First time here and OMG it did not disappoint-the food was amazing! We had starters of deep fried cockles and the nachos-both were stunning. Mains we had two specials-the crab linguine with lime and chilli and a pizza-both out of this world. Service from all the staff was lovely-really friendly, welcoming vibe. Will definitely be back!
Arrived and were told to sit wherever we liked when we asked to sit outside.
Waitress gave us menus, took our drinks order and then returned with our drinks.
She never returned to take our food order, we had to go inside to find her.
Food arrived quite promptly but what a disappointment. Bread was on the stale side and the avocados were hard and tasteless.
We wanted to order a second drink but the waitress never returned to our table.
I used to love it here but I won’t be rushing back unfortunately..
For a very busy place, we were served quickly, friendly and the food was amazing. The steak my other half had was better than the steak we were served at Miller and carter a couple of weeks ago. Would highly recommend this place for people who are visiting.

On arrival found plenty of parking spaces. Went into hotel via back stairs and walked through corridor to front for reception. First impressions were of a tired looking hotel, in dire need redecoration, hardly the appearance of a 4 star hotel.
Receptionist was very helpful but again the reception desk looks like something you would find in a 2/3 star place.
When we got the keys to the room, we saw more of the hotel that hadn’t been decorated in years.
The room was big enough with a clean and spacious bathroom. The beds were comfortable, but the room temp was uncomfortably warm as the windows face south and have very restricted opening. The decor is awful, small pattern floor to ceiling and same paper on the doors !!
The curtains matched the pattern although opposite colours. They were also very musty smelling which made the room smell too. One of my pet hates in hotels it there is only normally one chair, well here we actually had two, so well done.
Breakfast room is huge, but limited space for two people as most of the tables are set up for large groups, we were offered tables in the conservatory, but it was very sunny so would have been like sitting in a greenhouse, interestingly none of the 2 seating tables by the winder were in use. We needed up having to use the next smallest table which seated 8.
The breakfast selection was very good and the food of fairly good quality, would have been nice to have decaf tea available given there was decaf coffee. Staff were very friendly.
Over all the hotel was ok for the reason we were there but not a 4* and not worth the money for one night.

First arrived and We were told it was 30 minute wait for food which was fine however we were seated and waited 15 minutes for a drink then another 15 minutes before food was ordered then a 30 minute wait from then.. for food to arrive luke warm… gammon was like leather egg had been sat out that long on a hot plate it had gone chewy… a friends onion rings were cold. To top it off staff were slow and not very accommodating.. understandable if busy but it wasn’t. Felt awkward and unwelcoming between sad food and miserable staff. Would not recommend.
stunning views towards pen-y-fan , lovely to sit out on a gorgeous day , most stunning burger ever and delicious fries and yummy coffee , lovely friendly staff , clean and nice decor .
Lovely friendly restaurant
Service was friendly and quick. Food was very reasonably priced and tasty. We really liked the place.
We just had to wait a bit to pay the bill
An exceptional experience from start to finish, our welcome was so lovely, the food outstanding with a very diverse menu, we were even told if they didn’t have it on the menu they would make it for us! A must try if you’re in the area.
