fast service both times . Everything was perfect from the mozzarella and chicken bites to the burgers and dessert. Best burgers I have had !
