The best restaurants in Scotland

Shut down , this establishment no longer exists. Went to Jedbrugh expecting several dining options but really disappointed as most where no longer in business.

Visited today with our two children and this place is really lovely. The service was quick and friendly, the place is very cool inside, lovely decor and the food was amazing, we were surprised by the big portions for the price and had a lovely meal. Thankyou so much!

Another hiddnlen gen. And consistent with the Tarvit Street restaurant. Which is always excellent

Brilliant wee place, great value for money. Everything we have tried has been amazing always piping hot and quick service. Staff are friendly and welcoming really nice.

Nowhere comes close, every bit of food I've had, outstanding, coleslaw........I'd sell my wanes for it...brilliant wee cafe.

Had lunch here - food options were good and including good options for vegetarians. Great there is a dog menu too. Humans and dogs made to feel very welcome here.

Love this wee place, being going for years now. Everything is Great in here! They use quality ingredients Sweet pork chilli noodles are beautiful & spicy Italian Sausage roll is next level.

So sad.. this was our go to cafe 2 years ago.. a beautiful building and a buzzy atmosphere. Always full. Good coffee an array of home bakes (GF, you name it) and lovely lite bites. First day back in the island, we made a bee line but despite the lovely welcome and a good cup of coffee NO food other than a bowl of soup and a doughnut. The place was empty.

We visited with friends and had a fantastic meal. Everything was great, will definitely be back at some point. Some constructive criticism, we had a table in the corner on the left as you go in. And the waitresses who were very effective, but stood directly behind me while waiting for something to do. It was kind of a weird feeling eating a meal with someone directly behind you.
