Costa Coffee in Denbighshire

This is the best in the area all round and we frequently visit.

Been twice now , not very clean both times 2nd time was over charged , will not call again.

Pretty uninspiring branch of Costa, coffee and sandwich were both very average!

Great drive through we use when travelling down the A55 towards Chester, the M6 or Manchester etc or when returning back towards Caernarfon, Conwy, Bangor or Holyhead. The drive through is always quick, there is plenty of parking on site and next door ( walking distance when parked at Costa) is a subway and small supermarket. The only thing location is lacking is an EV charge point as this stop would then tick all the boxes.

Ive never seen such a tidy, well organised "behind the counter" it looked really impressive. Customer service was First class. Really appreciated my tray of coffees being carried to our table. Thank you so much you'll never know how much that meant.

3 star for food as I feel costa is starting to lag behind others for choice it was great when they started m&s sandwiches etc but now it has gone back needs new choices other than that this branch is always lovely to go to friendly helpful staff and always busy so great atmosphere

Great service,however, the toilets were dirty and without toilet roll.

We we're served closed to closing time by a staff member named Demi who served us with an excellent standard of care. I asked to see if they had anything 50% off seeing as they were closing and she replied to me with excellent customer service

If you are visiting the nearby Glan Clwyd hospital this is good place to get refreshments.

It is a very handy Costa coffee restaurant just near a bus stop and almost opposite the lovely church. I am sure most people know about the good quality of coffee and snacks on offer from Costa so no need to say.

Nipped into Costa this morning on the way to a hospital appointment. The customer service from Katie was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble. It was also great to hear all the team members helping each other. Highly recommended if you’re having a bad day!

Rather go here than our local costa in llandudno. The staff are friendly the tables are clean. The coffee is consistent which dosnt happen everywhere.

Bodelwyddan's Costa shares a car park with a Spar grocery store and Subway outlet, and this modern mini park provides a quick get-away from the rigours of long hours at Glan Clwyd Hospital which is around the corner. Easy access, clean, and well staffed, the outlet offers everything one expects from a coffee shop.

Nice place for a quick stop over and a visit to the marble church on your way to Wales

Visited on Tuesday morning due to last minute cancelled hospital appt round corner. The staff were brilliant friendly, happy to work there good team working really best team in terms of attitude I've seen for ages! Will be back

Other than getting completely ignored by the young lady that was standing no more than 5 feet away from me, and another young lady having to come over to see if my order had been taken (thankfully) it was fine.

My daughter and I are regulars the staff are first class. The guy who gave 1 star earlier has shown by his rant that he no doubt contributed.

The new Christmas drinks are are amazing I had the after eight hot chocolate and it tasted just like it i also had an after eight muffin and that was 😋 😋 😋 Also the system how they theh give you your drinks and food are amazing very robotic I called it. Went here today 03/10/2022 Ordered a takeaway hazelnut latte but disappointed cos there were no sprinkles on the top

Redeemed a free drink and bought another drink and sandwich as a breakfast deal. Was denied the breakfast deal as we had a free drink. Made no sense as we could have done in separate transactions and got the £1.55 discount. When I discussed this with the staff they were unhelpful, accused me of being rude as I didn't want to hear their inane excuses and wouldn't tell me how to escalate the complaint. Waiting to hear from head office about getting my £1.55 back I feel I am legally entitle to.

Pleasant staff, think last orders are 645pm as shuts 7pm through drive through. Cafe area shuts earlier.

Sat in. Very nice. Very under staffed had to have a take out cup. Instead of a proper cup. And had to clear the table to sit down. And the lady that served us didn't seem very happy.

Nice and spacious, clean and tidy, staff seam nice enough, somewhere to sit inside and outside with a good cop of coffee ☕️ and the drive-through was quick and easy 👌

Sadly, the operational element and opening times of this particular branch fluctuate as and when its convenient due to constant staffing issues it would appear. Open until 19:00? Absolutely not, closed at 17:42. Sit in to carry out meetings or relax? Drive thru only today sorry. Sitting down inside 'Sorry at 17:00 you need to leave' as we were in the middle of a business meeting. I genuinely feel for the staff there, clearly they are stretched but it's getting to a point where every day there is something at this particular premises. Sorry to moan but having so many disappointments in a short space of time I felt the need to vent.

Went to this costa twice while we were on holiday and the lady serving us was so lovely. Ordered 6 drinks both times and everything was perfect, she even apologised for how long it was taking which wasn’t necessary at all! I only wish I had this costa near where I live!

They seem to have constant staffing issues here. Every visit so far there's been a note fixed to the door saying they're shut the seating area die to staffing issues. For a new place it seems quite badly organised.

2nd time I've come to this store and the drive thru has been closed. Couldn't come in as the baby was asleep, specifically drove to this store as new it was drive thru. Not impressed.

Loved this drive through,short wait for coffee about 5 mins but coffee was delicious.

Lacking in staff, and floors dirty, tables cleared but not wiped down. At least sit in was allowed for a change👍. Toilets appeared cleaner than the seated area.

Always great service at the drive thru, lovely friendly people and great food and drink options. I did have a drink recently that made me think the machine was on the blink, way too milky and hardly any coffee taste, thankfully a one off though.

Did not drive through we went in to sit & have a coffee. Noticed their food hygiene was only a 3, thats not good.

Whilst the staff are pleasant I can't believe they have a hygiene rating of 3....

Called at this Costa twice over the last 3 months while visiting relatives in the area. Boths times it has said that it's drive through only due to staff shortages.

Nice coffee, but people sat at tables with empty coffee cups and trays from the people before them! My sleeves stuck to the table, so just needs a little bit more cleanliness.

Have been there a few time it was ok, tables are very sticky need to use something else to clean them with and for a new place they could do with mor staff

I'll be honest, I'm not a fan of these places but I will call by when I really need to. I have to say, I was very pleasantly surprised by this particular cafe, We only used the drive through but the lady that took our order was well spoken and helpful, I was then really caught off guard when the lady that passed me our order was just as cheery and helpful. I think I'll call through here again, perhaps when I'm not so desperate.
