Came here for some lunch with my sister. We both had the tuna jacket potatoes. Plenty of toppings and a lovely meal overall. Staff very attentive. Got some lovely cannolis from the show downstairs too.
Went for brunch with friends. Ordered a cheese toastie, the worse toastie I've ever had. Plastic cheese that looked like melted plastic & tasted just as bad, bread as thin as paper & the toastie machine must have been smaller than the bread as only the middle of the bread was toasted the rest of the bread was just plain bread. Friends had sausage sandwiches which were just as vile.
Went for a family meal and was not disappointed.
Lovely atmosphere inside, staff were very attentive and the food was amazing!
We will definitely be returning.
Just googling to see if they're open...on way to a regular breakfast treat. Easy parking. Great local shop for essentials on way into the caffi...well laid out unpretentious tables and a large menu to choose from. Food usually arrives without a long wait, and we have yet to find any fault with it. Been breakfasting here for years now...delighted that they are still dishing up tasty food at a very reasonable cost. Good coffee too :-)
This is a lovely restaurant in a gorgeous position . Beautiful views over the harbour. Popped in for coffee and cake. Ordered coffee but very little choice of cake or pastries. The visit would have been greatly improved by a smile from the servers who do little to enahnce the atmosphere .
Staff weren’t that friendly and looked like they would rather be anywhere but there. got the vibe they don’t like children also from watching them with other families. Food was a bit disappointing, lacked flavour and quite expensive for what you get. The actual place was very clean though.
Sunday lunch here failed in no part. Service was exceptional, wonderfully happy, friendly staff eager to please. Food was fabulous quality. Disappointed to have just missed out on meat of choice for the roast as they'd sold out just as we ordered but beef and Welsh lamb were fabulous. Amazing Yorkshire puddings, even more amazing roast potatoes and veg cooked beautifully to leave some bite and crunch.
Book early because there's not a lot of room for many covers. Quaint, small pub/ bistro. Can imagine it is very popular and books up quickly especially busier seasons.
La Terraza Bistro is a culinary gem that deserves all the praise it receives! Every dish is a masterpiece, crafted with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and bursting with bold, harmonious flavors. The menu celebrates global cuisine—think truffle-infused risotto, zesty Mexican tacos, and melt-in-your-mouth Japanese sushi—all presented with artistic flair. The ambiance is equally impressive: warm lighting, rustic-chic decor, and a serene patio draped in fairy lights that create a magical dining atmosphere. The staff went above and beyond, offering thoughtful recommendations and ensuring our glasses were never empty. Hygiene is clearly a priority here; the open kitchen sparkled, and tables were sanitized promptly. What stole my heart was their commitment to dietary preferences—gluten-free, vegan, and keto options were abundant and equally delicious. Pair your meal with a glass of wine from their curated list, and end the night with their signature chocolate fondant—it’s pure heaven! La Terraza isn’t just a meal; it’s an unforgettable experience for the senses. 🍷🍴
My husband and I visited Aberystwyth to watch our son play football. We had very little time to find anywhere to eat and were happy to find this place with a great outside dining area. We informed the staff that we were kind of in a rush and they took our order immediately. The food came out fairly quickly and so we managed to make the game on time.
The staff are extremely friendly and pleasant. Food was great, would definitely recommend. Pity we couldn’t stay for the free desert which was on offer for that day. Maybe next time!
