l have eaten something very delicious

Ive ordered two chicken noodle soups very little noodles three bits of chicken the beef curry was so hot 🔥 it would blow your head and very little curry sauce I would not recommend it Ive had curry there before but tonight it was not good at all I don't know who the chef is but it's was not worth the money

Always a good takeaway from this Chinese and quick service. Can be busy but you can also have food delivery service but that can take a while at busy times

Ordered a takeaway ..went to pick it up but was cash only...tried 2 autobanks in Kilmaurs..non working..tried to explain to the wee Chinese woman...she just stood there holding the cooked meal shaking her head...if she had given me it saying hand the money in when you can then I would have with a tip Been there maybe 50 times before but this left me feeling like a criminal...won't be back

First time here for a take away. Food was super hot and very good. Peking spare ribs was great. Sweet and sour Hong Kong style great very nice. Will definatly be back as a little more local to us in Knockentieber.

Every takeaway i’ve had from here has been delish! The chef will cook dishes to your own specifications too! Service is always top notch and altho itz always busy you never hv to wait too long! I would defo recommend 👍

So Sat night 5:15pm phoned in an order. Arrived 40 minutes later paid the guy and when we looked at our order it wasn’t what we ordered !! Called them up and they said they would get our correct order out to us ! 7pm and no food has arrived called them up and was told the delivery guy is on his way but has other deliveries to do 😤 You would think under the circumstances our delivery would have been first instead we are still waiting… Would never use this Chinese carry out again !! So update now 7:15pm and the delivery arrived and its wrong 😡So hubby is driving round with the two wrong orders to get a refund. So no dinner for us tonight we are absolutely fuming

It's Really a hit or a miss, the rice is usually dry nd chips are days old the majority of the times we've ordered. Some dishes are lovely but you have to know what to ask for in order to have it fresh, fresh wich is kinda expected with all orders regarding food tbf. Not the best Chinese anymore, did use to be.

Chicken was full of bad bits, basically inedible! Chicken balls, onion rings was full of grease. Was the most bland thing I’ve ever had the curry didn’t taste of anything either, we phoned to complain (5 times) before answer, got told we could get £2 off next order (paid £16) due to it being to busy. Then we got passed onto the owner who then hung up on us! Will never be ordering from here again.

New to Kilmaurs so thought we'd try them as everyone we know loves it. We were not disappointed. Tasty, clean fresh food. Quick, efficient, excellent service. Remarkably good value.

Just had a meal for four - one European dish. All very tasty, especially the chicken, and good value for money. Delivered within 30 mins.

The salt and shredded chilli chicken is really good. The honey chilli chicken too and would recommend the chow mein too

Normally very good, but not this time. Sent the wrong order and the woman on the phone had the nerve to say we ordered what they delivered (considering the dish they delivered isn't on the menu might have gave it away), plus the missing dish was delivered a hour later. Spend your money elsewhere as this mob don't deserve it!. New fun heng from now on..👍

Pure Rank. Chicken satay was like Rubber Chicken Chow mien was dry as Gandis Flip flop. Never again.. 20 quid down the drain The Chicken Noodle soup was edible

Have used this place many times in the past but stopped using as there is a takeaway closer to my home. Thought I would try it again just for a change. Hubby's order was fine and he said very tasty. I had ordered sweet and sour chicken and expected the usual chicken breast pieces in a lovely crispy batter with a separate serving of sauce. What was delivered, however, was sweet and sour chicken Hong Kong style. When I called the takeaway, I was told that it was what I ordered because their sweet and sour chicken was actually Hong Kong style despite the fact that "Hong Kong style" wasn't mentioned! Apparently, it was all my fault because I didn't ask for chicken BALLS! I had to go hungry and I wasted my money. Think I will stick to my usual takeaway because they give you what you ask for!

Ordered from in shop .first impressions shop was grubby looking also man who took order was wearing dirty casual clothes .i took meal home and was disgusted to find 3 hairs in the fried rice.eat here at your own risk .verdict dirty grubby disgusting place

Waited over an hour for food to be delivered - weren't given any indication of how long it would be when we ordered. When food finally arrived it was cold and one of the dishes had meat in it instead of the vegetarian meal I'd ordered. Chips and rice were dry and tasted like they were at least a day old. Won't be wasting money ordering from here again!

Poor phone skills from girl taking orders, did not read order back, instead of tofu in schezuan sauce, got pork when it finally arrived. Worst thing was waited an hour and 10 mins. Had called to ask about delivery, same lass said driver had just left, but never asked who I was / which delivery. Chips and rice were in no way fresh, seemed like they'd been made day before. Never bothered phoning back as terrible phone service and had been waiting so long, were also so so hungry. My veggie partner had to have half of mine. Really poor experience. Really let down. Have used a few times before but will never use again!

Meal was cold - we live 2 minutes drive away - no prawn crackers or soft drink- phoned - she will get in touch with the driver - now eaten the meal and still not delivered!

Woman called teri behind counter was very cheeky and told me i had to wait for her to process my order she had a face on her like thunder i would avoid all cost not a nice person and i felt uncomfy waiting on my Chinese probaly on benifets and working aswell poor customer service

Ordered food for 5.15 to be picked up. I get a call from Oriental Cottage 4.40 asking when I'm picking the food up. I tell them I ordered for 5.15, they say sorry we'll cook again fresh for you. I express concern I hope it's not being kept warm, I am assured it will be fresh. I pick it up at 5.15 and ask again is it fresh. Yes, I'm told. Then you try to over charge me but I know how much it is. I get home to find the food is not fresh at all. Dried up and cold. I rang and asked for refund as it was inedible. Offered another meal but we had our grandchildren sleeping over so was not convenient. Then girl on phone started making up lies so decided wasting my time.

Good quality take away with good variety off food. Cheap aswell

Had the lunch menu 3 course. Was very nice and good choice. Nice environment and staff friendly.

Have had meals usually ok tonight sent wrong meal phoned to complain and rude girl on phone argued with me spoke to me as if I was stupid won't order again !!!

Absolutely disgusting delivery driver said her name was suzeanne very rude and unprofessional. Wouldn't order again in the fear of getting the same delivery driver.

Believe what you read! They have no phone skills what so ever. Ordered one thing and received something completely different because the person on the phone was doing anything but listening to what we were ordering. Food got here and it was wrong, so we call to have them correct it and were told they have over 100 orders in right now and it would get there when it got there, after arguing with us on the phone about it being wrong in the first place. Wont be going back.

Terrible, took almost two hours to be delivered and was cold and to a very low standard, girl on front dest was very rude and clearly could not be bothered. Will be going else where in the future!!

Amazing food, but ridiculous customer service - we waited nearly two hours for our meal to arrive and were still charged full price.

Great food, phone manner was appalling, won't be back until girl on phone has left. Very disappointed.

Very good place to go and the food is great

Phoned here twice and both time it took over 2 hours to get to my address and the food was cold. The girl on the phone answered the phone and told me to hold on for 2 minutes while she was talking to someone else, so when it finally arrived I sent it back coz it took so long. Then the girl phoned my house 3 times to say we should of canceled the order. WON'T BE PHONING HERE AGAIN!!!!

Absolutely atrocious behavior from them. After ordering a meal and it being promised within An hour I asked if it would be. The chap on the phone altered his mind and made it 1 and a quarter hour. It turned up an hour and three quarters. I phoned in between because the price they advised me was not what was on the menu so they over charged me and when I quizzed about it they hung up on me. I phoned back. They hung up on me again. I phoned back and they Hung up on me again. Now I know they have a sophisticated telephone system that identifies the caller and in subsequent calls to them to complain have ignored all 45 of them, presumably as they know it's my number. And my order is missing items and amongst the items delivered even these are wrong. I can't tell them this because they refuse to answer my call. This is not the first problem I've had with this restaurant but I can tell you this it's the last. There customer service sucks. And there food is not much better.........avoid unless you want disappointment and pretty rubbish food. I'd hate anyone else to go through this and end up with a bad taste in their mouth. Look elsewhere

Excellent food at reasonable price. Good fast service. I order from them regularly. 5 stars from me.

For a small village takeaway it's really hard to beat. Never had a bad meal and good value too.
