Rock Hard Cafe in East Ayrshire

if I want to smell drugs and have rude staff.. here we go and the overwhelming feeling of intimidation from bikers with patches then go here

I visited Rock Diner Kilmarnock, today 28/10/21 WAITED 45mins for 2 burgers meals. Anoher customer who arrived after me were served before me. When asked what the delay was I was told our meals were being was plated. Still we waited. No apology given. When the meal arrived I ordered two more drinks. One was poured and the other was forgotten. To make matters worse, the beer I ordered was OFF and SO was our second choice. This was not the first time I have had to waited in this establishment, But it will certainly be the last. (I thought I would give them a second chance what a mistake.)

Waited nearly 2 hours for a delivery in Kilmarnock. My children were starving and when I phoned the service I got wasn't very pleasant. Basically got told tough. Won't be back again. £60 of our money and even-handed the food arrived some of it was missing or wrong!!!

Food was delicious! I enjoyed the chicken tempura and a side of salt and chilli chips (salt and chilli chips were excellent) My husband and children also enjoyed their meals. The husband was very please with his burger and side of chilli cheese fries. My eldest eat most of her cheese burger and chips which was great! Because usually she only take a few bites out of a burger and then won’t touch it! We will definitely be back! Staff were also very friendly and made you feel very welcome. Great table service too! Highly recommend for a family dinner!

Left a Google review, only came here to post pics of what we were given. To be fair we had been refunded but why would you send this food out as a reflection of your business. *3 and a half hours late *sent out wrong order * actual food was garbage

Love this Pub. Great job from the staff yesterday after being away for a few months. Always a brilliant atmosphere and very relaxed. Enjoyed pints with friends in the beer garden and although busy we never waited long at all for service. Highly recommend if you are looking for a chilled afternoon!

I have been a regular customer here for a few years now but this is the first time I've ordered food through the just eat app and had it delivered to my house, very impressed with the service, the food and the delivery time. Well done Rock Diner and Aces.😊

First of all I ordered a home delivery for my wifes birthday. that arrived at 1720 it was meant to arrive at 1945 as my wife was going out till then. I phoned them to tell them i was'nt happy and was told i would get fresh delivery at 1945 after four phone calls (yes four)i was continually told it was on way. We never received it so had to reheat original order in oven to that end the nachos were soggy and burger was dry. Not happy

We popped in here as it was handy but will make a point of going again..Food was lovely.Well priced for what you were getting and was presented well.Huge portions.

Would not recommend. No beef, no pulled pork, no gammon steak, no steak no fresh meat available... Had to pay £17 for drinks and left to go somewhere else. What does that say about it, the fact you can get 2for1 meals yet its empty. Very disappointing.

This place actively covers up and deletes any post or revew it dislikes from Just Eat. Made an order from judt eat. The Nachos I ordered, the guacamole was covered in mould, the sour cream had separated and turned to jelly, the nachos were stale and cold. The rest of the order was fine, Burger, Chicken Crepes and ice cream. I did phone about the issue, was asked to give my name and no. for a callback and that just eat would also be informed of the issue. None of the above was done. As a result I cannot trust anything this store cooks. A pity as the other items did taste good. I did leave this review on Just eat as well but they deleted it.

We had a Cajun chicken Panini and gammon steak and both were damned tasty! The Panini had decent sized bits of chicken and the gammon steak was similarly well sized. The diner itself was pretty quiet but played good music (rock), had WiFi, and staff were friendly. The cookie dough with Nutella and ice cream was bliss. The only let down was the premix milk shake. Overall it's a place we'll def go back to!

We have been here a few times before and have always enjoyed the food. Today we opted for a mixed grill each. When they arrived I was disappointed in the presentation. The food was piled high on a small round plate. There were fries and a peice each of chicken, steak,and gammon, there were no vegetables or any garnish at all. As I ate some of the cuts of meat,the plate had a layer of meat juice on the bottom.a little offputting.¹
