La Sandwicherie in Glasgow City

This place and the people who work here are absolutely fantastic. I can't recommend this sandwich bar enough.

My whole family absolutely loved our visit to this super food spot. We tried square sausage morning rolls, Tayto crisps, baguettes and a panini - all were excellent. The prices were reasonable and the service was super friendly and charming. So glad we visited.

Service is nice, nothing special. Food is also good, no issues at all, but nothing special. It's often though that they are out of a lot of stuff.

David went out of his way to do 2 days of lunches for meetings I had in the city at very short notice. Great choice, good presentation and service. He saved my bacon......Will come back anytime.

Easily the best roll shop in the city! Heard good things, and one Saturday morning I was in the area, and was able to visit. Ordered a breakfast roll to eat there and a cheese salad roll to save for later in the day. Along with a coffee, found prices very reasoniable. Staff are really friendly and will be back again for sure in future.

Had time to kill and was recommended a sausage sandwich was good here. So off I went. Served brilliantly with a Glasgow roll and real Glasgow sausage ( flat) . Nearly as good as our Cumberland sausage . Well done for coming close

I started a new job a few months ago, the team all go here for lunch. I've held off writing a review, just to see if the consistency of food quality and service remains at the same standard. I am pleased to say it does!. Everyday you have a wide array of choice. There's freshly made rolls, sandwiches and paninis. In addition to this, there's always a good selection of hot food, from burgers and curries, to burritos and pasta dishes. There are usually three different soups available (with the ever present lentil). I think its all made on the premises, and you can tell there is a pride about the food and the way its presented. The cakes are bought in, but they too are delicious. I recommend the iced fruit slice! Davie, Sean and the rest of the team are always friendly, and if its not super busy, up for some banter. Its not the cheapest, but pound for pound the best value. Nip in for a great lunch, usually under a fiver. Highly recommend the Cullen Skink from today too! Restaurant quality!

The food is very nice however every time i get some form of salad roll, they are very stingey with the salad and they always put the tiniest bit on the roll. I paid £3.10 for a salad roll with a meat filling and for that price i’d expect a decent amount of salad. I understand we are in a cost of living crisis at the moment which is affecting small business like this one but salad is included in the cost of my roll and I should expect a decent amount from it. I’ll continue to go here for my lunch almost every day as I do generally enjoy the food but I’m leaving this review as I believe I won’t be the only one who feels the same about the amount of filling they give you in a roll and is just some feedback I feel they need to hear.

What can I say? This place is the one, forget Gregg's, Pret or Meal Deals. It's baguette and soup for a fiver. Steak pie and trimming for £4.50. Can hands down say this is the best spot in Glasgow for a good quick lunch, eat in or take away. Can't beat old school done right.

This is a great hole-in-the-wall spot for all your deli needs. Quick and easy service by friendly staff. Also helps that the Station Pub is right next store to fulfill your Belhaven Best cravings!

Have got lunch from here a few times. The food is great and prices are pretty fair. Queue can be a little odd but lots of places in the city are similar, just go with the flow. But its all about the food.... perfect

Really great place for lunch. The soup is always delicious and reasonably priced. Can choose from a few hot lunches on (ie pasta or rice based dish), two soups and a full sandwich bar where you can pick your fillings and how you want it ie in a roll or panini. Always a large selection of fresh home made cakes too which are really tasty. Dont usually have to wait to long.

Really fresh tasty sandwiches and snack meals at a good price but their baking is terrible! Dry sponge cake, burnt tiny scones, poorly presented. It looks like they dropped the cake tin!

I had been recommended this gem of a cafe by a work colleague. As it is a five minute walk, from Glasgow Buchanan Street coach station, it was very handy. At 8 o’clock on a bank holiday Monday this place was buzzing with people wanting to eat. There are 4 chairs situated at the window, as it seems to be more of of a sandwich takeaway than a cafe. I joined the queue, and promptly served. I opted for a full breakfast, and tea, priced at £4.95. [price as date 7th May 2018]. The breakfast was promptly brought to me, to which I thoroughly enjoyed, with a piping hot cup of tea. The customer service is excellent from the staff. Excellent value for money. And yes I will be back.

Super full Scottish breakfast. Just around the corner from the Passport Office so perfect for a breakfast or sandwich. Service very good and enjoyed the meal.

Best place! Go there soo often they know what to prep and how I like it, friendly ppl there! Very helpful and their prices are very reasonable and they sell steak Slice (square sausage but steak).

A great friendly place to get a sandwich. The service is excellent. The panini are really tasty with fillings to suit everyone. Service is swift and always with a smile. There's a range of coffees from instant to barista stuff. You really can't go wrong here.

My hubby and I popped by today for a takeaway lunch and we were not disappointed. My hubby had the "chicken salad" bowl which he said was fresh and extremely tasty. He gave it a 10/10, saying the vinaigrette dressing was the nicest he had ever tasted!! I had a cheese and onion toasted baguette, it was delicious. Looking forward to popping by again if in the area!!!

I work across the road from La Sandwicherie so am a frequent customer. From breakfast rolls or lovely freshly baked scones to brilliant soups, sandwiches or hot food for lunch it never disappoints.

This place needs more recognition! 3 different soups on each day, usually a big joint of roast meat on, plus a couple of hot food options and a sandwich counter - made to order. Food has never let me down always so tasty and really reasonable price for City Centre. Staff are great, no messing about and they get you fed pronto! Been using this place for a couple of years very surprised there aren't more positive reviews.

I was in Glasgow on business and this place was nearby. Bacon roll and (proper) coffee in the morning. Went back for lunch and had beef goulash which was excellent with a roll made from scratch. Mainly a takeaway but a few high seats available. Will go back.
