The food took us all by surprise! It was really really nice! Though the interior was a surprise to say the least, being very modern and minimal compared to the classic British pub we were expecting from the outside, the food was great! I had chicken with a cream sauce and potato cake which was divine, and all the other meals got high praise - a steak sarnie, steak and chips, and cauliflower fritters too. All lovely. The staff went above and beyond for us, and despite a lengthy wait, it was so worth it! Thanks so much, and if youāre looking for a well-priced quality meal in the area, I donāt think thereās much better!

We came here to sit down for a drink and my whole family was happy with the price :) It turns out the owner was sat next to us and he was really nice! We spoke for a bit and he gave my brother some free crisps š. Would definitely recommend as this place was great and I would love to go again next time I visit Wales.
Food in this place is much better quality than nearby alternatives. Generous amount of chicken, gear tasting and lovely fresh veg.
My favourite place in the area. Erhan is always friendly and welcoming as well.
Great all round!!
Bit disappointing as when we looked at the menu there was lots of breakfast options of wraps, bagels and pancake stacks. When we arrived we were given a very basic menu of just a fry up and a couple over bits. The fry up was hotel breakfast style and very basic. Beans weren't nice. The prices were different to what we had seen online too on their website.
Waitress took drinks order, two of our group ordered a bottle of red wine so asked for red wine glasses, the waitress replied and said we normally only give red wine glasses if you buy a more expensive bottle.
This is extremely rude.
We have never been told this by any other restaurant before and it shouldnāt matter how much the bottle is, we are drinking red wine so should have red wine glasses.
We had our food and was nice. The waitress asked if we wanted a refill of steak and chips. I had the plant based steak as vegetarian and was told I do not get refills and offered me chips when everyone else got a refill of steak and chips š This also annoyed me as I have paid the same price for my food as everyone else but donāt get refilled? How is this fair and makes sense?
This is my second time visiting after a good experience the first time but after this visit, will not be returning again.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
We came here for bottomless brunch and our experience was traumatic and disgusting.
The service is absolutely shocking. Waitress told us all the staff were brand new and so they were being a bit slow (not her fault she was probably the best part of our experience) we were told after being served one drink our table was being watched by management and they had to watch what we were ordering (considering we were sober this was a big shock)
We explained to the manager (or who we thought was the manager ) the situation which we were issued an apology and were told they would chase our orders for food and drinks because we had been waiting for ages.
When our food order finally arrived (which was just fries and haloumi btw) another waitress slung these on the table with a face like thunder while looking at the floor. I have never EVER been made to feel so uncomfortable by staff ever in my life.
When we raised this with another member of staff, we explained that the service just simply was not good enough and it was disgusting how we were being made to feel as though we had done something wrong. When asked what our resolution would be to this situation we rightly expressed we should be given some sort of refund for ruining what was supposed to be a birthday celebration. We were told that they had a duty of care for the amount of alcohol they could give out (baring in mind we had a handful of drinks the whole time we were in there š¤£)
The member of staff then went into a back office to discuss the situation with an actual manager (that we never spoke to who made himself known) only to then be faced with 3 members of security escorting us out for abusive language being used towards staff!!
All we did was provide feedback on our experience and this was all thrown back in our faces. I really cannot see this establishment lasting very long if their staff arenāt going to take feedback about service on board.
We were not rude at all, we explained to the staff we just wanted to feel like we were being listened to, which clearly we werenāt.
Canāt comment on the mini golf as we were given the boot before we even had chance to do this.
Please do not waste your money here as they are quick enough to take it from you in booking but when something goes wrong they couldnāt care less. PLEASE AVOID!!!

Steak pie was made from the fattiest meat I've ever eaten, the price was reasonable but any amount is too much when substandard ingredients are used... On the plus side my wife enjoyed her food so I added a star to the overall rating otherwise it would have been 2 stars, I'm sure you would find somewhere nicer nearby.
An overnigth B2B during our walk of Offa's Dyke Path. Accomadtion very good and comfortable. The restaurant and bar (dogs allowed) was a fanastic setting for an eveing aroud the fire place quaffing a few beers after a long day's trek in the rain on the Offa Dyke
