Food was delicious. Super atmosphere. Staff were so friendly and welcoming. Couldn’t fault the service at all. The place is so much welcoming than it was in the past. Meals very reasonably priced. Will definitely be going back. Well done to everyone and thank you

We visited The Bridge following it being taken over by new management, and we were soo pleased we did. The decor is fresh and bright,and very welcoming. The food was superb. All freshly made. The creamy mushroom starter was to die for. We were that impressed we book in for the Sunday dinner.

Lovely pit stop on our travels (which seemed to be most of the clientele!) There's a fab outdoor play area, the food arrived quickly, tasted great and hit the spot. Huge portions meant that the prices were if a bit steep, decent value still. They answered the phone promptly, took a booking for us and served us well. Would have been good of them to forewarn us though about the slightly bizarrely managed car park where you have to pay £5 cash to park but then it is deducted from your bar tab in the pub so is essentially free. Be pre-warned though - because what if you don't have cash? While it makes sense with limited parking spaces, think it's important to mention here. Lastly, we have a 7lb, teeny tiny, non shedding dog who generally ends up on our laps or on the seating if we get a booth. No one in any pub in 8+years has commented on our dog being up on the seats - she doesn't really go noticed mostly. Except here we were explicitly told she had to get down on the floor. So though it is a 'dog friendly pub' perhaps not the friendliest? Again, it is an understandable 'rule' which most pubs have but few adhere to. If it's a small dog it's generally seen as not worth quibbling over but I guess for this person serving us it was.

I has very upset as I went to get food at 6:04 and we got to the bar and they said they weren’t serving food anymore because they stopped at 6:00. 4 minutes after. It was quit a disappointment.we just wanted a portion of chips. But no they couldn’t do that.

We stopped there by chance today and decided to have lunch. That was the best decision we have made for a long time. The food was exceptional and excellent value for money. We will definitely go out of our way to go there again but sooner than our last visit 50 years yes 50 years ago.

I've always passed here and never called in... it was such a wonderful pub with an open fire and an amazing pint of Guinness. The landlord was so friendly and my partner and I had a really great time chatting with him. We hope to return soon, the menu looks great 😁. Thanks 🙂.

We had Sunday Roasts and It was really tasty and the service was faultless. A gem of a place. We were last here around 25 years ago and it was great to be reacquainted with an old friend. It definitely has not lost any of its charm or integrity.

We had a family meal to celebrate an 80th birthday and it was stunning! Larry catered for every family member (20 of us) and added a personal touch with a message on the board. Staff members and the chef did an amazing job. Food was served with the children’s meals being prepared first (bonus)! The food was hot & desserts were lovely. Drinks were flowing. Overall, a fantastic experience. Highly recommend here if you’ve not been before. The menu suited everyone - if you’re after ‘pub grub’ of a high quality standard then this is the place!

The charm of the pub is in its cozy atmosphere, reminiscent of a rustic retreat. The fireplace adds an extra touch of warmth, making it a perfect spot for any occasion.

Brilliant classic home made pub food , landlord very welcoming for both adults and children. We will be coming back , different choice from drinks too.

Recently stopped for a couple of drinks in the beer garden .very friendly place the owner handed out free lolly ices to our children as it was a very hot day . Nice clean and welcoming atmosphere 👌

Already planning our next trip back! We stopped here after our trip to Park in the Past, trying to find a child and dog friendly pub often presents a problem however they couldn’t have been more accommodating. They have a great choice of indoor or outdoor seating, plus a child’s play area in one of the outdoor seating areas. We sat inside and enjoyed the hospitality. It’s refreshingly nice to go somewhere that does traditional pub food (and does it well) and isn’t trying to be a “bistro” or anything else, and serves food for more than 2 hours a day! All meals were enjoyed and accompanied with a nice cold pint! Thank you for a lovely experience. Highly recommended venue!

Met up with my brother and family who were over from USA, Food mainly good, but frozen chips, no cheese on cheeseburger, this was also supposed to come with coleslaw? Goats cheese tart was delicious but needed more balsamic vinegar. Service was very good lovely waitress. Atmosphere was dull but not the pubs fault it was a Tuesday night.

A lovely traditional Welsh pub with exceptionally welcoming and friendly management and staff. The food was delicious and the portions were huge. Highly recommend.

Really friendly staff but exceptional food. We had planned this stop on our way to Wales - when we arrived at the pub, we didnt expect much. However the lady on the bar was very pleasant and the food was incredibly well presented abs tasted fantastic. If you're passing, don't second guess going. You'll not be disappointed.

Absolutely beautiful home cooked meals. Presented fantastically and tastes even better. The chef came out to speak to us regarding our son's allergies and everything was catered for perfectly. Friendly, family-run, ample parking and with easy access. Small so booking via Facebook highly recommended. Will definitely visit again!

After driving past this pub on the way to one which turned out to be abandoned, 4 Aussie tourists returned to this very lovely Welsh pub for a splash and dash lunch before heading back into england. Less than 12 pounds for an enormous, ridiculously tender and delicious Sunday roast that arrived hot and loaded with veggies and Yorkshire pudding. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming, it made us feel awful to rush out the door as we wouldve gladly stayed there chatting and drinking until they rolled us out at close. We can't wait to come back

Amazing food, excellent beer - bootlegger lager on draught is fantastic. Really good value, freshly cooked and always piping hot food. Good portion size. Puddings if you have room are stunning, the homemade cheesecake is a legend.

Friendly local pub serving great home cooked food. Not a massive menu but good quality. Service was excellent. Has a large outdoor sheltered area for outdoor eating but we eat in the small restaurant part.

Let me start off by saying this is a good pub, good location, friendly staff, decent food and overall enjoyable experience for the price. But my god does it not make the most of its potential. Amazing cute riverside location, mostly dedicated to an empty car park. Poorly maintained lawn where it does exist. Dated menus, furniture etc all just add up to the impression this place needs little TLC. I'd happily pay 20% more, and visit more often if the bridge inn just moved up a gear. This could be a really notable destination pub/restaurant, but for now it's just a decent pub in a good location.

What a place we didn't make it in time for food but the helped us on are way with some treats for my lad thank you guys 💙
