Second visit to Bella e Buona, first lunchtime visit. The food is delicious, great portion sizes, service is quick and lunchtime menu price was great value. The lemon cheesecake was absolutely gorgeous. We will be back.

Great experiance, honestly service was sharp, food was yummy, portions where great atmosphere was beautiful and warm (maybe just a tad too warm however we did sit right next to a radiator). Highly recommend. 😊

Visited on a Tuesday evening, so probably not their busiest time, but was great all around. Food was cooked great, the 2 girls serving were good. Couldn’t ask for much more.

After walking into Bella e buona, I was instantly overwhelmed by the stunning art that was on display. Not even 2 seconds after walking in, my myself and my prestigious party were seated in an area like no other. The options seemed endless, and the deals were incredible. However, after much consideration, I chose the guiseppe, one of the most delicious pizzas I’ve ever eaten. After only 10 minutes, the starters, calamari and garlic bread, had arrived. Taking a bite of both of them took me on a tastebud trip I’ve never experienced before. The squid tasted like it was fresh from the ocean and the garlic bread was the perfect ratio of garlic to dough. They were off to a good start. But the mains, coming not too soon after, blew my brains out. The portion size was too big if anything, but every bite was better than the last. I wish I had a bigger appetite as after eating my devilishly delicious pizza, my party had left some of their bolegnase, and after much consideration, I left it. The dessert menu was huge; the variety was fantastic.Ranging from ice cream to tiramisu, it was great. A real shame my pizza was so filling as I would have loved to have tried every pudding, but a good shout for next time. As well as this, the staff were caring and cool, delivering our every need in a perfect way. The prices were brilliant and I will be making many visits to this establishment in the future. In conclusion, this restaurant is up there with Hell’s Kitchen and various other Michelin star kitchens. I was blown to bits

The food in this place was amazing and there was lots of it too. The service was also exceptionally good with a very friendly waitress.

We visited on a very busy Saturday evening. Service from start to finish was timely, polite and friendly. The food was served hot and again timely. Staff were attentive, happy and relaxed. A really lovely local place to eat.

Went on a Monday night, lovely food, decent wine and a nice desert. The only disappointment was that the garlic bread is a pizza base. Staff are really nice, as is the restaurant. Limited space car park though.

We had our celebratory engagement meal here last night (25.01.25). The service was flawless with 13 starters and 13 mains coming out all together, piping hot. The food was absolutely beautiful, cooked to perfection. Highly recommend this restaurant - a hidden gem!

Make no mistake, if you like continental/Italian themed cuisine then this is the place to go....simple, authentic bangers on a plate....do it!!!!!!!

Very nice place to eat in Brynmawr. One of our party members was Italian and she did enjoy the food. Their Christmas menu looks very nice too. We've been before and we'll be back.

Came here on Tuesday night for a change of scenery, great service beautyfull steak cooked meduim rare, i had polo dolchelate which was amazing with the veg and rosemary pottatoes and sambuca scallops to start the food and price was amazing defintaly be back

Many people don't go to this place because they only have a 3 hygiene rating out of 5 of course. In spite of this I have been several times with my wife in the short time it's been open and have been more than satisfied every time with food and drink and service.

Aptly named, beautiful (well, a very chic place at least) and good (a bit of an understatement). Rare to find such a worthy restaurant located in the north of the valleys. The £8.95 lunch of any pasta or pizza was exceptional value. Usually places say any, except the prawn or salmon dishes. Not so here. They are as good as their word. Credit to them. A good atmosphere with the place half filled on a drizzly Monday lunchtime in half term. The portion size did not skimp because of the price either. The kids pizzas were big enough for an adult lunch! Go and give them your trade. The valleys need such a place.

Hidden Gem 💎 Booked table for a Monday. From the outside the window details hide much of this very tastefully decorated Italian restaurant including a beautiful Italian landscape painting. Calm music playing in the background made for a relaxing atmosphere and enjoyed the ambience 100%. Service was great. Great choices on the menus. The calzone was very large but extremely tasty with a thin dough which made the dish easy to finish with a fresh side salad in a dressing. Loved the taste of the dough even compared to another leading Italian restaurant I favour. Toilets are spotless. Highly recommend and no doubt wi be back ❤️

This is the place if you want to get a sensational meal, if you want to enjoy a good quality italian music and if you want to be very well served. Deserve 7 stars! Always here when me and my granddaughter want an exceptional pizza. ❤️

Our Anniversary over the August bank Holiday and have been wanting to visit this restaurant since it opened. Booking online was easy, with reminders sent near the time of visit. Arrived at 7pm on a Tuesday and surprised how busy it was, so definitely worth booking the table. We were glad it was busy as it's a sign of a good place to eat. The service was excellent, even though it was busy, and we had given our drinks order which arrived quickly. Our food order was taken and we were eating within 15 minutes. The food was delicious. I had a pizza and my hubby had pasta. Dessert was heaven too. I can recommend the lemon cheesecake. We are definitely going again soon to try other dishes. Our only let down was that when you search online for dog friendly restaurants, this one appears. You can take your dog, but you have to sit outside. Guide dogs are allowed. If you can't take dogs inside a restaurant, you shouldn't advertise being dog friendly. Most dog owners would be disappointed if they took their dog and were not allowed inside.

We dined here yesterday and had a good welcome with amazing food. Both main chicken meals were delicious and the service was quick and friendly. The home made cheesecake was the best I’ve ever had. It was scrumptious and a generous portion. The ambiance certainly added to the overall experience. We will visit again.

The venue was welcoming and well presented, the service was good, I had muscles for my starter, but it was very tastless. I had to add extra seasoning. I had seabass for my main meal, but the sauce powered the meal, still nice, but maybe next, i would less sauce.. It's still a very nice place and definitely worth a visit..

This was my first time at this restaurant with my family! We were welcomed by a very friendly professional staff(which unfortunately I can t remember the name,sorry,baby brain here lol). Food was really nice,especially the Fritto misto. Atmosphere was really nice too,very warm with an amazing deco all around that seemed very clean too. Can t wait to go back! Thank you

This is definitely my favourite restaurant in Blaenau Gwent, to be honest it's my favourite restaurant, period. Would definitely recommend this place to absolutely anyone

We just had the worst meal ever here we have eaten here before which was a famtastic meal, however tonight’s meal was an insult to Italian food. I had creamy garlic mushrooms to start herbs were dry herbs and I mean very dry, toasted bread which had barely been toasted. Then I had lasagne which was basically like a bowl of soup with about a 2 inch square of pasta drowning in cheese. My husband’s chicken was very over cooked. Extremely dissapointed we now Ned to decide do we try them Again or not waste our money. Just goes to show how your experience can be so different depending on who is cooking.

Booked in very last minute on a Sunday late afternoon. Food was lovely. Portion sizes are big. The Greek salad was lovely and plentiful. Brought half it home with me and made lunch for work the following day. Service was excellent. Very tentative staff. Can't wait to go back

The food, the staff and the atmosphere is always amazing in Bella. We’ve been a few times and never ever had a bad meal. It’s always fabulous and piping hot, In Fact I had to give mine a minute or two to let it cool so that I could eat it this evening! Panna cotta and tiramisu for dessert- always a winner. We absolutely love it here and will 110% return. Thoroughly recommend

Food was awful. I was served the most pathetic calzone in the history of Italian food. It way basically a bag of air. The pepperoni had all fell in to a clump at the bottom. You had to cut half the calzone to find it. It pretty much has no sauce and no flavor.Friendly server replaced it. I requested an ordinary pepperoni pizza instead. Pizza was 'edible'. Literally on par with a frozen £1 pizza from Iceland. The garlic bread was also horrid. Hard as a cracker and dry. Chips weren't cooked well. Not fluffy inside and a bit chewy. Not worth a quid defintely not 5 quid. Mozzarella balls were bland and so was the sauce they arrived with. The food here is pretty much on par with a bad wetherspoons. 👎. No.wonder it's mostly empty. Avoid. Belle e bad.

Was so pleased to find a great restaurant in the area. They managed to fit us in as a walk in table. The decor is great, it has a really upmarket feel to it and the staff were really friendly. The food was fantastic and service was prompt and friendly. The kids ordered pizzas, which were larger than I expected, but were so good, my normally fussy eaters demolished the lot. I had tagliatelle with chicken and mushrooms and it was delicious. Reasonably priced for the quality of the experience. Was a rainy Tuesday night and the place was filling up by the time we left at 1830, am not surprised. Will be making regular family trips back.

This is my first visit here, staff were polite and friendly. Service was very quick, drinks arrived straight away, then the starter arrived about 3 minutes after it was ordered, and when I had completed my starter my main meal arrived in about 6 minutes. After I ordered my dessert that arrived very promptly also. So well done on promptness. Food was presented well. With what should be hot being hot. Toilets were clean and well presented. With easy access for disabled ones. Although seeing that the area on the site is limited I did notice the ladies toilet door looked narrow. The restaurant has plenty of free parking, and inside the restaurant has a nice clean feel, it did not feel cramped. With music being played in the background I saw others had no issues cheating during their meals. I would highly recommend this restaurant and it’s lovely to have here in Ebbw Vale.
