Generally a really warm and welcoming local. Guinness not the best but otherwise a good range of drinks on offer.

Had to spend a night here whilst dropping the son at university, entrance is through the beautiful pub downstairs (once you have your key you can use the side door) entering up the also beautiful grand staircase we were taken to our room. The room itself was spotless and perfectly laid out. The bathroom was perfect in every way. Please stay here if your considering somewhere, I cannot stress enough how great it is and staff are lovely. I'm only giving it 5 stars because I can't give it 10

Lovely room and a great view. The only down side for us was the noise from the pub downstairs.

First of all I didn't stay here I had a few beers downstairs but it was still good. The service was great, the location was good and I'm pleased we finally managed to get there during opening hours. The building is quaint but lovely and choice of drinks is unique. There is a fireplace but it wasn't lit/on during my visit

We were in Aberystwyth celebrating our pearl wedding anniversary and though a curry would be a nice treat. We ordered onion bhagi for starters which was OK, for our main we ordered king prawn dhansk, chana masala( neither had tomato listed as ingredients) and vegetable balti. The dhansk was described as medium hot cooked with pineapple and creamy sauce. The dhansk was so spicy hot my eyes were watering as I opened the lid. It was so spicy it was inedible. The chana masala consisted of a tub of chick peas and chunks of tomatoes not a drop of masala sauce. The vegetable balti was bland and I can only describe it as a greasy stew. The pashwar nann was dry and lacking in flavour, non of the sweet coconut I'm used to. The only positive thing was the girl who delivered our food was very pleasant and apologetic for getting lost on the camp site which is very easy to do. Unfortunately due to this experience I won't be using Shilma tandoori again and could not recommend it others

Shop was empty but staff were welcoming. Food was mediocre at best. Unfortunately, not impressed by their food and cost was higher than others in the area too.
