Lovely Sunday lunch with friends. It’s not cheap but the whole experience makes it a real treat. Friendly attentive staff too

Stunning Sunday lunch, one of the best I’ve had in recent times. Mixed fruit crumble and custard was nice but I wasn’t sure what fruit it was, possibly a little too sweet. Great friendly attentive staff. I look forward to calling again for Sunday lunch.

Bottomless brunch was amazing. Food faultless. But our waitress made our experience top class, Grace. A asset to your company.

Came here on a weekday lunchtime and there was only 5 tables, so very empty. I ordered an Aperol spritz and my friend ordered a Mojito with less ice. The aperol came with far too much ice and clearly a tactic to make you think your drink is large, definitely not the right alcohol measurements - just tasted like water. The mojito came with far too much ice and clearly our requestes weren't listened to. I ordered the steak and fries and I wasn't asked if I would like it to be cooked to how I would like which I found strange. I asked for medium rare and it came very well done. I was then told I couldn't send it back as ‘this type of steak can’t be cooked like that.’ Why would you have steak on a menu and not let customers choose how it is cooked? Extremely overpriced restaurant with poor standard of food. I ordered a different meal and by the time it arrived my friend had completed finished hers. The customer service was terrible, the waitress was avoiding eye contact with us and would never come over to us to check on us. We had no apologies and no offer of anything complimentary or anything off the bill. We paid £45 for watered down cocktails, shabby food and bad service! Clearly this restaurant is designed for customers to take photos of the decor and have an overpriced night out. Would not recommend.

Such a beautiful place, good vibe stunning decor and the waitress becca was spot on, it was our first time going out for a while as we have 3 children and couldnt have picked a lovelier place to go, will defo be going again.

We had the lovely Christmas dinner at the Forbidden Florist on 27th December, family had driven from Leeds and Birmingham to be with us and everything from the hosting (Charley), cocktails, beers, starters and mains (especially those with allergies) was perfect. Would definitely recommend for anyone in Pembrokeshire or travelling through. 10 out of 10!

We stayed at bluestone resort for a mid week break for our daughter's birthday and booked the forbidden florist for her birthday meal and it was brilliant!!! The staff were all very good, in particular the lady that served us, her name escapes me but she told us she was four months pregnant and she did everything to accommodate us, great service! The food was excellent and the portion of the pasta that we got our daughter (kids at free on day we attended) was massive, she thoroughly enjoyed it and it's done her for lunch the next day too. I got the chicken burger and chips, which I couldn't finish as there were 3 breaded breasts of chicken in there and after having the baked camembert and bread starter I realised my eyes were bigger than my belly, not literally of course lol. The Mrs got the lamb chops with minted barbeque gravy, mash and veg and said it was delicious. We both got a cocktail, which again was very good and overall it came to 69 pounds or thereabouts. The decorations and faux flowers made for a lovely backdrop and some lovely pictures too. Were from London and I can tell you that if this restaurant was in London they would make an absolute killing and they could get away with charging even more, especially for the Instagram generation and these 'influencers' whom would the backgrounds to their poncey posing pictures. Great place, a must in my opinion if you go bluestone or you're in the vicinity of haverford west. Absolutely lovely.

The food here was the best I've had in a long time. We had the smash burger and the chicken burger and swapped chunky fries for skin on fries. Absolutely delicious, we couldn't stop ooing and ahing the whole meal. Burgers came with an onion ring, side salad with tasty dressing and small pot of coleslaw. So good I might go again tonight! Finally our waiter was charming, I wish I could remember his name.

Hattie was an amazing server, went out the way and provided an amazing service!!

Found this little treasure by chance , whilst staying Slebech Park. All i can say is WOW 👌 the place is beautiful. The staff are all polite , friendly and extremely attentive. We came from Bridgend ( wish we had them back home ) We took a chance on a walk in , it was about 6pm. Thank goodness we did. We had short rib , Duck for mains , millionaire , and crumble for deserts. Could not fault any of it. All 4 of us were in food heaven. Would definitely recommend this restaurant. Thank you to ALL the staff for making a wonderful night. X

Absolute A* for effort on last nights service... From start to finish the service was above and beyond, from the table service to, helping us find the owner of a car blocking the only wheelchair access to the site to staff going outside to help direct my parent around the building 🙏🏻😁... Cocktail menu on point 👌🏻 The food was so good I forgot to take photo, but I highly recommend the short ribs,insane 🤯, also you might think the starters are bit over priced compared to normal but your wrong, because the quality and quantity was on par with price point, highly recommended the camemert sharer, halloumi fried and tempura prawns. Sadly we didn't get to try out and desserts as we had birthday cake but the list looks delicious. Thank you for making our night forbidden florist, until next time 😊👏🏻

This is the second time I have been to FF and it was equally as good as the first time. I went on a works event the first time and with a friend the second. Food was lovely, atmosphere was great and attentive service. I'm looking forward to going back.

Really nice meal … went early so it was quiet but started filling up as we left .. this was a Wednesday I think.. service good.. food I’d really good enjoyed Caesar salad and port belly .. worth a visit .. not extortionate but not the cheapest either .. £60-65 quid with a shared starter and a bottle of white ..

We visited for Sunday lunch and were really impressed! We weren’t sure if it would be a ‘style over substance’ kind of place (the decor is an instagrammer’s dream!), but the food was super tasty (good size portions too) and staff were friendly. It is more expensive than other local restaurants, but we felt like the price matched the experience. Would definitely visit again!

Visited on a busy Saturday night, service was great but the team looked incredibly busy throughout. The pork belly was good but fairly dry so could do with more of the sauce, the chicken curry was okay, not hugely flavourful. Overall a good meal and the atmosphere was lively, however I think a few small tweaks could be made to bring the restaurant up to a 5⭐️ as it seems more thought has been put into the decor than the food itself

A nice place to eat. Had an evening meal. Food was good (sea bass and burgers) and it was good value. All the staff were very pleasant.

We absolutely loved this place, the food was delicious, the cocktails were amazing and the staff were really friendly and helpful. Couldn’t recommend more. We took our puppy with us and they were really accommodating. Great rest

We visited the restaurant for the first time on a Saturday night which probably wasn't the best time to visit as it was very busy. Between the four of us we tried ribs, sea bass, scallops, belly pork, shrimps and puddings. The menu is varied and interesting and I guess you could call it Mediterranean. Taste, portions and presentation was good. The only downside was that the service was slow and this extended the evening far longer than we wanted.

Very friendly staff, food was amazing, the restaurant is very good, with 4 birdcage style booths hung with flowers and tables and more booths around the edge.

I took my friend out for a birthday lunch. We had a lovely time lovely food and service. Cocktail was amazing. Weather was lovely so they partially opened the roof 🌞 Looking forward to our next visit! Highly recommended.

The decor and the atmosphere make this place really special, but the food is also great! A level above pub food but still crowd pleasing. The presentation of the food and drink is done well too, the kids loved the mocktails! The staff are friendly and efficient too. Definitely coming back!

I have wanted to go for a while and it certainly didn’t disappoint, me and my friend went for the bottomless brunch, the food and cocktails were fabulous, the staff very welcoming and pleasant, couldn’t do enough for us, and the decor was amazing for those extra special photos, making memories 🍹 🥂

On the spur of the moment, light lunch. What a lovely place to eat. Right on the river, sun shining, cold beer, great food, excellent company, and a fabulous server. We loved the experience. Definitely coming here again, in fact we have made plans to eat here in the evening next week. The food is amazing, so tasty and arrives piping hot. We has the parmesan and truffle chips and the mushrooms... oh my... :0) Great choice and reasonable price. 10/10

Our family are regular attendees and are yet to have a bad experience. The Food is always of a high quality and plenty of it. It has a bustling atmosphere which is just right, not to loud but not to quiet. The service is always great, tonight we were served by Rebecca but all the other staff are just as pleasant and helpful. Overall a great dining experience.

Had a great Sunday roast here and the staff were great too.

We visited on holiday in West Wales and had a fantastic evening. Gorgeous, fun decor and the food was delicious - great steak, tasty pork burger with sides well done. Their sticky toffee pudding was incredible, the best I’ve had in years, and my husband really enjoyed the frozen millionaires shortbread. The team went above and beyond - we’d got a flat tyre just as we arrived and not only did we get a great meal out but Becca the hostess also sorted several mechanics locally to help us out, looked after us charging our phones and making sure we still had a fun night despite the chaos. I’d really recommend this restaurant, the staff really care and provide a great service.

The food was incredible, the atmosphere perfect, and the team were attentive and efficient. I honestly can’t fault it, best thing to happen to the town centre here for a long time.

Me and my partner came in for a bottomless brunch for my birthday and I can’t fault it at all it was amazing, the two staff that were servings us are so friendly and welcoming, the place is stunning also! We both had the smash burgers for food and it was delicious! And we both had bottomless and the staff were always on top of making sure we had a drink and the drinks were amazing too! Overall it was the best bottomless brunch I’ve had in Pembrokeshire! And we will definitely be coming back to try the steak night soon ☺️!

Nice looking place but the food was a bit underwhelming. The veggie ciabatta was good but the steak was a bit overcooked.

Great food , lovely ambiance and excellent service . Went here for dinner one evening while in the area to visit Skomer Island. The decor is lovely and very inviting. We found the food to be very good and the icing on the cake was the lovely waitress that looked after us (Ri) as she could not have been more welcoming or friendly. Overall a lovely evening and well worth checking it out

Excellent service from waiting staff, in particularly the guy with a goatee who impressed us with his ability to remember 8 different food and drink orders without writing it down! Didn't forget a thing! Really friendly staff, didn't wait long for our food to arrive and we were frequently asked if everything was ok or if we needed anymore drinks etc. A fantastic choice of venue for celebrating my birthday and we will all definitely return. On a day trip to Haverfordwest we came across this place just 30 mins before we were due back on the bus when we were walking along the riverside so only had time for a drink. It just blew us all away with it's fabulous and stylish decoration so we had to go in, if only for a drink to enjoy the ambiance of the place. We had a very warm welcome and wished we had found it earlier to have had our lunch there. Sadly this place is on it's own and a one off so not part of a chain as it would be a very well addition to any town and would be very successful and add to the visitor numbers of any town and it would not out of place in any of the country's big cities. In effect, it deserves to be better located than in Haverfordwest which is not any sort of a memorable town and the only reason I would go back is to visit Forbidden Florist. Consequently, I'm spreading news of this hidden gem to all of my friends on Facebook as it truly deserves to be elevated in the category of places to eat and drink for being so fabulous.

Came with our 2 grown up kids to celebrate our 33rd wedding anniversary. With 2 GF people it could have been a challenge, but the food was amazing, and everyone was catered for wonderfully. The GF Burgers were excellent and the effort that went into making the floater coffee was amazing - great job to everyone. Our server was lovely, nothing was too much trouble and she was very knowledgable. I liked the fact that all the staff were talking to each other and seemed really happy with the vibe. It was packed with people from all age groups and overall the experience was very good. Will definitely be coming back!

My husband and I celebrated our Silver Wedding Anniversary with a meal at this exquisite restaurant. The ambience of the place is stunning. Our table which had stunning views over the Cleddau River was styled in a birdcage setting beneath a floral tree. The waiter named Shaky treated us like royalty and the sumptuous meal was certainly fit for the king. I cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough! We visited this restaurant on a weekend trip away and it did not disappoint! They have thought of everything the decor is gorgeous! Food was amazing, huge portions and amazing value for money! The only criticism we have is that the portions were maybe a little too big, we were hoping to do the 3 course Sunday lunch but had no room for dessert. Cocktails were fantastic and made by “shaker” who was very attentive, made us feel extremely welcome and ensured we had everything we needed☺️ Would highly recommend this little hidden gem to anyone visiting Haverfordwest😍💐

Excellent, reasonably priced food in a very attractive and quite unusual environment. The waiting staff couldn't have been more helpful, the food arrived piping hot and in good time. The whole experience was most enjoyable. I would highly recommend the place, and will return to sample different items on the interesting and varied menu.

Had a wonderful afternoon at the Florist. 18 females celebrating a friends birthday. The atmosphere was wonderful, food was excellent as was the service - a big thank you to our very attentive South African waiter(sorry didn't get his name) who went above and beyond to make our experience so enjoyable. We will be back !

Lovely restaurant and atmosphere. I came here with a friend and our toddlers. Our main server was very attentive with the children, providing extra pillows to ensure they were comfy in the high chairs, which was a lovely touch. She also came over to play with them when they were getting impatient and restless. Brilliant service 😊

First time here after hearing great reviews of the place and we weren't disappointed. Lovely atmosphere and the decor was refreshingly different to what you normally find in a Haverfordwest eatery. Very friendly staff, attentive and chatty and even gave us more bread to eat with our starter without charging us for it. Food was well presented, really tasty and value for money. Good variety on the menu and nice to see so many 0% alcohol drinks.

An elegantly decorated place. The washrooms are clean, and like the whole restaurant carries an elegant and chic feel. We were served drinks very quickly but the main meal took a little bit longer. All around the service was amazing and such a relaxed atmosphere throughout. Lots of deals throughout the week too bar saturday! Definetely coming again!!!

We came here for a Sunday lunch on Mother’s Day. We all had a lovely time! The service was really friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! Generous portions and all cooked to perfection. Can definitely recommend the pork belly bites as a starter, in particular! The free glass of Prosecco for the mothers was a lovely extra touch! The flower themed decor throughout the restaurant is impressive and there was a great atmosphere with a buzz.

Had a fantastic lunch here today. I had the Caesar salad that was one of the best I've had. The staff were attentive and friendly. I can't wait to come back and try the cocktails!

Four friends celebrating a birthday. We had a lovely meal. Olives and chorizo bites were a yummy appetiser. The pork belly was excellently cooked. The piri piri chicken was delicious and the cheesecake and ice cream finished the meal off brilliantly. We enjoyed trying 9 different cocktails and mocktails between us, all looked amazing and tasted even better. The lady who served us was so lovely, friendly and helpful. We will hopefully be able to return soon. 😀

The decor and cocktails were absolutely fantastic. But the same can't be said for the food or the service. The pea tagliatelle was the most bland thing I've ever eaten, and the poached eggs were overcooked. We waited 10 minutes to be seated while the waitress chatted with her friends, and our food took over 40 minutes to come. If you want good drinks with friends, it's definitely worth the trip, but avoid the food.

First visit after hearing great reviews, did not disappoint venue is quirky and unusual. Service and food was top notch - will definitely be going back soon.

What can I say. It was brilliant. Amazing place. Service great. Above all the food we had a Sunday roast and it was Probally one of the best we’ve had. It was awesome. Thank you we will be back.

Staff here are lovely and Shelly in particular was really helpful and always made sure we had a drink in front of us! Bottomless brunch food is great and the price for it makes it even more better! Only thing I wish was that cocktails like strawberry daiquiri and such was included in the bottomless brunch but you can still order these cocktails alongside your bottomless brunch!

Went for the bottomless brunch and was brilliant... was served by Shekhar and he was great. Kept the drinks coming, recommended us drinks to try, was very welcoming and just an all round top guy. Beautifully decorated the food was amazing it came in a reasonable amount of time and hot , the staff were friendly and professional. Could have had a special brunch menu for Valentine’s Day that would have been nice but the food we had was great!!
