Mulberry in Pembrokeshire

A very tasty well presented meal, with excellent service. We booked this at late notice due to our original restaurant closing due to sickness. Starters and mains were tasty and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Thank you.

My partner and I had a wonderful meal for his birthday last Friday night. Great staff especially the waiter who served us, so polite and welcoming. We had garlic bread to start then we both had the chicken bhuna which was delicious. The homemade bread rolls were lovely. We enjoyed it so much that we went back again the next night and I had the duck breast and my partner had the lamb. The clean plates said it all. The presentation of the food is top class. Will definitely be back if we are in the area.

The food was outstanding, lovely scallops and prawns, my wife enjoyed her 2 starters as a main followed by a lovely pannacotta.

This visit was a birthday present from friends and we’re really impressed. The food was first class - the bhuna curry, scallops and prawns, and the duck dishes were superb. As for the puddings - amazing ! The service as also excellent.

Amazing and devious food at good prices. Lots of choice with veg and potatoes not just chips, peas and salad leaves!! Going again on next visit. It was my birthday and best meal of our week away

The worst thing was …. Had I known dogs were allowed in the restaurant… I would not have gone. I had a table booked at 8 pm and I had to eat up and go or carry on sneezing with allergies Shame as food and wine was good

We had a New YEars even dinner here, both 2023 & 2024. Absolutely amazing. 7 adults, ordering starters, mains, sides, desserts, cocktails and drinks. Everything was perfect, nothing was too much trouble. every dish piping hot and no long waits. How the chefs do it, I don’t know, considering every table was full. The staff are a credit, always smiling and helpful. We all agreed the food was so tasty, with lots of great choice. Really made our night.❤️.png

We called in on New Year’s Day without a reservation but the staff were able to accommodate us immediately. The restaurant has a lovely intimate atmosphere and is especially suitable for winters evenings. The food is well presented and we had an excellent meal. The prices are reasonable too, about £40 per head for three courses and a round of drinks. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The star off the show was Jess, our waitress, who was quite creative in her suggestions as to how the meals like to be presented. She has a bright future in hospitality I suspect. All in all, a lovely meal and occasion. We will be back.

The only thing that ruined this experience was a member of staff who spoke very loudly and was constantly talking to another member of staff.

They employ a predatory company to charge you £100 for parking behind their pub.

We enjoyed our tapas lunch here. The staff were friendly and the food was well cooked. The only disappointment was the serrano ham dish, which was just plain English sliced supermarket ham for some reason. The prawns and calamari were very good. Above all their home made gluten free bread was the best I have ever tasted. Great atmosphere, dog friendly, highly recommended.

We hadn’t been here for years so decided to give it a try.pleasant staff and a good choice of meals.we chose scallops and prawns in chilli sauce. And I had goats cheese and veg torte with chips.it was delicious.great prices compared to Tenby restaurants.

Excellent food and service. We’d never been to this restaurant previously and went to celebrate our eldest daughter’s birthday. Reviews were good so we opted this restaurant instead of others in Saundersfoot. So glad we did, a really good all round experience.

Visited this local restaurant on a Saturday night & everything from the minute we arrived was superb. Chilly evening outside & the heating was on making it very comfortable to sit. The waiter / waitress were very friendly & all round service slick & efficient. Food choice was great & all four meals were cooked / presented & tasted superb. This place went over & above by providing a cheese sharing platter ( not even on the menu !! ) Nothing was too much trouble & we will defo be returning soon. Thanks guys for a great night…

This is our 3rd visit to Saundersfoot this year and we’ve ate here each time. Food and service is always excellent. Very friendly staff, nice atmosphere and welcoming. Prices are reasonable and it a very varied menu. Highly recommend

Wonderful evening at The Mulberry. The service, the food and the ambiance were excellent. The duck and the monkfish were particularly delicious and we sit here awaiting a sticky toffee pudding for desert. We echo others in our opinion of the outside - the outside aesthetics don’t do the place justice!!! Don’t let this put you off!!! Never judge a book by its cover!!! We also loved the cute little dog water bowls left around the place! Thank you to all those who served us (we think perhaps all family?) - you are all lovely genuine people! :-)

We were highly recommend this beautiful restaurant by a friend and it didn't disappoint us. The food was amazing and a fantastic menu to choose off. We were a rather large table and the service was excellent. Absolutely recommend to book a table and we will definitely be going back.

Absolutely amazing from start to finish, great friendly service, comfy surroundings and most importantly food was amazing. Perfect portions, mouth watering with a multitude of tastes to wow the tastebuds. From the goats cheese and hollumi starters to the Rossini and fillet steak, everything cooked and presented to perfection. Thank you so much, and see you soon.

Our party of 4 had 3 different mains Curry which was one of the best, fish and chips and fish cake . The meals were very generous and of excellent quality. Service was very good and the benefit of a car park enhanced the experience. The last time we had visited was many years ago when it was called The Lighthouse, would have no hesitation in recommending The Mulberry.

We had a lovely meal, very tasty dishes. Never heard about aloo tikki. Very nice plate of joy. I like spiced dishes so I had monkfish with green Thai curry, cummin rice. My friends also enjoyed their meals. But it's too many explain. Front of house staff was very pleasant. Highly recommend restaurant the mullberry

I took my family here for a treat. And a treat it was! Amazing flavours and presentation of the meals, I can still taste it and makes my mouth water thinking about it. Great atmosphere not surprised it’s busy going by what’s on offer.credit to the chefs. We will be back as soon as possible.**AAA**

We returned to our go to restaurant in saundersfoot after a year and it’s even better then before. We arrived on the Saturday with our table booked at 8pm and it was super busy. The staff was very polite and seated us straight away. Our drinks arrived and we ordered our food, I had fillet steak and my partner had the monkfish, hot plates and the food was so delicious. the atmosphere was great and we can’t wait to visit again Thanks to all the staff at the mulberry

My family and I were all so impressed by this place that I am going to do a rare thing and offer some advice to them: Improve the front of your restaurant. Redo the sign, put something other than wooden picnic benches. Make it look as good outside as it deserves. Inside it is absolutely gorgeous, with wooden beams everywhere, making it kind of feel like you're in a boat. Outside it looks like a nail salon. That aside, really excellent food and the waiter was absolutely lovely. Earned a tip. Couldn't recommend more.

Great restaurant and dog friendly. We ate haloumi cheese balls, confit duck salad, rast topside of beef & braised shoulder of Preseli lamb.

This place might not look like much from the outside, but inside it is beautifully decorated and cosy. The food is absolutely delicious. Almost everything on the menu is gluten free, a real treat for a coeliac! The scallops melted in your mouth and the cardamom panacotta was delicious. My family were all equally as impressed with their own choices. The food took a little while to arrive, but given how tasty it was we soon forgot about that! Staff were sweet and helpful. Highly recommend.

I've always fancied going to the Mulberry throughout the decades I've lived in the area. I don't think I could've picked a better time. The restaurant looks small from the outside, but it's a bit of a Tardis. It has 4 spaces within. 3 to eat, and the bar area to enjoy a drink. Entering the restaurant we were met by a staff member to welcome us and show us to our table. The timing of staff from taking our drinks order, right through to ordering our dessert was perfect. There was a little wait for the dessert, but was expected, as they were very busy. This restaurant know what they're doing. The service is top notch. The restaurant has fab character. From the exposed stonework, wood beams, the lighting, rustic bar, and open plan kitchen, which was handy, to thank the kitchen staff as I passed by. Now the good bit. The Food! Wow! and yum! And fresh! Perfect portions to enjoy every course, and a great menu! Just eat it. I can't wait to visit again. I found the ambience very relaxed. The background music was a tad cheesy, but it kept me entertained as I 'air' serenaded to my husband :) I would've liked a Malbec on the wine by glass menu, but there were plenty others to choose from. The front of the property has loads of potential, I hope the team enhance that for next season. The food and service is second to none. I've not enjoyed a dining experience like that in forever!

Thank you to Suman Yadav and her excellent staff for a superb meal earlier tonight. My wife had the Pate starter and I had the Prawn Cocktail - yummy food, well presented and fresh and full of flavour. For the main course my wife had Chicken supreme with crushed new potatoes with leeks and broccoli. She said it was simply divine. I went for the steak/chips/mushrooms/onion rings and a pepper sauce. Steak cooked to perfection and everything tasted really good. Food was hot and served in a timely manner by some of the warmest and most friendly staff we have ever met. Congratulations Suman you have an outstanding restaurant and some wonderful staff. We totally recommend anyone looking for a fine meal out to try this restaurant it is certainly the best we have eaten in yet in the Saundersfoot area. The ambience of the restaurant was lovely and the menu choices were such that anyone could choose a fine meal. Brilliant and 5 stars form us. The wine list was also good in case you were wondering. We live in Pembrokeshire but rarely eat out. We had a visitor who wanted to take us out for a meal and asked us to recommend a restaurant. We just took pot luck on The Mulberry and it was fantastic! 2 days later we had another visitor who wanted to take us out. (lucky us) I did suggest other places to her but I had waxed lyrical about The Mulberry and she wanted to go there. Again, another 5 star meal. Thank you so much.

A prime spot in Saundersfoot. Unfortunately the patio was filthy with litter dirt and cigarette butts. My dog got up and was covered in debris.

Lovely food 🍲 and excellent service

The filet steak and Madeira sauce is to die for. Steak cooked to perfection and just pulled apart, no need for a steak knife. That sauce is another level. Family of 8 eating and all the food was top level. Restaurant needs an update but the food speaks for itself.

Booked a Sunday lunch here for nine adults, also had a small dog. The restaurant has a number of car parking spaces in which we were lucky enough find space for all three cars and there is also a large car park at the rear of the premises. Good start and it got better and better. We were made very welcome and taken to our table and given menus. Drinks orders were taken almost immediately. It was extremely busy but the drinks arrived shortly and the meals orders were taken. They arrived after a very reasonable time , all individual requests having been exactly met. The portions were very good and any requests for extra items were promptly met. The food was well presented and deliciously cooked and was rated by the family as one of the best Sunday lunches you could buy. The service at all times and by every member of staff was faultless, every one was smiling and polite. Top marks to everybody concerned, it would be nice if we lived nearer and could patronise it more often.

The food here was incredible. We had King Prawns for starters followed by a very good Monk Fish Green curry for my partner. I had a 5 star Chicken Bhuna! I have not tasted one this good for a very long time from anywhere. There is a wide range of food served here to cater for all! The curry is served spicy as I believe the way its cooked is incorporated into the sauce means we get an authetic 5 star curry! I cannot recommend it enough. I guess they could add cream for those who do not like spice (but don't ruin such an incredible curry). If you want authentic, have it their way. Thank you for such a good meal

Thankfully we were able to book at short notice. On arrival we were shown to our table, given menus and asked for our drinks order. A young lad took our order, he was very polite and soon our drinks arrived at which point we ordered our food. A nice selection on the menu of traditional English type foods and currys .With both Vegetarian and GF options as well as GF options on request on some of the standard dishes. I had Chicken Bhuna curry served with Cumin rice and accompaniments, the ladies had Slow cooked confit duck, sautéed potatoes, red cabbage and jus. Son in law had Duck Breast, crushed new potato,sticky red cabbage, glazed carrots with a Jus. Grandson had a child's portion of spag bol. All came together at the same time. The food was all very tasty and well served, although the portions of vegetables were a bit parsimonious. As you can see from my Chicken Bhuna while nicely presented but it was bereft of any vegetables I don't remember seeing even a bit of onion, taste wise it was mildly spicy and just right for my palate, the accompaniments consisted of 1/2 a papadom and small amount of mango chutney again somewhat parsimonious. Desserts were ordered and again were all very nice. Drinks served were at an appropriate temperature. The waiter who brought our food was also very polite and attentive without being sat on our shoulders. All in all a good evening was had by all.

Visited as a family group for Sunday lunch. We didn’t have a booking but managed to fit us in. The food was delicious, the wait was around 40 minutes but well worth it! The lamb was melt in the mouth, everything was well flavoured. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

We have dined and lunched many times over the years and have never been disappointed! Food and friendliness of staff quite superb.

Booked this restaurant for 7 people and 2 dogs to have dinner in the last night of our family holiday. Fabulous food arrived altogether and piping hot. A very varied menu, a bit pricey considering 3 children made up the party, but the food was very well cooked, tasty, and good portions, so worth the money in my view . It looks small from the outside, but big inside with a roomy layout, and very clean, with good ambience. Would definitely eat their again and recommend this venue as a good dining experience.

Absolutely loved The Mulberry. We were on holiday and Mulberry had been recommended. The Restaurant is so quirky, different levels a lovely atmosphere and bonus they had an area for people who want to bring their dog. Food was delicious, staff were attentive and friendly Bit pricey but well worth the money💰. As a treat whilst you are on holiday it's just perfect👌. I would definitely recommend The Mulberry and if we are ever up that way again we would definitely book a table. 5 ***** from us. The Mulberry, Saundersfoot, give it a try.

Absolutely delicious food and wonderful service our only negative is that we have to go back to Cambridgeshire and will not be able to eat here for ages. Its a lovely restaurant and the staff are friendly and attentive.

Nice food here, got the Thai monk fish and really enjoyed it. The cardamon panacotta was a really nice dessert too. The staff were very attentive and proud of their food and service. If I'm being picky then monk fish was probably a small portion. The fresh bread rolls were a really nice touch too, we'll definitely come back.

My partner I had a lovely evening. It was a special treat to end our weeks stay in Saundersfoot. We had the monkfish, sticky toffee pudding with rose Zinfandel wine. We found everything to be so delicious, tasty and beautifully presented! The service was faultless. The staff friendly and attentive. We were very happy we found this gem of a place. It was a perfect end to our holiday.

Had a wonderful Sunday lunch at The Mulberry this May. We were warmly welcomed on arrival despite being a little late. The restaurant was clean and uncluttered with limited free parking at the rear. The service was relaxed and not hurried, which was a pleasant change compared to other places. A good selection of starters were offered and I recommend the Tomato and Basil Soup with warm bread rolls. The Presili lamb was simply stunning with a good selection of veg. Other's in our company, including a a 7 year old and 3 year old, stated their beef was equally delicious. Desserts were equally enjoyable. My Apple & Almond cake with vanilla ice cream was scrumptious and completed the meal.. The atmosphere was laid back and just had a nice chilled feel to it even though the staff were very attentive and busy. Prices were reasonable and we are looking forward to visiting again. Many thanks Mr Kumar and to all your team for a most enjoyable start to our holiday.

Visited for Sunday lunch - fixed menu, nonetheless a good selection across all courses. All courses served promptly & in a timely manner. All staff found to be friendly and attentive. Will be going back when in Saundersfoot visiting family & friends.

Find it unacceptable to have spent over £250 in the restaurant for them to tell us that there card machines not working and to go next door to Tesco and get the cash out luckily for me I did have a cash card with me as I normally use my phone won’t be going back anytime soon

It was absolutely delicious, I had prawn and scallops' main meal. The only reason I put 4 stars for atmosphere was because there weren't many other customers

Stunning meal from start to finish, my partner had the halloumi cheese balls in curry sauce which was too good not to share. I requested some garlic sauce with my main which the chef kindly made fresh for me this was stunning and complement the steak perfectly. The food here is complimented by lovely staff and service. They couldn’t do enough for us. We spent time after our meal working through their cocktail menu (which is fantastic) such a lovely chilled atmosphere 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be returning

Excellent dinner with really friendly and helpful staff, there is a good atmosphere with pleasant music, I had a sirloin steak and my wife a curry both delicious, we have been here many times and will come again. There is a small carpark at the side or a large public one at the rear.

We had a great evening celebrating a family birthday. The restaurant had a lovely ambience. During our stay at Saundersfoot we visited the mulberry at the recommendation of the accommodation we were staying at as the best Sunday lunch in Saundersfoot. Sunday lunch was 1st Class food and 1st Class service and undoubtedly the best Sunday roast we have ever had. Following this we booked for an evening meal which didn’t disappoint, Fillet steak cooked to perfection, lamb shank with the most amazing jus. It’s a must if visiting the area and highly recommended! Special mention to all the staff who deliver exceptional service!

Delicious food, cosy atmosphere and welcoming staff! Even put a candle in my panna cotta for my birthday and wiped the cost of the dessert from the bill!
