Great food. Huge portions. Exceptionally clean toilets too.

Best chip shop in the area. Tried others, and food quality not up to this standard, large potions and their curry sauce is delicious.We regularly visit, absolutely brilliant 👍

We only had takeaway chips and curry sauce but they were amazing! Not sure how you cook the chips but not had them like that before and they were phenomenal! 🤤

Freshly refurbished and looks lovely. The food was presented really well and tasted amazing. Portions are extremely generous. The staff were very kind and accommodating.

As a local resident we've tried all the local fish and chip restaurants. This was without doubt the best weve had. Freshly cooked, quality fish and after being wrapped and driven home, still hot a crispy where others end up with soggy batter and chips. Thank you. We will be back 😎👍

Thought we picked a good place after checking reviews but we were unlucky! Girl on the till was polite whilst ordering but when she gave us the food and the overpacked paper bag broke she just smirked and didn’t offer us another. We were handed the plastic trays containing the chicken curry, unwrapped and boiling hot which burnt my hand! They’d obviously just come straight out of the microwave. Portion sizes were awful, the regular chips the same size as a kids portion, maybe they gave us the wrong size?!, but at least it wasn’t too much food for the bin which is where all three trays of our oil soaked soggy chips ended up. My son did eat his korma but spent our first night here being sick because of it!!

Popped in for a late lunch today and the place was very busy but we were met by two very friendly, hard working young ladies who provided fantastic service. The food was amazing and the fish and chips was some of the best we've had in years, and very generous portion sizes. Prices were very reasonable for the quality of food served. Would recommend to anyone 👍

Went here for a meal today been going here for a few years when last owners had it fab then it was not now service not good husband had chicken curry it was so dry he asked for some curry sauce as couldn't each terrible when they brought the curry sauce waitress just slammed it on table went to pay the bill and they added £1.95 for the small little bit of curry sauce the cheek of it their fault curry was dry they wouldn't refund the. £1.95 no fault of the young girl on till who was the only one there that was polite

Normally go to the Celtic round the corner but last night decided to give Llond Plat a go. Not disappointed, chips and sausage takeaway were excellent. Big portion, excellent value for money.

Lovely takeaway cod and chips. Soft inside yet crispy chips. Light batter that wasn't oily, sticky or gloopy and lovely fish with no skin. They let me try the curry sauce but was too sweet for me - great service! Da iawn bois!

A large group of 12 of us came to Llond plat, we could not fault a thing. The staff, the food and the service was incredible. Second best chips in Ceredigion 😉 thank you from Lisa and her Mariners x

The food was nice and the portion is good . But what made the meal was the service she was spot on fair play. Literally just gave me food and a cup of tea didn't ask me about my meal Every 10 mins perfect ..June 11 2024 .

Fish and Chips done properly. Hard to come by these days. Proper chips, brilliantly cooked fish, tasty curry sauce and a lovely veggie burger. Great service and very fair prices. Highly recommend - wish we were local!!

Nice food, good selection. Tonight's Fish & Chips with Halloumi Burger somewhat spoiled when I got home to find just chips (No fish !!). As I live 8 miles away I couldn't be bothered to go back, but certainly put off using them (and £7.50 down !)

This chip shop do children's portion meals £4 get you sausage or nuggets or a small fish chips with gravy or curry sauce or peas or beans and a fruit shoot or a carton drink we'll good value and the adults fish and chips the best fish I have had in for ages

So disappointed today.. Ordered a cod and chip take away and when I got home, which is literally round the corner , it was almost cold with soggy batter and hard chips I should have taken it back but I have difficulty walking so most went in the bin.. Must have been the wrong time of day.!!

Smallest “regular” chips I’ve ever seen, and expensive too at £2.70. Honestly it was about 30 chips. I remember when you’d get a small chips from a chippy and it would feed 3 people. This wouldn’t feed a child. Yet there were smaller options in the menu - “cone” and “kid’s portion.” How many chips don’t you get in them?!

A Filling and a delicious fish and chip restaurant. You will get the authentic flaky crust and super soft fish in the moddle. Totally loved to food here during my visit to west wales.

We ordered 2 cod and chips but received just 1 ,we ordered a jumbo battered sausage and received a small sausage ,we ordered a portion of chicken dippers which was just 4 very small pieces ,we were Al, left hungry and disappointed

Cannot fault the newly refurbished Llond Plat. The large cod and chips is LARGE! It’s a fantastic meal and good value given the quality of the food and portion size. I visited as part of a group and we all left talking about how good the food was and how impressive the portion sizes were. The batter was light and fluffy but also had that crunch to it. Bang on.

Food as good as ever and you certainly won't leave hungry. Best chippy in Aberaeron. Refurb looks great. A bit of patience is needed with the service as the staff are new and not quite up to speed but it is early days and that is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars.

Loved coming here before new owners took over.. came for fish and chips with the family only to throw it all in the bin. There was more grease and oil than anything. Fish inedible due to the excessive oil, batter was mushy and covered in oil. Chips again, covered in oil.. staff got order wrong so I had to travel back for them to correct it..

Only the second day. Good luck to you both. Be competitive and you will succeed.

We are from llandysul and we go to aberaeron alot just to go to this chip shop. The staff are so friendly especially Hannah, the food is amazing, priced well and all freshly done. Can't wait to see the newly refurbished cafe.

Llond plat have the best chips in Aberaeron. Reasonably priced too. Just great.

Gave me beans on my chips instead of gravy. However one of the best chip shops I’ve been too, unreal chips, lovely fish and the fish cake is top quality

Don't go anywhere else! On Sunday we had driven home three and a half hours through traffic jams rain and fog arriving in Aberaeron starving at 8.30ish . We pulled up outsider the Lond Plat just as they were closing but the lady who runs it said "let them in we've only just turned everything off" They gave us enormous portions then asked us if we had a dog (We have) as there were a couple of sausages left over. Then she asked us if we had anything that would eat the remaining chips and we told her we had chickens that would love them so we left laden with free goodies for our animals and the best chip shop chips I can remember eating. Just Brilliant.

Food was first class… toilets immaculate and good friendly service.. if in the area please try.. we’ll worth a visit

Waited 45 minutes for our food. Got home and none of it was fit to eat. Almost £60 in the bin. Be a while before i try this place again

You only have to look at the queue in the shop to know this fish & chip shop is great. We ordered fish and chips for 3 of us and was amazed at the quality of the food. Fish & chips cooked to perfection, really nice batter. No Haddock which was a shame, but we had COD and was still really nice and fresh tasting. Would Highly recommend if you are staying locally or visiting.

Stopped in here for some proper fish and chips (by the sea), wasn't disappointed at all. Chips were crispy on the outside fluffy in the middle, and the cod was incredible in a really good and crispy batter. The staff were friendly even when it was nearly 30 degrees outside. And service was very good. Will definitely stop by next time I'm in the area!

A super busy shop because the battered cod is the best! Crispy well drained and delicious. Best for miles around. Keep doing what you do so well.🏅

Dined in here at Llond Plat our order came out wrong at first had battered sausage chips X2 and halloumi fries, the sausages came out plain which at first didn't realise we started tucking in within a minute waiter came over discussed they made a mistake and gave us an extra 2 battered sausages ontop of what we were already comfortable with was no big deal the mistake but honest staff and business wanted to put things right without question. Top quality food and great value will be sure to visit again when in area! Thanks guys

I was here with my 3 kids visiting Aberearon and heard that the fish and chips were lovely here. They did not disappoint, it was lovely food, lovely atmosphere. Shout out to the woman serving, cooking and taking payments in a busy chippy single handed! Bravo! Would definitely come here again!

The food was really delicious there was 4 of us here and each of us had something different and really enjoyed it. The service was slow and took a while for the food to come and the women took her time with clearing off the tables. Overall the food made up for the bad service so I would recommend.

We only stayed in Wales a week and twice we came here for food. Very friendly staff, lovely to sit outside with our 🐕. Food nice and fresh, hot and delicious 😋. Would really recommend it to anyone

The picture doesn't do the fish and chips justice, the best fish and chips I have ever had. The fish was massive and was lightly battered, so not just a load of batter on your plate. The chips were freshly cooked and the curry sauce was amazing. Staff were very polite and friendly even if they were rushed off their feet. Highly recommended if you are in the area. I will definitely be back soon.

We visited this lovely fish and chip shop for the first time today. The food was gorgeous, really nice chips. I also had two shmoo milk shakes. The staff were very friendly and the place is wheel chair accessible. We will be back. Thank you.

We called by chance and decided to eat in their cafe area. The service was slow the decor is dated , but the fish and chips were very good. Well priced and good portion sizes. There is limited free parking outside the premises. The menu is comprehensive and well priced. The counter service for take away is very good. The food is well cooked and free from oily residue after being fried. Child friendly and easily entered with no steps. We will use the take away service again soon.

Stayed in Aberaeron for three nights and had a fish and chip takeaway from here twice! We so enjoyed the first meal, we just had to have another before we left! Never done that before. All was fresh. The fish was really chunky and the batter crispy, not soggy like in so many places. The chips were perfectly cooked. Great service and sensibly priced. When we're next back in the area, we'll definitely visit again 👍

Very friendly service and freshly prepared food. We sat outside on the pavement - because of our canine companion - good selection of soft drinks. Offered us a sausage (when they are cooked in the morning and not sold), also offered to put a water bowl out for our pupper.

This place is ok. Nothing to write home about. Portions of chips is pathetic for how much you pay and the lack of prices visible anywhere is also a red flag. The wait is absurd as well, there seems to be an army of staff but theres no rush or anything to get punters sorted.

Ordered fish and chips and mushy peas, lasagne and chips. Unfortunately the fish was overcooked and drying out,the chips were nice but the lasagne very greasy,the mushy peas tasted ok but I have had a bad stomach since eating them I am sorry to say I would not return

Had food there two nights in a row. Fish on the first night, Lasagne on the second. Cannot fault the food or the size of the portions. Staff very polite, friendly and helpful. Toilets spotless.will definitely call again.

Went there today for lunch… sat outside the front as we had the dog with us… wonderful freshly cooked cod and chips twice, with a bloody delicious curry sauce!! Staff were really friendly and helpful… couldn’t have wished for more!! Wouldn’t hesitate to return… fantastic!!

The food I had was frozen and inedible I'm sorry to say it's my first time in Wales and stopped of at this restaurant I can guarantee I will not be eating there again

We had a fish and chip lunch here and it definitely hit the spot. The food was hot and good value for money. The staff were all friendly and helpful. My only minor criticism would be that the seating area was a little chilly. This didn't spoil the meal however and we will definitely visit again next time we are in the area.
