Cracking pub - great beer and great friendly atmosphere .......a proper pub !!

Friendly atmosphere. Let me stay in his car park in my campervan, after a long drive. So long as I was spending a bit of money. Great little place on halkyn Moors and not too far from Halkyn Mountain 👍

One off the best pubs in North Wales. You can't beat a better place for real cider, plus landlord and local are friendly and welcoming. Also, the landlords son is working hard and nice to see a young lad helping out. Can't wait to return and a must If anyone is in the area Also a fish and chip van for food 😋

First visit to a quaint country old fashion pub that's dog friendly and staff are very friendly too. Outside seating and car park available serve good coffee too

Some friends and I called in for afternoon refreshments after a long walk and enjoyed the pleasant atmosphere and great service .

We were staying across the road at Orchard Farm. Popped in on our first night there. Lovely friendly Landlord called Gary. A proper pub, selling good beer, cider etc. I had the Lees bitter. Very nice. Local friendly customers who stop and talk about the history of Halkyn and recommended some great walks and places to visit. Although the Pub does no offer hot meals etc, they do a selection of freshly prepared rolls. Anyone staying around this area should pay Gary and his pub a visit.

Fantastic staff really friendly atmosphere

I went to this pub Friday 28th July 2023. There was one bartender on duty. He was welcoming, helpful and friendly. As the bar filled up I was made to feel welcome again. I can strongly recommend the West Coast IPA.......excellent beer!! The only reason I left the food review blank, is because I only had beer.

Excellent little pub. Friendly and quick service, with plenty of choice of drinks. We didn’t have food but it looked good. Nice beer garden and best of all… doggy friendly. Will definitely call in again 👍🏼🍻

Went in for drinks with friends. Spent over £100. The bar man was rude and arrogant. Will not be going back

Really nice country pub, open fire when it's cold out, sit outside when the sun shines. Pool table if you fancy a knock. All in all, very nice place.

The most incredible, real ale, good entertainment, great company, perfectly hosted pub that I have ever had the privilege and pleasure to enter! And to top it all . . . a post office as welll!!

Our guests tell us they love having the award winning Blue Bell Inn, within walking distance of our holiday apartment, Tyn Y Mynydd Bach. They always get a warm welcome and enjoy the company and the ales. Plus it's gently downhill on the way back! The free guided walks around Halkyn Mountain (starting and finishing at the Blue Bell Inn) are also very popular, as they offer an opportunity to both explore the local countryside and gain an insight into the rich history of the area.
