Just stopped here for a takeaway coffee as on our way home from Scotland. Really friendly and great customer service. The cakes and food all looked really delicious and all the serving staff were just so extremely friendly.
Would recommend to you if you are passing this way.
Greay bar great custemers pool table good and live music on sundays good views good beer bar staff on the ball.love kildonan bar and there punters geo 1 and 2 and ernest and the rest
Pub is very unloved. Amazing views, but surroundings a bit shabby. Our fish and chips were good but came with coleslaw rather than the promised peas. Very noisy drunk table hogging the terrace which I suspect is a regular occurrence.
Very disappointed. We were returning from a trip to Edinburgh through Bigger. The fish & chip shop looked inviting. I have allergies which I can manage really well as long as I can check what ingredients are used in the batter and check if the chips are coatedā¦.I asked the member of staff if I could see the ingredient list to check for allergies, unfortunately she looked confused and blank. I was therefore unable to safely order anything. I was surprised and disappointed that in 2025 they were clearly not up to speed with food allergies.
On arrival we were informed they had NO chicken breasts. A Nandoās with no Chicken breasts that is really bad. So no chicken burgers. If you like chicken thighs you will be fine. Also, order on the app, no real table service. At least you donāt have to tip then. Staff spent more time cleaning than serving us.
Had a very nice lunch - cajun chicken wrap and macaroni cheese. Lovely coffee and service efficient and friendly š.
However, if I may, one gentle suggestion would be to consider tweaking the price of, what I'd call, the premium cakes.
£6.25 for a slice of gateau and £5.65 for a piece of rhubarb tart with cream is, in my opinion, just too much.
Not to take away from the other food and coffee that we had as it was good š but we were a bit shocked when we got the receipt š³
This popular restuarant/wedding venue has suddenly closed down without notice leaving many young couples and others searching for new venues at very short notice.
Pure dive with the rudest staff. Went as a one off out of pure necessity but will never be back. Ordered at the drive through and basically had my drink thrown at me with just "Ā£3.75" sticking a card reader into my face and nothing else. Manners cost absolutely nothing. Terrible place.
The onion Bhaji was soggy and fell apart when you picked it up - we ordered Popadoms with spiced onions but they didnāt pack the spiced onions and we were too far away to return. The curries we had were ok but lacked any flavour punch and this place only takes cash
