Had a breakfast and a panini as our brunch today. Lovely food, great service and some quirky art to look at. Go on, give it a try if you haven’t already.

This is a very basic restaurant but we enjoyed the food we were served. The waiter was fab (only him waiting on tables) and looked after us very well as there were 8 of us which is tough when they weren’t expecting us the 1st week of Jan 24. Because of the time of year they’d not had all their deliveries but he was open and honest about this and so we knew what we could and couldn’t have. What more can you ask?! Thank you 😊

Excellent service. Food was very good. It was hot and tasty and well presented. It offered excellent value for money. We didn’t realise it was there but have found an absolute gem! Maybe a bit more advertising would be beneficial. We will definitely go again!

Saw this restaurant while walking along the streets in Aberystwyth. The best and hottest cup of coffee ever. Leek and potato soup was red hot and very tasty. Cheese omelette delicious, hot and sooooo tasty. The place to eat a perfect lunch in Aberystwyth.

Excellent service, staff are always warm and welcoming. Even when it's busy the staff come to the table to make sure we are happy with everything. Breakfast was very good value for money, the meat is always delicious, despite me not being a huge fan of meat. The hash browns and bacon are always cooked to perfection. I've had the double breakfast before, and that was even better value for money! The art is great, it's nice to see a small business supporting local artists. The branding of Ciao Ciao is a little confusing, it took me a few months to actually come in as I was expecting an Italian menu. I'm glad they've embraced more of a hearty cafe menu, with good staples and Welsh classics.

A friendly, busy cafe in the centre of town with an extensive menu of snacks and meals. There's a good selection of vegetarian options. Service is friendly. We arrived on a busy Saturday lunchtime and our waitress warned us there would be a 15-20 min wait for our drinks and food. This turned out to be 30 mins but we didn't mind.

Had another great experience today. Like the feel in here. The menu suits me (but I did add salt to the lasagne) and I can always find something I like. The staff were friendly and efficient. Check opening times / days if you want to go in the evening.

Back in the summer I was invited here for a family get together, I just wanted to share with you how lovely of a spot this was to visit in the evening. Family friendly with quiet corners for couples, lovely food and a relaxed atmosphere. Room for improvement? I would say, an options for Vegans and gluten free individuals. This might have changed since I was last there so please be sure to check for yourself. Sorry I did not take photos at the time.

Lasagne was awful, spag Bol and all day breakfast was lovely however the garlic bread was forgotten about for the spag Bol and delivered upside down on a plate once reminded. The desserts were £4:95 for what can only be described as a budget supermarkets frozen dessert worth about £1.00 cut into quarters and sold at a very nice profit indeed. Oh and these were served still with dirty plates in front of us which were not removed even when order was taken despite member of staff being empty handed nor once deserts delivered again leaving empty handed! Will not be going back. No management obvious at all

Nipped into this small lounge for a late Sunday breakfast after a long drive into Aberystwyth. It wasn't a big meal, just a teacake and a pot of English Breakfast (for around a fiver, not many places you can get it that cheap!) but both were lovely and gave me some much-needed energy for exploring this beautiful town. There's a very nice atmosphere too, the furniture is light in colour and well-kept. There's plenty of room to move around, the tables aren't crammed together. There are paintings and other works exhibited from local artists, available to purchase. The staff were polite and pleasant - I was able to order in Welsh, too! Ciao Ciao offer some homemade Welsh food as well as Italian. Their menu's pretty varied (and well-produced, lovely leather coverings) and very reasonably priced, so definitely a venue I'd be happy to visit again.

Lovely cafe! It has a calm and peaceful atmosphere which is just what I needed on a very hot day. The staff are polite and attentive. I had a cheese and onion panini and apart from being delicious, was beautifully served with chips and salad on a wooden platter. I am fussy about my coffee and couldn’t fault that either. I am local and heard good things about this place from friends and they are not wrong. Will definitely be visiting again and again and will bring friends and family here too. Didn’t get any names but thank you to the lovely young lady who served me, you are a credit to the place.

Will never visit this place again, was very disappointing indeed. Cappuccino was the worst ever, looked like dishwater! Absolutely boiling hot! Tasted dreadful. We left and didn’t drink it £6.20 for both. Absolute waste of time.

Food was good and tasty, but what was a birthday meal let down by them having lost our reservation with no appolgy. We had to wait over an hour only to be told we would have eat in the bar. Service erratic and hit and miss. Would not return.

The Falcondale has a good location with stunning views. The waiting staff were all very good, the choice of dinner menu was very limited and not 'a la carte'. Unfortunately the quality of the Welsh breakfast was very poor.

Food was ok but the only vegetarian option available was a fake chicken breast that was hanging around in the freezer. Previous reviews said that booking was essential but we were the only ones eating there at 7.30 on a Friday evening. It was early May so maybe they don’t get busy yet and the full menu wasn’t available. Not really what we were expecting from the previous rave reviews.

The View certainly has the Wow Factor! From the comfortable, modern vibe to the fabulous hosting, Lorraine with her team made our Sunday lunchtime ( and Friday coffees) an absolute pleasure. It really did feel like the customer’s needs were at the heart of what is offered. The carvery totally reached the spot with a very reasonable price tag. What more could we have hoped for. Thank you x
