The Welsh Lady serving was amazing and cooked up a great Breakfast for us two Soldiers on a visit back to Wales. She was ace and must be commended!!! We got there early but she already had
so many people to cook for. Breakfast was amazing and 10/10.Thanks and will recommend to England as a place to go!!!,
We're on holiday, so I normally research places before I visit but we had just visited poppit sands and after leaving we decided to stop in cardigan. This was nigh on the first dog friendly cafe we came too so we took a chance . We only came in for a drink and my wife had a scone so can't comment on the food but if I was able to come back there were plenty of options on the menu that took our fancy. Service was friendly and efficient and we enjoyed our time there. The place was very cosy and looked like it had lots of different choices of seating on different levels. If I lived locally this would be an ideal place to meet up with friends for a chat. It's also dog friendly which is another bonus.
I had to laugh when I read some of the reviews complaining about everything here being vegetarian/vegan and gluten free - that makes a change! Normally those who need such diets have at most two choices and more often than not the gluten free choice is a cake - i.e. not a choice at all. Well not here and thank goodness for it. Everything is suitable for everyone - yes, everyone can eat vegan and veggie food. For me this is more inclusive and by definition better for everyone.
Now my rant is over on to the food itself. Tasty, wholesome, excellent value and organic - what could be better than that - for both our bodies and the planet. Service too is good with plenty of smiles and the price is not bad either. As for the location well, you're here to learn about the planet and the impact we have on it and how we can help, and eating food like this is part of that. Say no more.
I called here today on my journey from Speke to Cardiiff having been three weeks ago and enjoyed ham egg and chips (iIseem to recall they swopped baked beans for me instead of peas the eggs were requested to be cooked hard and they were done exactly as I like them.
This time I had home made leek and potato soup folled by homemade steak and ale pie with jug of gravy and chips - absolutely superb, Will definately be calling here whever i pass,
Beautiful hidden gem, that has the character of the Cafe in ‘ Last of the Summer Wine’!!
A very well presented hot breakfast served with a hot tea and coffee.
All the lads enjoyed and the host was exceptionally kind!!
Thank you💙👍🏻
We spotted the phrases home made and made from scratch on the blackboard and this helped us decide to try this casual dining restaurant in Lampeter. The Covid precautions were good and the staff member was very pleasant. We both chose the crispy chicken burger and coconut cake. Everything on our plates was very fresh and delicious and made with good quality ingredients. I strongly recommend Sosban Fach for a fast, very tasty ,generous and well priced lunch!
Absolutely brilliant, no complaints at all will definitely go again. Service good, nice and clean .I had the rheidol breakfast again the wife had a bacon mushroom and cheese roll and chips excellent
Had a breakfast and a panini as our brunch today. Lovely food, great service and some quirky art to look at. Go on, give it a try if you haven’t already.
Amazing shop and cafe!
