The best restaurants in Wales

Lovely little Italian in the middle of ystrad mynach. Serving staff are welcoming and friendly. The cocktails are beautiful and the portions are big. Only slightly negative was the menu has shrunk considerably from our last visit! I had the pizza for a change and it was delicious.

Dinned at the Albert hall on Friday after having a great experience the previous week, what a difference in two visits Service shocking the guys spent more time outside and the food was extremely disappointing topping was 70% less than the previous visit. Very disappointing won’t be rushing back

Nuestra última visita fue en noviembre para mi padre - en - leyes 80 cumpleaños. El personal es siempre amable y estamos encantados de que decoremos la mesa con la parafernalia 80 durante la tarde. También nos permitieron dejar un pastel de cumpleaños como sorpresa para el cumpleañero. Huelga decir que la comida era espectacular y el servicio era de primera clase. En general, todos tuvimos una noche fabulosa... Muchas gracias por cuidarnos. Volveremos en mayo (aún no reservado). Esperemos que antes de que se vaya el próximo 'Amigo'. Had the yummiest doughnut ever after a walk on the beach- would 100% recommend <33

After a morning hike at Dinorwic Quarry, we were starving and looking for a good spot to eat—preferably somewhere outdoors to enjoy the sunshine. We came across Pantri, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. It was a bit busy when we arrived (just past 12 noon), but we managed to find a table outside. The vibe was great—laid-back and sunny. We ordered Eggs All Ways, Potato and Chorizo Hash, Mixed Olives, Cheesy Fries, and Hot Chocolate. The portions were generous, and everything was delicious. The Cheesy Fries were a surprise favorite—so good and full of flavor! I actually felt bad not finishing everything because we were so full and satisfied. One of my most memorable breakfast experiences, and I’m so glad we decided to stop here. Highly recommend Pantri, especially after a good hike in the area!

A fantastic cafe. Views amazing. Staff lovely. Cake and coffee the best I have tasted. You could tell they were home made. Will definitely return. We even bought some cake to take home too, it was that good.

Visited twice over the weekend for breakfast can honestly say best breakfast in the area.

People and staff very welcoming, clubhouse and views outstanding. Course was in lovely condition, greens are testing. Too many blind shots for my liking, but overall a great day out.

Excellent service. Very friendly staff. Food was amazing. We had pork roast and Llanhamlach chicken… then lemon meringue cheesecake. Would recommend it all. Diolch!

Nice little gem of a pub, this time with a nicer landlord, Food was great, four of us had different meals and no complaints, Staff were also great pleasent and smiling Service was good as well Clean all round , we'll done will come back

Went in just for takeaway drinks, staff not very pleasant didn't even acknowledge me stood at bar and made me think they didn't deserve my business. Doesn't take much to smile and be thankful to customers.
