Prices reasonable and the food was excellent good portions and very good quality food The waitress was really helpful her name was Deanna Will definitely go there again and would recommend this place to anyone

Food was very good but chairs and decor need attention. Lots of potential there. Some noise from associated bar, but all negatives were outweighed by the efforts of the Lampeter university student waitress who served us brilliantly.

The atmosphere in the Stables is quite nice, but the menu is mainly limited to a selection of burgers, but they also do steaks etc. - The Stables is not dog-friendly, but you can have the food next door in the dog-friendly Royal Oak pub. Not everything they advertise seems to be available: esp. most deserts were out everytime I came. The service can be friendly, but I had some less friendly encounters in the past here.

We were recommended here by the Castle Pub who weren't serving food that night and we were not disappointed.We both had steak which was probably one of the nicest meals we had had in a long time and were served by a very polite and helpful young lady with braided hair.

Qe were recently fortunate enough to sample the lovely cooked breakfasts served here, really thick cut bacon to die for and sausages very meaty. A proper plate full to set anyone up for the day. Also tried the burgers in the evening which again were so meaty and full of flavour, served with home cooked chips and coleslaw. Was busy and we were told there could be some wait for the food but it arrived much quicker than expected. Great service and friendly staff. The new owners should be proud of what they have achieved here

Currently sat here after a brilliant meal. Me and 14 of my friends, we dropped in out the blue asked if they could cater for us all with 0 notice and they did, brilliantly! All seated, drinks order taken and on our table within minuites, food order taken and delivered to table very promptly. The staff were excellent and not a single error with the orders. Food is gorgeous and great quality. On behalf of all 15 of us, thank you, excellent!

The meal was very good as usual. Have dined here a few times and not been disappointed with the food. The food were freshly cooked and hot and to an excellent standard. All 3 of us were happy with our meals. (steaks) I would like to see the home made onion rings back. Can recommend this place for a good meal. Also ask about the specials.

Delicious food and great service. It is a bit cold in there as others have said, but it didn't ruin a great meal. Lovely surroundings too.

Went out as a group of six friends. Very disappointing. Will not be returning. The waitress was in heavy cardigan and boots so that says everything. No more than a glorified burger bar with nothing tempting on the menu.

Cold , uninviting, disappointing food, unhelpful staff constantly talking on her phone. Limited wine choice, added to which the staff keep getting our order wrong. Will not be RETURNING

Having pre-booked food for 10 people, we ALL found the food cold! Such a shame as it was very tasty. Served on wooden platters, I do wonder how hygienic they were with knife cuts in them.... when I complained we were offered free drinks or 15% discount, we also mentioned the lack of onion rings also ordered but missing, the “home made chips” I’m guessing were McCains.... I was glad to have had the new potatoes. We were then offered 20% discount or free pudding we opted for the pudding choice which was at least hot. However, my friend had ordered apple pie and custard and it came out with a splash of cream on it. She did not want cream and so asked for one with custard only as ordered, just to be told there was none left....The owner came to ask what the problem was and when I told him the food was cold he said it had left the kitchen hot! I guess 10 guests v one owner he must have been right. How could 10 people who actually ate the food be right I wonder? A shame, it could have been a great night......

My partner and I come here often. The food is lovely and cooked very well. The staff are always friendly and helpful. And all the meat is local which I love!

Good food. The staff were friendly and helpful. I am not a great burger fan so asked if I could have the chicken option with rice instead of a bun. This was no problem and the chef produced a garlic sauce to go with it otherwise he said it would be a bit dry. I did manage to get through it. Just. Certainly plenty for me. My downside....the restaurant was cold which consequently meant that our food got cold rather too quickly. However I would still recommend it. Nothing too fancy but good solid pub fare.

Got recommended to go to this place whilst in the pub across the road. Fantastic and friendly service! Food was very good. I highly recommend the 24 ounce steak, but good luck finishing it!!

The food and service were top notice!!!! Absolutely fantastic service from Ryan and the crew!!!! The burgers and vegetarian options are all fantastic!!!! Local produce!!!!

We were a group of 12 adults and children and the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The food was well presented and of a very high quality. All of our group were very satisfied with our meals. Simply the best onion rings I've ever tasted! We'll definitely be back as there were so many other tempting items on the menu I have to work my way through. Thank you

Excellent friendly service, outstanding food with a fresh taste, plenty on the plate and very filling and well worth the price you pay, well worth a visit.

Visited with some family. Restaurant looks good and service is very friendly and quick. Food was amazing, others opted for one of the burgers which came served with home made chips and onion rings. I had the chicken fajitas which you made up yourself, chicken was lovely, flavoursome and lots of it!! Prices very reasonable. This place is newly opened and I hope it goes well for the owners as all their produce is freshly locally sourced too. Would highly recommend you try The Stables when passing through Lampeter, it is well worth a visit.
