La Balena in Eilean Siar

What a gem of a place! I stopped by for a take away coffee and cake and it was delicious! Also, lovely service. It is worth a visit:

We came across this place as it was recommended on North Harbour restaurant’s Facebook page and boy we were not disappointed! We had the lobster and chorizo bisque and scallops to start- both of which

The coffee was excellent and the photos were very beautiful. Located just off the main road approaching Tarbert so very convenient.

There are very few places to eat in this area and this is a very welcome cafe serving light lunch items in a very well run cafe environment by friendly people. Lovely home made cakes available !

Visited 30/3 has to be the best fish pie I’ve ever had, and the baileys crème brûlée with homemade shortbread just amazing. Food so good.
