KFC Aberystwyth - Terrace Row in Ceredigion

Went in yesterday night after picking my partner up from the trainstation. The people working then were so incredibly lovely and super chatty. Our order came out super quickly and the food was all hot and fresh! Definitely one of the better take away places to dine at in Aber!

The people working here are super sweet and helpful and the food is honestly the best fast food in town!

This place is an absolute joke no rice boxes beans coleslaw mash due to not having forks and no ketchups available staff were very helpful and apologetic obviously not their fault I will not be returning and would advise other people to give a wide berth just go the another mile down the road to the other restaurant and drive through

Have had better, have had worse. Food was not hot but still warm at least. Waiting time was quite lengthy and there was hardly any other customers waiting.

Go here most lunchtimes at work, the food is always quick and the staff are extremely professional and friendly especially Louise she is always happy to help. Would highly recommend

I went in on a sunny day and was feeling very peckish so i ordered at the counter and was served by louise she was very lovely and welcoming and got my order done very quick .

Typical KFC in town centre. Much better than McDonald's but still last resort.

Restaurant was absolutely filthy. From the dining area to the restrooms. Gross Food: tasted old and re-warmed. The frys were rubbish. Soggy, very greasy and not something worth even a pence. The service was fast. But, I'm sure that's only due to the food being old and prepped hours before; the staff seemed so unhappy to work there, no pride. Which showed as you looked around to see the lack of cleanliness. DO NOT EAT HERE. This location needs to go under new management and get some deep, deep cleaning done before opening their doors.

Stopped on our way down to south wales yesterday. Food was quick and delicious and Nat was very helpful. Much better than when we've visited previously!

I had a boneless meal and Nat took care of all my needs. Very polite workers and didn’t feel like I was a nuisance at all. Wait times have gone down considerably and was really good !

Ordering through just eat, KFC just keep pushing back the delivery time, always happens with KFC

Those were supposed to be 450kcal medium portions of rice, also the chicken was dry and not seasoned, and all of this for a ridiculously high price. This is a scam.

I don't even prefer to give at least 1 star. Such a worst service.they don't des any table service even if their is no rush in shop and also the behavior was so bad. They where too rude. And did even listen to the orders

it was super yummy!! the staff are always very friendly and welcoming, and the food is divine- popcorn chicken was hot and fresh and so tasty, chicken mini fillet was crispy and soooo juicy. my only problem is that i didn't order more, lol. hope everyone at kfc is having a great day, you guys are the real backbone of this country 🫡🫡

I always get a fries and hot wings to takeaway after my shifts and I'm usually always served by Blessing. She's always so lovely and greets me with a smile, although four stars on the food because the fries are a hit or miss with seasoning. Nonetheless, I always looked forward to being greeted by Blessing.

Staff where friendly and informative. Food was ready even before I finished ordering. Highly satisfied.

It was busy and I wanted to pay by cash. Staff member named sophie ( i think) informed me that you can order on the kiosk and pay by cash at the till. I did this, it was very straight forward got exactly what I wanted and it was tasty

Incredible but true, a big company such as KFC and can’t accept a 50£ note. Does not mention anywhere in the place that they do not accept 50£ note. In Europe exists 500€ notes which is like 440£ and most places can accept to 200€ notes, some even 500.

Most time when ordering on justeat it was taking 2 hours before they even start to prepare food! Very slow and often forgot to give you everything you ordered... Disappointing

It was a good little cosy KFC and was relatively quiet to dine in. Zingy burger was zinging too.

Well all I can say is all tables are free to sit down at but not one of them are cleaned..absolutely disgusting and the floor was horrendous..This place needs better staff to actually keep on top of things 🤦‍♂️ food was ok but sitting in the place was not making me enjoy my food

Food was absolutely amazing and omg the spicy chicken wings are actually spicey was so happy about that as they are lush. The service was friendly and super helpful too. Definitely would go back and definitely recommend this KFC.

Avoid! Drastically understaffed during peak tourist time. Take order took 25 minutes! Too hot as no Air con. The floor and tables, toilets etc were dirty and disgusting!

Can never get it right this place. Ordered large on all my meals and everything was a regular. Don't understand how it's so hard.

Me and my son got sick after eating here today. We ate nothing else. Just a KFC that we shared about 1:30pm - Both sick by 7pm. Put me off KFC for life.

The staff were helpful and friendly. Especially as I had my child with me and there was a very rude person. They dealt really well with it and apologised to us, even though it was not their fault!

The best experience of my life. I became a father last week, but this was an out of body experience that has to be seen and tasted to be believed. I will step up to this place again, unlike stepping up to being a father. This is my future.

Just picked up an order. The portion size of original chicken provided are very small, do not justify the price. When the issue was raised, the customer service didn’t help, instead arguing why didn’t you specify what type of chicken. But you cannot do so at the kiosk. So place your order in person at the front. Even then do not expect good portion size or customer service.

The floor was very greasy and made you feel as though you felt as though you could slip over at any time.

Wow. I’m not one to usually leave reviews but this place was awful. I went in after a long drive and I wish I had just got a pot noodle from the services. I ordered a gravy mega box and this is what came. - A cremated piece of chicken - a mini-filet that looked both mutilated and mauled - 2 hot wings that ironically was cold to the touch - 2 tubs of mash instead of fries - and gravy which was the star attraction in this meal. I know I came in towards the end of the night but if this is the dross they are putting out they should consider closing earlier. Very, very poor.

OK, my mistake KFC has obviously gone downhill since I was last in one. It was shabby, dirty, and the coatings on the chips is dire just like the coating on the chicken.

Service in this place couldn’t be any slower if they tried, Went in at 21:50 - still standing around like a lemon at 22:00 whilst being first in queue It wasn’t busy, maybe 5-6 people in the place at the most. Decided to eat elsewhere, Maybe hire more staff UPDATE: May 2024 Went back here for a quick family meal, food was revolting and I ended up binning most of it.

Yummm! Great for it being KFC. I would mention that some of the staff can be really slow. Once we were the only people in and they were meandering about to make our food when we had a train to catch... However good atmosphere, hygienic toilets and the chicken is crispyyyy 🍗🐔

Staff will wait 20mins to take orders only to say that they're out of stock in pretty much everything. This has happened multiple times now

Rude worker at the till, he was tapping the till and making remarks about us to his coworkers. The worker who were giving us the food were really kind, though.

It's a fast (junk) food place. Why would you go there?

As always (in every kfc) did not add hash brown and cheese to my twister wrap. And forgot my popcorn chicken. Not good kfc.

This venue is cramped and poorly laid out, even after recent refurbishment. Service is slow, and the staff are dismissive. The app hardly works, and now one of the ordering touchscreens is broken, so when we went to the counter to order we got ignored. As in, two people looked us right in the eye and then turned their backs as they continued dithering their way through the backlog of orders. I understood they were busy, but the complete absence of acknowledgement was just rude. We will not be coming back. Local regulars lost.

Fast service and friendly staff

Today my experience at KFC Aberystwyth has been terrible I’ve been a regular consumer of this fast food franchise but today I don’t think ill be a returning customer, in general the food is overpriced for what you actually get For instance today I decided to get a chicken burger box meal costing £10 the burger wasn’t even made properly with salads and sauces missing from it further more the burger itself wasn’t even in side the bun ! It look like it was all chucked inside the box and thrown around the kitchen before it got to me. Now don’t even get me started the chip portion is ridiculous not even a hand full of chips the gravy that comes with the box meal barely even gets used as there isn’t enough chips to go with it better yet it would be helpful if the cooks can remember to put the chicken that also comes with the box meal in as it seems to be a common theme to forget to put stuff in The staff Considering it takes about 20 minutes for your food to come you would think they would get your order correct first time it’s not as if it’s a busy franchise every time I’ve been there it’s been quiet I’m not surprised as the hygiene in there is terrible the tables are always dirty covered in sauces chicken, chicken bones and used cutlery and that’s throughout the whole restaurant it seems to stay like that all day I’ve yet to see any staff come out and clean the tables for a custom to eat there food on

Staff freindly food was great, chicken was a bit greasy, but still tasty, Has had a new floor that was not slippy.

The restaurant is extremely dirty and littered with rubbish. The floors are especially greasy. The food was burnt and the chicken stringy. To be honest, I think I would rather pull my own eyes out with a hot spoon than eat here again....

Super dit was voor ons de 3e keer eerste 2 keer geen succes. Deze smaakte goed leker vers en goed heet. Alleen kunnen de afruimplek en de tafels en toilel wat beter schoongemaakt worden

Customer service wasn't the best I ordered a wicked zinger tower box meal which comes with hot wings & a side I purchased extra two hot wings also a bbq wrap & one portion of the bbq bites when I was given my food it was missing my side gravy also the 2 hotwings instead of 4 I had 2 also they gave me 2 sets of bbq bites & charged I brought this up to the guy behind the counter who said I never asked for a box meal & my hot wings were there we had say 20 30 seconds telling him what I asked for & what I was given was wrong he was so rude he sighed complaining that he will have to refund the full meal so I said yes that's fine he walked off & went & got a other member of staff which I had to explain this all again he then refunded me for the extra bites but wouldn't give my my side of gravy & 2 wings which at this point I was loosing my rag so I said look just give my 2 wings a tub of gravy & il be out of your hair which he finally did at this point my food was cold so yeah really enjoyed it won't be going again waste of £15 or so date was 26,05,23 after 6pm ish

Awful take away boxed “meal”. Portion sizes terrible for £10 plus vat, then £1.20 plus vat for one biscuit…it was not good, and I eat out on the road a lot…

Shocking service, cold, mega long unnecessary wait because they were too unorganized. Wanted to serve me cold food whilst I waited for the rest of my order and basically said I had wasted food because I wanted it all together...warm! Absolutely hideous. Bland food, did not supply salt, straws tissues etc after I waited 24 mins in a non busy place. No wonder it wasn't busy! Get some new staff Aberystwyth. They used manky cloths from a bucket to clean trays then went straight to package people's food I was cringing.

Great lunch, was delayed by 5 mins but proactively offered free drinks by friendly staff & great food. Excellent service.

What can I say. KFC in a real Welsh town. Life does not get better than this. It was great to be served by a person with all their tatoos (from what I could see) spelled correctly.

Supposed to be fast food not serve when we feel like it. Geeza stood there with my order waiting for 10 minutes before he gave it to me. Spent half the time chatting to each other. Not okie dokie.

Very disappointing have been there many times before lockdown and enjoyed food but this time it did not come up to past standard taste was totally different nowhere as good as previous has there been a change to the coating?

Very busy kfc, would definitely benefit from quicker staff or another kfc somewhere around Aberystwyth, they definitely need to employ another cleaner because the visits to the restaurant recently have all been the same, the floors are greasy and slippy, seats and tables are full of rubbish and food waste so not a lot of people want to sit down, every bin was overflowing, overall the food is good but the cleanliness of the place was disgusting, this was over a long weekend so it’s not just a one day problem.
