The place is not very clean. The food is delicious and prepared quickly.

Good little spot and cosy feeling to it. Food was nice and the service was great too. I know where to come again if I'm ever there.

I had the best baklava and coffee and a great mood at Cafe Sono tonight. It felt like enjoying coffee, art, and a museum all at once. The staff were very polite and friendly, with excellent service. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting. Thanks to Sono Cafe for such a wonderful experience!

Qué gran estafa, fui aquí el domingo 26 de enero para el desayuno, el total de £ 20 para dos desayunos y dos cafés. Cuando fue a pagar a la señora que dirige el negocio, dijo que el pago no se realizó. Así que toqué de nuevo y ella dijo que eso ya pasó. Después de salir comprobé mi banca en línea y mostró que el pago se había tomado dos veces. Volví directamente y se lo mostré. Estaba un poco nerviosa y dijo que tendrían que devolverme dinero. Después de salir con mi dinero de 20 libras, ella sale corriendo diciendo que el pago de 1 calle 20 libras ha sido rechazado por el banco y no será tomado o reembolsado a mi cuenta. Hace más de una semana que no regresa. Por favor, tenga mucho cuidado.

Awesome place for a lunch! Tasty food, perfect portions, super friendly staff, very affordable prices and cool industrial indoor design. The only thing I would change is music that in my opinion doesn't fit the decor, but that's not a big issue anyway. I recommend! ♡

First time visiting Glasgow and all I have to say is this place is delicious. I got the lamb/beef wrap and my boyfriend got the mix wrap and they were both delicious. Both came with fries and a drink and in total it costed us £18. Staff was super friendly and the meat was really fresh. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who visits Glasgow.

I had the doner mix wrap which comes with fries. Very tasty. The big draw was fresh meat kebabs, not like the processed rubbish most places serve. Very friendly service and a nice relaxed atmosphere.

Been visiting Glasgow for over 25 years yet only today have I tried this cafe. Wonderful decor, very friendly patrons and staff and the good was amazing. The mocha had a great dark chocolate taste and the grilled breakfast was tasty, hot and filling. Great quality produce with a very fair price tag. I will definitely visit again and try the burgers as the ones being served looked devine.

Walking round Glasgow, my wife and i ended up going to Cafe Sono... it was a good choice. I was tempted by the Chicken Kebab as i could see anther table having one of these, but we both ended up having the Scottish Breakfast (even though we had already had breakfast at the hotel)... when in Scotland :) But i didn't have the Tomato (who has a hot tomato) I had the Flat White (i would of liked it a little stronger, but that is just personal preference), and wife had her Tea The atmosphere inside was good, the table was clean, and not sticky as some places are when you sit down. All in all, a nice place to sit down and have your second breakfast of the day.

The worst restaurant to ever exist guys this person tells people he will pay them for good review that’s why he has a lot of good reviews he said he will pay me but he scammed me and I don’t think he actually pays anyone just scams them and I decided to go to it and it was so bad. Disgusting food I would never go there again and the service took obout a whole hour when there was no one in the restaurant and i know why no one was in the restaurant the workers were soo rude to us well I would never go there again and I would reccomend u lot not to go there either

Our first visit to cafesono today 23rd October 24. I had donner kebab platter with salad and chips. It was my first donner kebab platter. It was nice abit too much meats for my liking. My friend had pot of tea only. Otis's sister served us. Lovely clean and bright cafe.

Lovely little cafe under the train tracks. The breakfast was reasonably priced and very tasty. Service was fast and attentive.

The lady working was lovely but the breakfast was awful; cheap sausage, no haggis or black pudding, one mushroom, toast had been waved in the direction of a toaster and not particularly cheap. I love a good greasy spoon cafe but this isnt one. And there were chips on it which I've never had as a breakfast item.

We just had a very tasty meal in an unusual atmosphere, a mixed grill plate was enough for both of us. It was decorated decoratively. The service was impeccable and the price-performance ratio was good. An absolutely recommended location.

Carece de cualquier tipo de carácter en comparación con el café original. Tiene tanta imaginación como sitio de caravana. Si eso es todo, nunca volveré. Tiene más o menos el mismo alma que el yonqui infestado de McD; está en la carretera.

Love the vibe of the small shop. You can sit up stairs at the back and take in the eclectic (Steampunk?) decor. Reubens Grilled Sandwich is good and the bacon and egg rolls are perfect. They now have a larger seating area next door! Had the Grilled Breakfast for £7. Had all the necessary items and would rather give them my money than Weather spoons. The large latte was nice and strong too. 👍❤️😎

Friendly staff. However! When we ordered two mixed platters (consisting of doner, chicken and salad) - we were told it came with chips. Suffice to say after we'd paid, and on querying where the chips were - we were told "chips are extra". Also one of us asked whether we could have garlic sauce (as opposed to chilli). The server said "yes". When we got back to the hotel, there was one chilli wrap and the other was plain without garlic sauce. It was, however, tasty BUT a lot of grease dripping out the bottom of the wraps. Will not return.

Cafe Sono is my favourite Glasgow eaterie. Today, 11th July, I popped in for a mixed kebab, beef & chicken, and an Americano. They have taken over the shop next door as a restaurant area in addition to their normal shop that did takeaways and had limited seating. I really enjoyed the food and the coffee but struggled to finish the kebab. Their Americano is the best in town IMO. If you are visiting for the first time with a friend, could I suggest you share a kabab and buy two coffees. Once you do that, I'm sure you'll be back for more!

Worst restaurant in Glasgow. Bad food, bad service, the employees are angry. The food in the menu not same as it was in plate. Finally, there is no carbonation in the soda.

This was our favourite breakfast spot anytime we were in Glasgow and after a bit of a night before I was looking forward to breakfast, starving wasn't the word. We were greeted by a few familiar faces who were quite happy to usher us into the new sitting area. It's nice, don't get me wrong but it's more generic than the cute, niche atmosphere in the original cafe. The waitress seemed to have difficulties understanding us and a few other customers when it came to ordering. We waited over 20 min just for coffees and at this point there was only 3 other tables of two in. We had both ordered the grilled breakfast and when it did arrive it was so over cooked it was hardly edible. The lorne was burnt and more like a breakpad than breakfast sausage. The chips over cooked and solid, the tomato was just mush along with the solitary mushroom. The egg was solid and the bacon burnt beyond crispy. When asking for orange juice, you're now given a bottle of kids fruit shoot. We did manage the sausage. The cutlery has been changed too, the forks are now square edged and blunt and the food just falls off, making trying to eat what is edible a task. We tried to get the waitresses attention but another table had had their order messed up three times and was trying to pay their bill to leave. The waitress then began huffing and puffing that they wanted to pay by card as it was an effort to get the card machine. The young guy came through and could see our plates and faces but made every effort to avoid eye contact with anyone as even he seemed to be getting it in the neck from the older cooks. We still paid full price for the plates although they were left full. Hopefully it's teething issues with the new sit in bit but I don't think we'll be back as it's expensive way to go when there only one thing edible on the plate. Really disappointing but I do hope the quality comes back as the smaller cafe was excellent.

Tiny shop with great ambience and good food. In the tunnel under the train station there are rotisserie dishes / kebabs. Price performance is excellent. The service too. However, there are only 3 tables. The facility is worth seeing. Recommendation!

Had dinner tonight and all I can say is wow. They prepare their kebab meat fresh every day. Layers of lamb and layers of chicken. Superb salad and the best chips that I have eaten since being in the UK.

Way overpriced for possibly the worst doner meat. You are better going to Lazord around the corner next to Mataln retail store. Much better quality, competitive prices and friendly staff but they take cash only or bank transfers (no card machine)
