Wow what a find. We went back thereafter a castle visit. Had a lovely hearty Welsh stew and I had crumble and hubby had choc cake and custard. Milk shakes too. Karen and team v v welcoming and made a pair of holiday makers v happy. If you like a good homecooked meal go give them a try. GF options excellent too

Had spaghetti bolognese and margherita pizza here. Excellent value for money as the dishes they serve are plentiful. A plethora of drinks to choose from to go with your meal. Service is top notch -- haven't ever had to wait long for my food to be served. If you haven't booked, they will still try to reserve you a table (unless if it is busy that day). Overall, an unbeatable experience with food that outclasses everything else in Brynmawr.
Last night: Chips good, fish excellent. Chicken curry (which I had enjoyed a week ago) disappointing. 5 small bits of chicken, a few peas and a teaspoonful of onion swilling around in a very thin sauce. It tasted OK but I won't have it again.

It only loses a star for not having a baby change on site. Otherwise this is going to be a must pit stop for every holiday. They catered perfectly for our dairy intolerance- bringing out packaging to double check. Excellent food, service, choices, it was so clean & friendly. Baby high chair available.

We had a great time on our cocktail masterclass at Bootlegger. Kat was brilliant at running the session and made sure we were all having a good time. Would recommend!
CLOSED AS OF 24.07.24.
We were booked for 10.08.24 and have just received an email informing us that, unfortunately, they have just ceased trading and so have had to cancel our booking.
For years this had been one of our favourite cafes in Tenby. Good service, friendly cheerful staff, lovely food and a welcoming atmosphere. However, this has all changed. We visited in December and were directed to a table. 35 minutes later we decided to leave as we hadn’t been even offered a drink. Maybe a blip, We decided to return in February. Again we were only served after 25 minutes and a quarter of an hour later our food arrived delivered by a dour faced waitress. My order of cauliflower soup sounded really tasty but it was inedible. It was really bitter and little other flavour than watered cumin. We explained the problem to a member of staff who asked if I would like something else to eat. I declined. I would have given a one star rating but my wife enjoyed her meal and although there was no apology, they said they would not charge for mine or my wife’s meal. Needles to say, we will not be returning, which is a shame because this used to be a lovely little cafe.
Found this takeaway tucked away behind our hotel and, based on previous reviews, had high hopes. Staff were very nice with an efficient ticket system to allow for queues. Got our fish and chips and took them to eat on the prom - fish was just OK, nothing more with very greasy batter. The chips were some of the worst we have had, again very greasy and stuck together under the fish. Maybe we just picked a bad night but we expected better - at least the seagulls had a good feed!
