The Hibernia Inn in Pembrokeshire

Great pub wonderful staff, fantastic selection of drinks and food at incredibly reasonable prices. We had a very warm welcome from the staff and locals and felt instantly at home. We are in the restaurant both having prawn starter perfect. We followed with a 10oz sirloin , homemade chips , onion rings mushrooms and peas all for £22. Unfortunately the steak was overcooked, not a problem this was taken away and replaced without a fuss, and we were immediately offered complimentary drinks , that’s what I call customer service. This is everything a great pub should be , great service, food , drinks and atmosphere we will return

we booked a table for 8 ( adults and kids) at the recommendation of our rental hosts, for Sunday lunch. Absolutely outstanding experience from start to finish. Table was ready, the welcome from the landlady and staff was perfect, promptly served with drinks. We had lamb shanks, chicken, pork, beef and vegetarian cheesey brocolli. All were accompanied by ample helpings of veg. Absolutely gorgeous. As were the desserts. We couldn't recommend this place more, superb in every way.

Stoped at a nearby campsite in the village. We rang the night before to book for Sunday dinner as we were advised it gets booked up quickly. It's No wander, the food was amazing. I'm a veggie and they provided multiple choices. My partner had the beef dinner which he was more than impressed with. Everything tasted fresh and delicious. I'd highly recommend this pub even just for drinks, the staff were lovely and welcoming but the food was the highlight for us.

Great Family run pub Visited 3 times in a week Fish and Chips Hunters Chicken Sunday Lunch with pork, lamb,turkey and beef. Lovelly food large portions and great service. Huge open fire in the bar with a great welcome from the locals and land lady. Thankyou see you again.Cant' wait.

It was our first time here and we had Sunday lunch. A good selection of 4 roasts. I had pork and my husband had beef - both were delicious, tender, and in large portions. The veggies were delicious too. Pleasant and efficient staff. Great value for money. We'll definitely be back.

We stayed at globe house for a long weekend celebrating a birthday. Everything about the pub was fantastic, food, service, atmosphere and the locals. Haven't stopped telling my husband how delicious the Sunday lunch was.

Greeted warmly on arrival; choice of lamb, turkey, beef or chicken with a vegetarian alternative too! I'm coeliac so wasn't expecting much choice but was happily reassured before ordering that everything bar the Yorkshire pudding was gluten free. Meats were tender, great quality and extremely generous portions with a variety of vegetables on the side as well as gluten free gravy and cauliflower cheese in separate containers - no contamination. I could not have felt safer or more reassured! My dad is a bit of a fuss pot food wise but he ate the lot! I thoroughly recommend a visit here - Hayley and her team are so lovely, welcoming, friendly and efficient. We'll definitely be returning! Excellent value for money and service 😃

Great spot for lunch on Angle circular walk. Good value and good size portions. One of the nicest jacket potato with chilli and cheese I’ve had. Nice salad garnish. Others also enjoyed their paninis and homemade chips. Staff were friendly and service was quick.

What an amazing bar/restaurant, they were super busy and still managed to squeeze us in when we booked last minute. The rugby was on and restaurant was full, all staff were still smiling and very welcoming! We ordered sirloin steaks, they came in good time! I do apologise I forgot to take a before photo as it looked too good to eat! As you can see from the photo how tasty it was! It was served warm, with all the delicious sides, steak was seasoned to perfection! Myself having well done, sister having medium and my other sister having rear, all of which came exactly that! All of our steaks were cooked the way we liked them! Drinks kept on flowing, and the atmosphere was great! 100% recommend this restaurant, you will not receive your typical pub grub at this restaurant but a 5⭐️ quality fresh food! I have been to a lot of restaurants; Wales, England, France and Germany, the Hibernia Inn came to top 10! Don’t make a mistake by avoiding this restaurant, book now and enjoy! 😍

Fantastic chicken burger. Great bunch of people from staff to locals. Allwys up for a chat and a laugh. Seem to be putting events on all the time. Went to there Easter weekend last year and the kids really enjoyed it

We were there on holiday in a place close by. Absolutely brilliant place to eat/drink. First off they sell Worthington on tap, my absolute favourite which usually I cab pocky find in a can 4 pack in corner shops so was thrilled to see it and drink a pint. Our daughter is coeliac so usually her options are "Jacket potato " and that's it. This was absolutely not the case here. She had fish fingers which weren't, they were huge goujons and delicious. She also had gluten free wraps with a selection of 4 sauces to go with them and chicken with red peppers, onion and a sauce on top. She ate it all with a huge smile on her face. The staff were really helpful. My husband and I had pizza which was huge and so good, and we ate fish and chips and also burger and chips. I highly recommend eating here is just brilliant. Thank you to the staff for being so great.

The Hibernia team welcomed 17 of us, including lots of children for dinner last night. The food was all fantastic, generous portions (as another reviewer mentioned). Really thoughtful touches, like fidget toys and paper and crayons for the kids, real attention given to one of our party who is coeliac. All the staff were friendly and helpful, if we come back to Angle, we’d definitely book in again. Thanks Hayley and team! X

We were a group of 17 away on a family holiday, celebrating a 40th and 70th birthday. We ate here several times and the service and quality of food was top notch. Menu is varied, great quality dishes, and the staff could not have been more accommodating. Sunday roast was absolutely delicious. Plenty of options for the kids too and it was no trouble to change things on some of the dishes. Big shout out to Rose and her daughter for looking after us each night and accommodating all of us.

Family of 4 had a splendid meal there at the weekend. Generous portions, good value and great service. Well worth the visit.

We were so happy to return to Angle after a two break and see that the Hibernia had been refurbished and was thriving. We visited the Hib for Sunday lunch, Friday dinner and ordered a takeaway midweek. Food was delicious with generous portions on all accounts: roast beef, pork, lasagna, fish and chips, chicken fajitas. Atmosphere : warm and friendly, both in the bar with the lovely locals who made you feel really welcomed as well as the staff who worked there, great customer service. A real cross section of customers, families, extended families, friends, couples. Dog friendly, but make sure you say this when booking. Value for money: definitely. We sat in the restaurant near the bar, so could hear many satisfied customers as they paid their bill. Finally I would recommend booking, particular on weekends, during the holiday season. .

Always try to get here when we're in Pembrokeshire for a week or more, never let's us down. Great food, great staff great value. It's 25 miles away from our caravan but well worth the journey, my wife absolutely loves the cream cheese and broccoli bake, and the steak, gammon and Hunters chicken are first class, sometimes they have a chicken breast with cheese and leak sauce which is great too as is the tempura prawn starter with a lovely sweet chilli dip. Thoroughly recommended.

Family meal for eight, first time sat outside, the meal was so nice we went back the next day for tea. The fish&chips, lasagne,tagline,loaded fries and kids burgers were all delicious 😋, we intend on trying out other meals on the menu, the hunters chicken looks yummy. All staff were so lovely and friendly, and the puddings were very tasty indeed. Highly recommended local pub, who serve a lovely pint of Guinness 👍

Visited the hib tonight with a friend as it was the pubs/village annual race night. We had food which was a generous amount and delicious. All staff were polite and welcoming. It was great to see a good turn out and friendly atmosphere all round. Would most definitely recommend this place.

This pub is a little gem. Staff are friendly and welcoming. The food is excellent and the portion sizes are very generous.

We ate here many times on our holiday, it's a great place to go. The staff are fantastic and went above and beyond for our large group on every occasion and my little dog was also welcomed in! The food is excellent with decent portions and very reasonably priced. Highly recommended!
