Went with my neighbour and her little dog This, place says it is dog friendly but one rude miserable member of staff (tall guy)told my friend that the dog is only alowed on the floor and not on her lap incase it had a wee on her lap. Dog more likely too wee when on the floor. And dog is trained and only wees outside not inside and will go too door if he wants a wee outside. The bar man (tall) said some customers complaining at dog on her lap well sorry if you don't like animals then don't go into a dog friendly establishment. Dogs are, cleaner than some humans. My friends dog has separation issues so holding him on her lap reduces stress Other members of staff were OK buy the one guy had issues. Eather be dog friendly or not and if the rule of no dogs on laps not alowed then display it on signs too save any issues. Fare enough if he was sitting on chairs but the poor dog was on his owners, lap and not the chair. Other dog friendly establishment don't seem too have issues like the pier does. Shame because it's a nice place but we will not go again

We called in to the Mariners for coffee but couldn't resist having a breakfast roll which consisting of egg, sausage and bacon in a lovely crusty roll. The bread roll was amazing the egg was runny but not too runny, a tasty sausage and the most delicious thick lean bacon. Would thoroughly recommend trying one of these.

Phoned up to book a large booking in advance for a family whilst we would be staying in new quay bank holiday weekend. Got rudely told we can’t book before 10 days prior, I find this ridiculous when you’re trying to secure a table on a busy bank holiday for a large family. If that’s the rule then fair enough but the way we were told about it was very rude! Asked for the manager and his attitude was appalling also!

We were in Aber for the weekend and we popped in for a drink during the day. The barmaid was very friendly and the drinks were reasonable so we popped back at night for a few drinks before going back to the hotel. It was nice to be in a pub with a local feel despite being a couple of hours away from home. I'd recommend a mute button for the karaoke though because I'm still having nightmares about a couple of the singers ha.

Fantastic lunch at this lovely beachside spot. Fish and chips was fab, super thin crispy batter, just the way I like it..🫶 Dog friendly, we ordered them some sausages and they came all cut up ready in little bowls, really nice touch.. highly recommend after a lovely walk on the beach

Ordered a takeaway. I've only recently moved to the area and had tried the other 2 curry places in Cardigan. I enjoyed both of those but this was by far the best. I'm vegetarian and the flavour of the food was lovely, with a really good mix of vegetables. They also deliver to over 3 miles away. They do charge a bit extra, but it was well worth it. It is now the only place I will go to for an Indian meal.
