Cairngorm Kebab House in Highland

We have takeaway regularly and the food is always exceptional. So reasonably priced for top quality! We had a large family gathering and ordered munchie boxes and children’s meals. Completely exceeded our expectations. Everyone really enjoyed and commented on the quality and freshness of the food. Cannot recommend highly enough! Would not hesitate to order again! Thanks so much.

Food and service is and has always been amazing. Love getting grub here. Tikka chicken naan kebabs are by far my fave menu item. But curries are bang on as well, of course!

We did our annual trip here when on holiday and have been going for the past 5/6 years or so, it never disappoints. Really good quality fresh food from there curries to there kebabs, portion sizes are great as is the service from Naeela / team. I'm looking forward to coming back next year.

Amazing kebabs, I ordered the chicken tikka shish kebab & pirie pirie fries & my partner had the large mixed kebab meal, The wrap was toasted in the tandoori oven just tasted fantastic

very pleased with the food ordered a Donner hoagie and when i say this thing is big i mean it’s BIG and layered with unreal Donner meat and chips highly recommend if you love a good munch.

Highly recommended take away. We had chicken pakora starter and chicken tikka masala with pilau rice and the best garlic nann- super tasty! Very friendly staff and really accommodating for visitors to the area

We ordered two curries and a Peshwari naan. Firstly, nothing but praise for the young assistant. Polite,friendly, respectful, superbly efficient. What a credit to the family! Five stars awarded.The food was piping hot, freshly cooked in a kitchen that looked spotlessly clean.The heat of the curries was excellent, really tasty, superbly cooked. The naan was really tasty, again cooked perfectly. There was a marked difference between the spiced gravy of the different curries showing that each had been prepared in a different style. Five stars awarded for each dish.I can only highly recommend this little take away. It is a jewel in Aviemore if you need great takeaway food.Thankyou.

I had just come back from a long hike, and was recommended this place by the owners of the Eriskay, where I was staying. Very enjoyable, and just what the doctor ordered. There is a full menu, but I went with a chicken tikka nan, and wasn't disappointed (and these things can be highly variable, depending on where you go). This one was very good indeed. Quick, convenient and tasty.

A must try, & a real hidden gem tucked away at the back of a mini-mart. A great Indian takeaway with the food freshly made & not greasy. Authentic & big flavours, we loved everything we had!

Chicken Tikka was Fantastic. Had Lamb Madras , Hot but Authentic and the Lamb was so tender, great portions,,but don't miss out on the Naan , especially the peshwari brilliant , best takeaway for Indian Food I have had for while.

Had a takeaway tonight. Everything very good, just one small comment, I thought only 3 pieces of chicken in the chicken pakora starter, should be 4 pieces. Prices reasonable and food tasted very good. Will definitely return back if in Aviemore

Give the chicken tikka kebab a miss. It is not chicken tikka as you would expect if you have eaten Indian food. Rubbery and bland. Merely covered by some kind of sauce. Yuk

Cairngorm Kebab House was a great find literally 1 min away from where we stayed. It was cold and rainy and the palak paneer, naan and biryani we ordered were super tasty and great for warming us up - just what we needed! Portions are generous - the naan bread especially was crisp and fresh and plenty for 2 people to share. Service was also very friendly and efficient. 5 stars!

Who’d have thought this little takeaway in the back of the local shop would be such a gem?First of all - ignite the only bad review. Who goes to an Indian for a burger anyway...?Bought dinner for 4 of us: 2 rice, 1 chicken tikka Chandini, 1 Achari chicken, garlic naan, peshwari naan, saag aloo and poppadoms.It was AMAZING! Tasty, hot, great value. We loved it!The service was friendly, and the recommendations well received. We will be back!

Excited about another halal place in Aviemore so tried this takeaway. Ordered a number of items including burgers. The beef burger bun was stale, the beef patty seemed to have just been microwaved. No mayo or sause and a sprinkle of salad. The peri peri chicken burger/wrap didn't taste of peri peri but was just grilled and slightly spiced. Overall a very disappointing experience. Speed of service was good though.

Excellent takeaway. We got two large kebabs which were massive. The naan breads are delicious, I suspect they are made fresh to order as they are up there with the best I’ve had.

Perfect amount of food and delicious, what more could I say? It arrived on time and was priced perfectly. Would happily order from here again.

First time trying this place. Had 3 different curries ranging from Korma to Madras. Generous portions, tender chicken pieces and great tasting sauces. The naan breads were massive! Beware the Madras, it is really hot (we were warned). Will be back.

I had a another meal last night.This time I tried Mazedar I think it's called,blooming delicious!!! The Nan bread,rice and popperdoms,I ordered were way too much,Eyes bigger than my belly .They keep getting better and better,well done guys

Lovely people running this Indian kebab at the back of a convenience store. We tried a couple of curry’s which were ok but not outstanding. The large doner kebab was a sight to behold however. It was wrapped with a huge naan bread and was the size of a small child wrapped in a blanket. The filling was 90% kebab meat and to be honest I couldn’t eat it after the first few bites. It was just too much meat with very little respite or change of texture that is provided by the salad that is normally included in a kebab. Needed more sauce too. I think it’s quite a new venture and I’m sure they will get it right eventually and I do hope they make a good go of it.

Popped in here with a few guys while at Thunder in the Glens. Got the chicken tikka burger, piri piri burger, chicken Pakora and garlic naan bread. Food was fresh and very good value. Will definitely visit again next year when we are up.

Good food great company, maybe could do with having a supple more staff so they weren't so busy but great place for food.

This was some great indian food. Spicy and yummi. 4 people shared 1 nan garlic bread, pakora, 1 rice and 3 dishes. And we were really full. Would gladly eat here again. Great take away.

Like everywhere else in Aviemore this place shuts at 9pm but we had excellent curries and the naan breads were great - really well cooked and a little crisp - can’t stand pale floppy naan breads :) these where the size of a wheel - would go back. Staff lovely too.

Very average meals. We all agreed. Over priced for quality. Poppadoms soft. Would not recommend. 50% of meals left and binned.

Left writing review till after third take away visit, just to make sure first one was not just a good day. Have to say all three visits were of the same high standard, little kitchen attached at back of grocer shop, but don't be put of, place is spotlessly clean, food is excellent and tasty, as good if not better than some of the bigger, more expensive ones. Portion sizes are good and staff and owners are such nice people. Put your preconceptions to one side and give this little gem a try, its worth it

We phoned our order in and said we would be there to pick it up in 30 minutes. Unfortunately we still had to wait 10 minutes or so for the order when we got there. We ordered kebabs and a curry. The food was decent enough, but nothing brilliant. Would give it another go if we were in Aviemore.

Had a delicious meal this evening, cairngorm tandoori mix was amazing, highly recommended! We will definitely be back

what a feast! phoned on a saturday night and delivered to the scandinavian village within an hour, munchie box and 2 kebabs, an absolute beanfeast. the 10” munchie box is obscene, could feed a small country. superb customer service, will be ordering again before I leave next Saturday

Just had the best kebab ever.It was the mixed meat wrap. Absolutely deeelicious.Do yourself a favour and try it

We were in a rush and were too late to sit in anywhere in Aviemore so we thought we would just try the new kebab house. We ordered the delicious Shashlik Tandoori - this was amazin' and so tasty but the real star of the show was the Naan Bread - 10/10.

Just what Aviemore was crying out for a Kebab House and the fact that it is an excellent kebab house is a bonus.
