I have consistently used the Carluke Curry House since it first opened. Based on the competition in Carluke this is by far the best option. Food quality is consistent and you do get what you ask for - for example a vegetable paratha with green chillies, much nicer than a heap of harsh chilli powder. My only slight negative would be the inconsistancy of the ability to order online. if you use the Website or Mealzo you get an automatic 10% discount plus promo codes. Yet this is not offered over the phone. Overall very good and I hope to continue to use you for many years to come.

Went for a meal looked lovely small eating place. Will never be back. Waited 30 minutes for fish chips. Told cooked fresh so thought the wait would be ok. When put down I thought it was a starter 1/2 fish 2 small pieces of lettuce and a cherry tomato cut in half. A wire basket of chips. Fish overcooked couldn't even taste fish. Avoid this place. Even school meals were better. Never be back all I can say is go to fish and chip shop pay less and enjoy Rotten school out if 10 would be 0

I got a delivery of a special fish supper on thursday 11 August which was disgusting. The fish had a very strong Ammonia smell and taste from it. I had to through the full supper in the bin. I could not stomach the chips after the rotten fish. I am usually a very good customer but kinda been put off now.

Ordered food for home delivery. Took an hour to arrive. The food was TERRIBLE. Chicken in both the Korma and Boohna was chewy and inedible, and you could feel how tough it was trying to cut through it with a knife and had to be binned, all the food was cold and they forgot to deliver the drinks we ordered. For an order not much sort of £50 this was unacceptable. We will most definitely not be back. For either sit in or takeaway.

My girlfriend & I got a bottle of coke each, costing £2.15. I got a cheese and onion panini (served with salad, crisps & coleslaw) which cost £6.70 and a portion of chips which cost £2.60. My girlfriend got the Large Breakfast with Tea which cost £6.20. In my opinion, the coleslaw could’ve been nicer but other than that - the food was nice. My girlfriend thoroughly enjoyed her food and she thought it was great value for money. The staff were so friendly from the minute we walked in the door. We were served very quickly and food brought out in a timely manner. There was tomato ketchup, brown sauce and vinegar on the tables - I asked for salad cream or mayonnaise (they had both), but I opted for salad cream and wasn’t charged for this. The cafe takes cash or card, but there is a note to say they prefer cash. I would suggest for them to put a menu on their window for people outside to look at because we had to go in and ask to look at their menu before deciding if we were eating there or not. Overall, we would definitely return.

After positive feedback online and from a few friends, we thought we would try fat burgers as a takeaway treat. So after looking forward to this, imagine our dismay when taking a bite into our delicious looking burger to find that it was still pink on the inside. I'm not even talking edible pink! It was raw. This can make someone seriously ill! Will not use again it has put me off returning!

We stayed at the days Inn at Abington services and whilst we were there thought we'd try out Harry Ramsdens ,not expecting it to be anything special being at the motorway services, how wrong we were ,we had jumbo ( belive me it was huge )fish and chips which was beautifully cooked and amongst the best we've every tasted ,my son had sausage and chips that was always very good indeed and generous portions ,it was extremely good value costing £25 for the 3 meals ,the staff were very pleasant and polite ,the eating area was nice and clean though we choose to eat in the outdoor eating area overlooking the countryside ,we enjoy so much we ate there once again highly recommended

Ordered a special curry with salt & chili chips last night. The curry sauce was hot but the chicken, beef, prawns etc were all cold. I collected the order as it's only 2 minutes away and the temperature of the chicken etc would be what you would expect if you pulled the ingredients out of a fridge and put in in hot curry sauce and left it for a few minutes, luke warm on the outside and cold in the middle surrounded by piping hot sauce. The salt and chili chips were nice, but they were literally just salted chips with a few bits of raw chili, not how salt and chili chips should be and at £4.40 they weren't cheap. i have just moved to the area so have been trying all the local takeaways the last two weeks, ordering the same items at each for comparison. At £10.30 this place was the most expensive with the average price being just over £8. i ordered a special satay a few days earlier just along the road at China Palace, that was so sweet that I had to throw it out, it was like eating sugar. However, i am willing to give it another go, just won't be ordering any satay's again. As for Rainbow House, the fact that they did not get the ingredients of the curry up to temperature, risking potential food poisoning means I would never be back, and because they cannot make salt and chilli chips seals it, Shame.

We came in for a coffee but we were presented with glorified hot milk. My father and I ordered a cappuccino but I've had better instant coffee and my daughters latte was essentially white in colour. None of the drinks had an ounce of coffee flavour despite that being the entire focal point of the shop. Furthermore, the selection of cakes and sweet treats were poor. I got a chocolate orange tray bake which was edible, but lacked in flavour.

I met a friend here as always frequent other coffee spots and forget about this place. Was very busy as schools had just stopped. Nice enough and girl who took order friendly however 80p for splash plant based milk is ridiculous and likely wouldn't go back on this basis. I love coffee but almost £5 for coffee is not for me - no excuse for that price!

This cozy chilled cafe is a great spot to enjoy a bite to eat, coffee and treat. I had the three cheese toastie with chorizo which was perfect and my son enjoyed the kids macaroni cheese. We shared a raspberry and white chocolate cookie after. Nicest coffee I’ve had in a while. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We will be back!!
