Great place to relax, good music to just sit, chat and admire the stunning views of the coastline. Lovely bar staff and to top it all, a great pint of Guinness 👌👌

Nice Bar at front of Aberyswyth pier You can order basket meals from chipper opposite pub quite cheap from £7 to £12 Some of the staff a wee bit grumpy found staff in snooker games bar better And better trained Can also go on pier decking when weathers good There’s also a upper bar which sometimes has live bands on weekends Shame they closed the restaurant upstairs though Used to have the best service and food with Emmanuel Sad to see it now

Great looking place with lovely view but the food leaves alot to be desired.

Just had a couple of drinks, great outside area on the pier to relax and take in the views.

Went to this bar, was greeted by a lovely bar tender I think her name was Poppy, she was very accommodating, and just an all round nice girl. Would go back

When we arrived waited at the bar to order our food where we had to wait about 3 minutes for the 2 girls working to finish their conversation. When we were acknowledged we were greeted by a rude lady, I believe her name is Emma (name on our receipt) who demanded our ID, no hello or welcome. None of the staff looked like they wanted to be there, no smiles and very unwelcoming. When we ordered our food she gave my friend a buzzer and knife and fork but not mine, I asked for cutlery which she aggressively passed me. When the buzzer started beeping we were not aware what we had to do, as we were never told anything about having to collect food or where to collect it from. Her and her colleague were staring at us and sniggering about us sitting here with the buzzer going off when after about 2 minutes Emma shouted across the pub ‘you need to come and get it’ I walked over to the bar to ask what I have to do where she pointed at our food which was dumped on a tray on the bar in front of a group of people sitting on the bar stools around the bar. Food was great, however possibly one of the worst and humiliating service I have ever recieved.

The decor in the pub was great very well done . But the staff didn't want to be there and they showed it . No smiles or thank you just short sharp replies. Will not go back in again .

We didn't try the food. Only attended for drinks. Reasonably priced and good selection. Great atmosphere. A bit of steam punk theme, which it tastefully done. Lovely views of the sea and surrounding area.

While on a couple of nights break away we went to Aberystwyth for a change never been before and whilst having a walk about stumbled across this little gem and ended up staying most of the afternoon and was entertained by the starlings 1000's of them desending from the sky and nesting under the pier was a sight well worth seeing.

It's not a bad place to have a drink, and it must be said the new layout is very nice

It's OK, but nothing special...

I’ve never experienced such confrontational staff ever in my life. I was truly shocked by the way these young girls (upstairs Saloon Bar) treated us 40 somethings. Seriously unwarranted confrontational behaviour from them off the bat. It’s hard to process. Sadly this has happened on more than one occasion, so it can’t put it down to a ‘bad day’ or a one off. This place seriously needs to rethink their staff. It’s a shame they poison the atmosphere as otherwise it would be lovely place. Had one drink there last week and left due to feeling so on edge.

A surpriseing gem this bar really liked the decor and seating arrangements.worth a visit.

Food used to be great but fish now tasteless and swimming in grease chips not much better

This is the best place for refreshment in the area, drink, food, entertainment, and of course the views from the pier. fantastic.

Didn't eat but the fish and chips looks lovely the view over the sea front is ace. Maybe a few to many TVs but that's minor

The only positive to this place is the fact that the bleach in the urinals was particularly strong when introduced to my eyes so I wouldn’t have to see that toilet of a bar ever again.

Really lovely looking place. Had chips which were horrible (I wish I had trusted my gut and gone to the take away across the road but it was raining and I wanted to sit down. They give you one free sachet of salt and vinegar but you have to pay 75p for a pot of substandard mayonnaise!

Very nice and cosy pub by the sea. Watch the game last night while visiting Wales. Loved every minute. Thanks.

We were thrilled with view, food, and the service! The indian food was exceptional but the chef himself came out to meet us because he was worried about us due to the very heavy raining.. we will go back. You should take a reservation and enjoy a wonderful meal.

Not coeliac friendly. No gluten free options. Waitress claimed chips are cooked with battered food which would be highly unusual and is unlikely. Waitress refused to ask the kitchen. Also refused to let us bring in fish & chips from outside. Silly as we’d have stayed drinking for hours

Love this place. Spectacular location on pier over Aberystwyth bay. Mild steam punk decor looks very cool. Good service and nice selection of drinks. Brilliant views over the sea from funky, individual diner style seating. Great music choice. Top bar x

Inn has been done out very well internal decor is excellent in keeping with the theme of Victorian era

At long last its opened. We had the dog with we, but still could go inside and use the first rows of seats. We'll done for that.

Food was absolutely delicious! Lamb shank with mash, tenderstem broccoli, carrots and gravy - the meat just fell off the bone 🤤 washed down with a strongbow and gin and lemonade 😍 service was fast and polite, pricing wasn't too bad either

This hs been recently renovated. Card payment preferred. Some of the seats are former cinema seats. Plenty of seats. They also do food from the attached chippy. The views at the windows are lovely.

The refurbishment of Inn On is amazing, such a great place, the staff are so friendly and helpful, one of my favourite places in Aberystwyth!

An old favourite from my uni days way back when, coming back to visit to see it renovated was a lovely surprise. Great decor, atmosphere and service, it was certainly a pleasure to be back!

Beautiful beach in Aberystwyth and we were glad we arrive there on time for sunset even at the very last moment. It was magical! The fish and chip was good as well and the price was cheap!

Nice place since refurbishment but sitting at a seat and seat behind me keeps knocking my seat due to attached together and don't know how a person in a wheelchair can sit by table and eat don't think they thought it through

We visited Wednesday night and got so much more than expected. The place is beautiful. Our waiter was accommodating above and beyond. Compliments to the chef the food was outstanding- that good we came back Thursday! Would definitely recommend

Had Sunday lunch today .. the manager or owner spoilt our experience by constantly bullying verbally his young staff , he was loud and didn’t pay attention when he was dealing with customers as he still continued to watch and “get at” his staff .. what a horrible man ! The food wasn’t any better wafer thin meat undercooked anemic roast potatoes and very salt gravy Will NOT be returning although the setting is beautiful.

The arcade was very easy to win prizes but the food was raw I had scampi and the fish was raw chips barely cooked and I had to ask for tarte sauce it also took 2 HOURS

Loved the darts. Staffing needs an improvement. A few tips that would make all the difference. 1. Take a note at who's been at the bar and at least try and serve who's waited the longest. On every occasion that there was some what of a cue the bar staff failed miserable at this. You served the loud and arrogant as priority even when they have just arrived all on the "who's next" approach. Even day 1 trainee bar staff can recognise who's been at a bar a while and who has just arrived. 2. Give a little bit of a tutorial for your in house games, particularly the cimputerised darts. I can imagine the technology less able-bodied might have struggled. FYI your missing a trick here as games like.this are becoming really popular get both lanes open and promote it better!!! 3. Learn your cocktail of the week.... there shouldn't be a confused face when someone asks for it.

Visited a while ago, had a good choice of cocktails but seemed to need a bit of a refurb, was ideal for a quick drink before taking a walk along the beach.

We had lunch here. Very good food and amazing views.

Stopped here for some drinks ,polite staff ,good choice of drinks reasonable prices, best of all is the outside seating giving fantastic views of Aberystwyth promenade and cardigan Bay, must mention plenty of snooker, pool tables indoors and tv screens to watch various sports events well worth a visit

I myself and my husband visit this place many times in the years.i love this place and its my favourite,however today we were confronted by security who wanted to know "what we want".explained just a drink and this bloke was very rude and obnoxious.

Pleasant for Drinks - Go Elsewhere for Food (Please note, this review refers to the outdoor sundeck at the end of the pier, which serves drinks and a limited food menu) I seldom ever post reviews, but this place has ticked me off so here goes: Step 1. Sit down (first come, first served as far as tables go which is okay). Step 2. Be greeted and asked for your drink (take note as you pass the bar, or just order there). Step 3. Ask for food menu and realise you missed your best chance to order b/c the menu is so small (understandable) that you will decide instantly, but the server has already vanished. Step 4. Get forgotten about for thirty minutes. Step 5. Attempt to get a member of staff’s attention, but get ignored. Step 6. Leave in disappointment. I beg you, avoid the sundeck and just book a table upstairs instead; they are much nicer up there.
