The best restaurants in Mid Wales

First time at the Blue Bell,certainly won't be the last.My 3 friends and I take turns to choose a venue,and although I'm familiar with New Quay this little gem escaped me.The food was amazing,staff were attentive and friendly.We will recommend to anyone looking for a place to eat.Thank you.

Good coffee. Good food. What more could I want

Excellent meal all around. Different. I had mussels as a starter which were very tasty and bavette for main. My husband had fish pie which should have been accompanied by veg. He asked for them and the waiter stated there were not an accompaniment. He had almost finished his meal and the waiter arrived with his veg! Apart from this a good meal. Bit pricey but a class above!

Called in to eat after a day of walking the coastal path. The quality of the food was good, what there was of it. The portion sizes, however, were very small and served on what appeared to be a small side plate. Also, it was expensive.

Only visited the basement bar which was lovely with a great atmosphere

My husband and I visited Aberystwyth to watch our son play football. We had very little time to find anywhere to eat and were happy to find this place with a great outside dining area. We informed the staff that we were kind of in a rush and they took our order immediately. The food came out fairly quickly and so we managed to make the game on time. The staff are extremely friendly and pleasant. Food was great, would definitely recommend. Pity we couldn’t stay for the free desert which was on offer for that day. Maybe next time!

Booked a table 14 people for lunch on the 6/12/24 the food was excellent 👌 service and the staff were attentive and frendly nothing was to much trouble Thank you for a very pleasant lunchtime 😀
