What's the point in being open until 9 if you're not going to serve food until nine!? You can clean everything down once the ships closed...isn't that kinda the point of being open? To serve people food?

I came here with my family after a dance competition and the food was lovely. No complaints about the food. However, the lady staff member working was very unenthusiastic and extremely rude as when we said thank you as we left she completely ignored us. Not happy. Atmosphere within the store between staff was uneasy. Staff need to work on customer service and basic manners.

I ordered a 6 inch notorious bmt for me and a 6 inch tuna for my daughter. She asked if I wanted the veggies on there and I said yes, thinking I could add pickles and jalapeños. I had both toasted. During toasting I paid and when she did my sandwich I asked for the pickles and jalapeños and she said no. I couldn't switch out my veggies. She had put them on already, and I'm looking and thinking, take some off. She said she could put on daughters tuna. I asked if she could put them on the side. She said no. I asked if I could buy a side, because the sandwich as is was not appealing. She said no. I will NOT be going back to Subway. The tomatoes were mushy and the mayo tasted old. Go elsewhere!

Ordered a plain Meatball Mariana through Deliveroo from this particular outlet. Got a chicken, mayo, lettuce, tomato sliced and onion sub. Not a single meatball. I cannot eat onion as it makes me sick. Completely wrong, not even close to what I ordered. How can staff not make a simple 6 inch subway? Never order from here

At the start said can I get this deal? They said yeah and I chose the sub I wanted. I pick the other items that are part of the deal and they say I have to pay extra. I ask why they say the sub isn’t in the deal and I have to choose a different sub, when they said at the start I could choose any sub I wanted. Not only that the sub cost more than the deal. Improve the customer service or you will definitely loose customers. You have certainly lost one.

Went for a second time in the evening, this Spring of '24. I'm a student and have been really bogged down with exams recently, so went to create sandwich. Walked in, said hello to one staff member, (not to a Server) didn't get a hello back. But I will say, the Serving staff are really nice, and super patient and help with specific queries you have! Lucky we are:). However, I was asked to 'go outside [the shop]' in the cold whilst I briefly loaded a QR code on my phone, despite no other customers being in or around the shop (in clear view) at all and was nearly done with my purchase. I also I asked for three sauces probably 3 times and looked down at my phone for a bit during the making-process. Was asked at the end, for my Sub, if 'that was all [fillings]', and I blindly said yes because I couldn't like see or differentiate sauces lol. Come home to eat, then it hits; i'm like missing sauces, nooo xD. Anyway what I learnt from the experience is to not be afraid to face people, and don't doubt yourself, no matter how we feel. It's something that anyone can forever learn any day and something I'm learning too! I just had a hashtag, stakeholdertheory~ flashback, ahah P.s, this is not an admonishing- just an expression of both thanks, and like, "b)other"~. Lol.

I didn't receive one of the items that I ordered.

Never received my order, never ordering from subway again rang up the company they said it’s nothing to do with them

chicken was so cold i was concerned it was still frozen at first, asked specifically if I wanted the default salad on the series option I chose and then didn't add the sweetcorn I asked to be added. My boyfriend ordered the tex mexan series sub and they added (barely any) chicken and cheese and at the meat stage, completely missed out the doritos despite that being a core feature of the sandwich (i think it's a collaboration?). Have had good experiences here too but that was awful. I've been served solid frozen chicken before at another subway chain so didn't eat the sandwich because I don't trust the meat is safe to any of the temperature regulations they are supposed to follow, just be prepared to stand up for yourself here if you see them not adding a key part of one of the set menu sandwiches I guess?

Nipped in here for lunch one weekend - good sandwich, fresh salad bar and friendly staff as I've come to expect from Subways. It's a lot bigger (and nicer) than it looks from the outside, there's plenty of seating indoors and it's kept clean and tidy. The usual Subway menu is available. It's right next door to a Nisa so there's other options if you don't fancy what's in the cookie/donut counter or the drinks fridge but price-wise it's comparable. It's within walking distance of the student village at the top of Penglais Hill, and there's a chippy across the road too - they might not be the cheapest but it's still convenient to have these nearby given the decent hike into town. Would recommend if you're stopping at Fferm Penglais or Pentre Jane Morgan and want a familiar takeout one afternoon!

The cookies tasted strange and were very dry.

Didn’t call, didn’t ring the door, was just left outside the flat building on the floor by the main building door- didn’t even realise it had been delivered!!!!

Food was terrible hash browns in the sandwich were uncooked possibly only just defrosted causing everything else in the sandwich to be cold. Aweful won’t be ordering again.

3 footlongs ordered. None of which was correct. Items missing or the wrong additional items in the wrong footlong. Obviously took no notice of the order

Nachos had barely any cheese and no jalepeños.

Food tasted ok, six inch sub served in a box, not enough salad but may have been due to double meat choice. Was cold even though it was toasted. Nachos had no cheese basically just crisps in a box with some salsa. Drink ok. Cookie fine. Delivery early.

The food was ice cold, the cheese on the nachos hadn’t even been melted, cold nachos with salsa and a tiny bit of cheese.

As good as you can ask from a subway. Staff very pleasant even when in the middle of several orders and show no overt judgement over my terrible order

I didn’t want it delivered early. I may not have been home yet. Try to keep to delivery times requested. Chips were cold and soggy and had to reheat them. Sandwich was fine. I’d not order a takeaway. You need to up your takeaway service drastically. People are paying a lot of money for their food.

Soggy. Cold. Sauces put had burst open as it had been dropped.

Ordered food from here the delivery drive rang to say he would be about 10 minutes, I said okay expecting a phone call to say that they were outside. However that never happened, waited half an hour and rang then to ask what happened. Delivery driver said it’s still classed as a delivery and that I won’t be able to get a refund and he had other orders to get back to. Absolutely poor service.

Chicken Tikka sandwich wasn't very tasty, also it wasn't cut in half

90 minute wait when were 8 mins away! 1 out of 3 meals wrong. Restaurant not willing to replace wrong order. Shocking customer service who thinks the answer is to put the phone down on you! Mistakes happen, so man up and fix the mistakes and do the right thing and not hide behind just eat

Driver was so coordinated and knew exactly where we were using the pin pointed location. I recommend him 100% and totally not SARCASTIC.

Every single subway I have ordered from Waunfawr has come without cheese. Every time, I ask for cheese and it *never* comes with cheese. I have added notes to the restaurant, they are ignored. I've sent subways back with the delivery driver (and they come back... without cheese again!). I have phoned up the store and asked them to put cheese on - they haven't and said they "wouldn't miss something like that". They are utterly, completely useless.

Missing both crisps and drink that were ordered

Forgot to include my side, drink or treat with the order, on return I was told they could not give me a side and was instead given 3 bags of crisps or random types

Asked for 'Foot Long' Teriyaki Chicken but discovered I had beed given BBQ Chicken on journey home...yuk, I hate BBQ sauce, it went straight in the bin.

Despite adding a note the restaurant completely ignore it!! Terrible meal, terrible service. DON’T BOTHER GO TO THE ONE IN THE TOWN THAT HAS GOOD SERVICE!

17 mins to get a 6 inch sub, a foot long sub, and 2 pepperoni slices. The guy behind the counter looked like he really didn't want to be there, it was all he could do to speak to me to take my order! He took that long the subsand the pepperoni slices we're cold. If they had been busy I could understand the wait however I was the only customer in the building the entire time my order was being taken and prepared! The member of staff also needs to learn about cross contamination, he used the same gloves for my entire order, he handled chicken, bacon, cheese, pepperoni he even got the marinara sauce on his gloves when transfering my pepperoni slices to a box and then with the same gloves put the salad on my sub!! Also I'm not sure when subway got so expensive, my order cost me £17.56 for 2 sandwiches and a 2 sides, if this is what subway have become, I won't be using them again!

My nachos had no cheese or sauce and were actually stale and inedible… my pizza had cheese on only one quarter of it and instead of the hearty Italian bread I asked for with my sandwich they gave me herb and cheese which didn’t go with the filling I had chosen and so also ruined my sandwich… the only part of my meal that was ok and actually edible was my cookie and my Gatorade… very disappointing…

food is good,but staff on the day were very rude,also the table we sat at had not been cleaned,there was bits of food and coffee on the table,I had to get some serviettes to clean the table,I have given three star's for the food,if i could i would give 0 for the staff,when i confronted the staff member,all he did was smirk at me,shame as the food was very good,we won't be back.

The only...strange thing....id say was the delivery guy not coming out of the car to deliver the food. It did make the interaction rather awkward, him reversing back up the street passing the stuff out the car window, all the while me leaning over trying to keep the door open.

This is the bbq chicken sub!!!!! I asked for with no salad they said this is the correct amount of chicken this subway so you basically pay £6.39 for a salad sub at this subway and when u ask for a 6ich they make you a foot long and when you say I didn't order that they shrug and charge you for it any way

Everything came in on time but I had ordered a drink with my food... Never had happened before but it was left out. I'm sure this is a rare occasion. Food fantastic as always.

I ordered an extra cheese and toasted sub but it wasn’t toasted which was a let down

Only problem was wedges box had become too wet with the steam from the food and has disintegrated, the wedges then became a soggy mess

best subway ever, if you’re willing to over look the dire, depressing exterior, and neighbouring cks. Nevertheless good sandwiches especially when you have to tell the staff how to make it because they don’t seem to know what they’re doing, either give them a pay rise or tell them to please get some sleep and shower.

First time visiting this subway! Would recommend to anyone! The sub was amazing. I’d like to give a thank you to Matthew for his service.

Garbage food. We ordered 4 sandwiches. We called the place at 15:41 to inquire about delivery time, we were promised the food would be delivered to us very quick otherwise it wouldn’t be later than 16:05 or so. We got a notification that the food was on its way 15:50. We waited and waited and called them a couple of more times, all these times we were getting told it’s coming and all. Food ended up arriving at 16:35 by which point it was stone cold and inedible. They also didn’t bother writing what’s what on the packaging, so the 4 of us couldn’t really tell which one our sandwich was. Horrible service, super late delivery; don’t prepare the food if you can’t deliver it in time as it’s a no brainier that it will get cold!!

They forgot to toast my bread so it tasted s bit naff, was a bit late and they also forget to bring my drinks.

Lovely staff great to see they are getting the local teenagers working there, the woman on the till was amazing their name was Matthew Jennings. Great burgers, I didn't see any trains though very disappointed.

They still served me 10 minutes before closing time.
