Spent weekend in Aber had beautiful meal sat had Sunday dinner 20 outa 10 staff very freindly can't wait to visit again❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Always an excellent Sunday lunch. Update: Google wants me to tell you how it's changed but really it hasn't. We still come here for Sunday lunch and it's still excellent.

Had the steak and was pleasantly surprised. Cooked great and a good size. The rest of family very pleased with their's.

Told no ice for our drinks in the bar. Say no more!

Pub in the centre of town, incredible range of cocktails and the food is amazing - I agree that the sausages are "probably" the best in Aberystwyth - theyre certainly the best I've had.

We had an office christmas party here. The food came out quickly, nothing to shout about but good value. The bar was a little bit cold. Toilets need a refurbishment asap.

Just popped in for a pint, lovely dog friendly pub

Bar person was outside front door having a cigarette. They said they would be with us in a minute. 5 mins later we decided to leave. On leaving the bar person said I will be back in a minute. Poor customer service.

Nice relaxing place. Usual tap beers but no real ales. Staff were friendly and polite. Wooden floors throughout. Tables and chairs were very nice. Really nice bar area. Beer was good. Pleasant place really enjoyed my visit.

Went with my daughter and just had a dessert each before going to the cinema. Chocolate fudge cake and sticky toffee pudding hit the spot 🤩

Drove 20min to get some food and the place was closed. Wrong Open hours !

After looking at Google I wasn't to keen on this place for food but went for it and was really impressed. Good food, friendly atmosphere, prices very reasonable.

Fantastic doggy friendly pub. We had a day trip to the devil's Bridge then headed into Aberystwyth and found this dog friendly pub. Brilliant service and the server was prompt with all food. Food was amazing and would recommend to anyone.

Chose the Cambrian instead of the Wetherspoons across the road and so glad we did! The food was way above our expectations especially at the price! The young woman that served us was friendly and efficient. It was a bit sad to see it so quiet on a Friday lunchtime. More people need to cross the road to see what's on the other side! Would definitely recommend.

Stopped in for supper. Bangers and mash were very good. Local butcher supplies tasty sausages. No grease or gristle in these! Fine grained, lean, tender bangers and buttery mash in different flavors. Interior is simple and a bit spartan, but comfortable. Snooker table was in use. Only downside was kitchen very slow-almost an hour to get our meal.

New staff were being trained so slow service but they were very nice and attentive to our large group of customers.

Nice place to stop for drinks, great service from a lovely Irish lad behind the bar!😊👍

delicious food, clean, don't let the outside fool you

A nice pub. Very friendly staff. Only having one ale on draft was a bit disappointing, particularly as it was Worthingtons. Uni Maths Soc has a charity fundraiser karaoke which was highly entertaining.

Run down appearance inside and outside. Tables were sticky as were the menus. The floor was also desperately in need of cleaning. The larger and the bitter we ordered were almost undrinkable. Obviously due to poor maintenance of the lines. The staff seemed more focused on socialising with selected customers rather than the clientèle in general. Overall a deep disappointment, there are I'm sure many better pubs in this town, I couldn't imagine there being a worse one.

We were able to park nearby in the evening. Our dog was made very welcome by the regulars. We loved your sausages and mash!

Popped in for some food. Clean, friendly and the food was excellent. We both had bangers and mashe. Several different types of sausage and the same for the mash and at a great price. Can't criticise anything.

First time back after 20 years away. Still as it always was, just with a lot more cocktails on the walls.

Sunday lunch visit. I had the turkey roast which was delicious although the roast potatoes were not as crispy as I like. My partner had a sirloin steak cooked perfectly and very tender. Portion sizes were good and I think good value for money. Staff were efficient friendly and polite. We will definitely return in the not too distant future.
