Great food, lovely staff, quick service. Definitely recommend. Chicken tika passanda was lovely.

Visited in a group recently, restaurant was very full and noisy, food not as good as it has been in the past which is a shame as it used to be really good, I had one of the specials and it had no chilli in it, it was more like chicken in BBQ sauce. Others in our group were disappointed with the meal. Hopefully just a one off caused by how busy they were. I will try them again at some point but probably just see how busy they are 1st.

Delighted and grateful that they can make many dishes vegan and are happy to do so. The tarka dhal and mushroom rice were especially delish! Flawless customer service, it has to be said – helpful, respectful and kind. Impressive!

End of month takeaway treat. Phone order taken quickly and food was ready when they said it would be. Nice and hot still even after a 5-10 minute drive home. Looked really good though maybe flavour wasn't as amazing as it looked it would be!

Always extremely friendly staff, very authentic feel to the place. Food is continuously 5 star and I've visited many a time !! Can't fault the place.. well worth the money. I will say that if you havent visited or only order a take away.. youre missing out on the experience.

Finally found a delicious vegetarian curry in Cardigan. Instead of other local offerings of super spicy - mostly cauliflower - with no taste. At Abdul's Spice the food was full of flavour so that the individual elements of both the main - Mixed Vegetable Biriani and side dish - Bindi Chana Bhaji I ordered could be tasted. The chapati is my Indian bread of choice and it was delicious for wiping up every last drop of sauce. I could have ate it all in one sitting but did not want to be uncomfortably full. Instead I put some in the fridge and ate it cold the following day. If possible, it tasted even better.

Came for an early evening meal and the place was quietly and calmly busy. Service was prompt and friendly, our food came quickly and was delicious. Thank you to all the staff (but especially the ones who cooked it all).

Best Indian i have ever had im on holiday in wales and we decided to go out for a nice Indian and when we went inside the atmosphere was amazing and it smelt so good and when the food came it looked amazing and it was delicious

18/06/2024: Returned to this cracking little restaurant and again its a solid 5*. Dupiaza and Korma this time around and still excellent, although the Dupiaza could have had a touch more kick to it. Take your own alcohol as they don't serve it on site. Definitely recommend having a curry here. Outstanding curry! Mrs had Tikka Masala which she enjoyed, and I had chicken Dhansak, which was one of the best I've ever had. Lovely rich sauce, full of flavour and then Boom! In comes the heat, exactly how it should be. Great service and good value.

Collected a takeaway here on a recent trip, the onion bhaji were overpriced and tasted like they were shop bought definitely not freshly made, the garlic naan was stone cold and the tikka masala was ok. Overall it's very overpriced for such substandard food and I've had much better from supermarket meal

Very nice food very good service

Everyone was really helpful (two wheelchair users). The food was lovely as always. Our waiter was Taio, he was excellent, polite, helpful and there checking that everything was ok. If anyone is looking for a place to eat I would definitely encourage them to go to Abdul's.

Ordered takeaway the onion bhajis were awful flat and chewy(you only get 2), the garlic naan was stone cold. We had chicken tikka masala which was OK to be fair but overall wasn't impressed and wouldn't ever go back.

This is a hidden gem. One of the nicest Indian meals i have ever had. Some may think it looks a bit dated but I am truthfully not sure they should change anything. The food is fantastic and you get a really warm welcome. We will return!

Our decision to visit Abduls was more than vindicated by our reception, the appearance of the restaurant and especially by the food. Friendly and helpful attention by Hussein and Taio set us at ease and we were able to relax and enjoy our meal having had a pleasant conversation with them. We over-ordered and a lot of food was uneaten but it was packaged for us, we took it home and enjoyed the next day. When we return to Aberteifi we will not hesitate to re-visit Abduls. I have eaten at dozens of Asian restaurants in my life and Abdul's is one of the very best.

In Cardigan for a short break. Free parking in large quayside parking, across from the restaurant, after 6pm. Discovered that Abdul's was an excellent restaurant. Very efficient service. Very comfortable seating areas. Spotlessly clean. Delicious food. All staff were extremely pleasant and efficient. Doesn't serve alcohol but you can take your own drinks if you want alcohol. Highly recommend Abdul's Tandoori.

We are regular visitors to Abdul’s. Lovely service by the staff as always, who took time to chat even though they were busy. Food was fresh & tasty as always. See you soon

Great Indian restaurant if in the area would recommend trying 👌

For an indian restaurant, this place is immaculate. Quite often they're poorly lit and a bit grubby but not Abdul's. It was bright and spotless. The food was generally excellent too, with a couple of exceptions. The chicken and lamb were cooked to perfection and were delicious. However, I thought the tarka dahl was thin and runny and more like soup. I'm used to it being much thicker with a consistency of light mashed potato. Also, the ice cream was very poor. It was a cheap supermarket offering which had been left to thaw and then refrozen. It was mainly ice crystals and tasteless. When I complained, they took it off the bill. Service was also wanting. We asked for more ice for our drinks and, when it didn't arrive, it was difficult to get a waiter's attention. Whatever they were up to in reception was much more interesting.

Ordered a takeaway, first thoughts were expensive but the reviews were good so didnt mind too much. But then got home we had no dip with our popadoms so had to eat them with our curry. We had a variety of currys but all were quite bland. Chicken tikka masala was nothing like what im used to from other places. A positive, the naan was good and the chicken was soft. Update - we went in to see if it was better than takeout. Same experience, the chicken tikka masala was the worst ive had unfortunately. The staff are very polite but i wouldnt go back

Absolutely amazing food and service at Abdul’s spice. We were craving Indian cuisine and was totally blown away. The most delicious food, with spices taken and grinded from local villages to the owner. The atmosphere was very calm and pleasant too. Lastly, the service we got from one of the servers Husayn was some of the best we have encountered. He was beyond helpful and kind and exchanged great and interesting conversation. He really took the time to make us feel comfortable and welcome. Thank you Husayn and the rest of the team at Abdul’s!

We were on holiday in the area and got a takeaway from here. Ordered via the web site and it was ready at the time stated, very polite but most importantly, the food was delicious. We really enjoyed the meal and would be back for more if we were local!

I have treated my son here to a few meals in thier restaurant and indeed had mote than a few takeaways over the years. The staffs service is exceptional. They are polite and kind. The food itself is in my view award worthy. I've never had a meal I didn't enjoy from there. They don't deliver like other local good options, however, if you are legally able to drive then take the time to do so. You won't be disappointed.

The tandoori chicken wasn't even red. The food was terrible the man that served us was great .

Really friendly service, food was really nice and easy parking after 6pm. I would recommend. We came here on a Sunday when most other places were closed and we really enjoyed our meal.

Service was friendly, with casually dressed staff. The menu has many options not found on the majority of Indian restaurants, however despite the "fully licensed" claim on the awning it is BRING YOUR OWN BEER.

On holiday here so decided to order a takeaway. Our choice was very nicely spiced without being too hot. There was an awful lot of juice to meat ratio but still enjoyable with some peshwani Nam bread. Service was decent and friendly so can't complain there.

Possibly the worse balti I've ever eaten. Tasted as of it was made with tomato soup. Service was good and food came quickly. Most likely because it came from a tin. Wouldn't recommend.

Was in Cardigan bay for my birthday. So this was my birthday meal of choice. Impressive from the start. As I walked in I was greeted by a very friendly guy behind the counter. He was also very professional and I immediately, felt welcome. It has a lovely interior and the air conditioning felt 100% perfect. Collected my food after half an hour. Well, I am a connoisseur and have been eating tandoori food for 35 years, I have eaten it all over the world, and I feel Abduls deserves this in depth review. We ordered chicken bhuna, chicken madras, sag aloo, rice and plain naan. The currys were fragrant, aromatic and full of flavour. My madras was hot and made me sweat, like a madras should. The bhuna was mild, and full of flavour and body, the spicing was perfect, just as a bhuna should be. Rice 10/10, fluffy, free flowing grains of cooked rice. Naan 10/10, it was fluffy, tasty and I wish we ordered more. The sag aloo, possibly the best I have ever had in the Uk. The spinach had an earthy taste which indicates it was organic, and it was not overloaded with garlic as most UK curry houses do. I fully recommend this place if you like Indian food. It is first class. Thank you for a fantastic birthday meal guys, I will be back the next time I’m in Cardigan - Dinesh

One of the worst Indian meals ever had. Chicken was like jelly, totally unedible. Just ate some of the rice and naan as was hungry and desperate. Ruined our holiday evening.

I had a sag aloo which was lovely and a plain vegetable curry , not bad - but the potato was a little undercooked. The poppadoms were not great overcooked and tasted on the burnt side. I would go again for the sag aloo!

Come here for a holiday and always visit this restaurant as it taste like home food and is very clean also the customer service of the lads is very good I highly recommend this place The restaurant it’s self is very nice and old school antique type and looks and feels very homely.

Visited on a Wednesday in February so thought it may not be up to much, however, staff were very welcoming, friendly and efficient. Food was tasty with generous portions. Particularly impressed with sauces and chutneys served with the poppadoms as these can often be hit and miss. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Great food with excellent service. My go to place for a great curry. Friendly atmosphere and bring your own alcohol. Hope to be there again soon. If your in the area pay it a visit. You won't be disappointed.

Can’t do a chicken tikka masala that’s for sure. But the madras, korma, chicken tikka starter and garlic naan are very good.

Ordered a takeaway of chicken biryani and a chicken Madras. Whilst waiting had a lovely chat with the staff, food arrived promptly and I can confirm it was delicious.. will visit again.

This was a really lovely dinner out. Everything we ordered was cooked perfectly. The naan bread was particularly lovely as it wasn't too thick. The waiters were all so friendly! They were run off their feet and still kept things ticking over and we didn't wait long for our food!

We are staying in the area and got a takeaway from here. Absolutely delicious food, I had the chicken tikka pathia which was full of flavour with really good quality chicken, the nicest I've had for a long time. Spoke to a very friendly man to place the order which was ready on time. Also we noticed that the hygiene rating had the top score of 5. Would definitely recommend based on the food we had ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Not nice the onion bhaji is the worst I've ever eaten and very little onion stodge! The mint sauce is not like any sauce I've ever had before d9nt recommend it curries taste the same I can cook better myself.

Excellent food and service , I’m a curry fanatic, like good quality dishes and Abduls did not disappoint. The Aloo Chat starter and sizzling Chicken Tikka main were bursting with flavour, piping hot and well presented. Staff were really friendly and attentive, food arrived promptly. Just remember folks restaurant does not serve alcohol but there is no corkage charge to bring your own, plenty of soft drinks available if you into that sort of thing. Great central location in Cardigan and well worth a visit
