One of the best in Elgin. Very consistent.

Lovely location, good service and great food. We had bacon rolls, an egg roll, followed by scones & cakes, all were excellent. Will definitely be back on our next visit to the area.

All the sandwiches and the steak pie were excellent. All breads are made fresh daily and the sweets are delicious. Limited seating but we did eat lunch inside.

Local cosy pub worth a visit. Brilliant atmosphere, lovely residents. Thank you for making my evening enjoyable:)

It's good to have a new Indian restaurant in Ayr and this one has the advantage of reasonable prices, large helpings and 'Bring Your Own Bottle'. The food was good quality with a great choice and some regional specialities. Service was pleasant and attentive and the restaurant decor is reasonable. Will visit again.

Great Chinese. Their curry sauce is their best asset. Chicken noodle soup is awesome. Friend rice is so good. I stopped short of giving it a 5 star as sometimes it’s just closed for no obvious reason. Apart from that a top quality Chinese.

Delicious! Lovely to walk along the beautiful beach with an ice cream in hand. There was a queue but it went down quickly. There are potentially too many flavours but we just used that as an excuse to have to visit more than once!

Excellent lunch , came here for the first time yesterday and it certainly won’t be the last, food was fantastic and the service and staff were amazing, this place is spotless, makes our trip to Perth worth looking forward to lunch time ❤️😀

Hula used to be good 5 years ago. Nothing tastes the same anymore. Sriracha tastes like cheap chilli sauce, fresh avocado is replaced with tasteless guacamole and the rest of the filling is just a cold and nasty chicken bites served on a bed of tasteless red cabbage! Do better.

Dined at Achness on a couple of nights whilst staying in the area, an older hotel that has seen finer days but operated by a family who clearly aim to deliver good local produce with first class service. Menu was small but every dish was really well cooked, broccoli & Stilton soup, steak pie, chicken curry and steaks were worthy of highlight. Delivering a quality service in a rural area must be really challenging but Achness do this really well and really worth a detour if you are in the area. Of special note was Veronica who ran the bar, served the tables and generally looked after everything front of house. She is a young lady with a great personality and a real future in hospitality. No hay nada que pueda criticar a Aaron Lodge. Estamos muy contentos de haber encontrado esta "joya" y sin duda no dudaríamos en recomendarla a cualquiera que desee un lugar limpio y cómodo para disfrutar explorando la ciudad. Thoroughly enjoyed an excellent lunch at the Open Arms. We were seated in the library which was very nice. Varied choice on the menu of Scottish fair. Food was well presented and delicious. The staff were very polite and friendly. It is a very traditional and homely place and a bit different for a special occasion.

Arrived without booking, as we were unfamiliar with the area, and although the restaurant itself was full, we were generously offered a table, albeit in the bar area, which we were happy to accept. It would have been quite possible that we might have had slow service, even forgotten, but nothing of the sort; we were promptly seated with menus, our orders taken, and our meals served, all without undue delay by friendly restaurant and bar staff. The food was simple but delicious and perfectly cooked, in generous portions, and all concerned should feel proud of their contributions to such an excellent experience. Bravo!
