Where to begin? Poor service, very disappointing and overpriced food, no vegan options, had to ask for drinks, table booked for 7pm and some of our party did not get main course until 9pm. Yes, it was a busy service but since tables have to be booked, management must have known how many covers would be needed and managed staff numbers accordingly. My vegan friend was practically in tears as the one vegan option " hadn't come in yet" - so much for freshly prepared food and chefs who can actually cook. In Stewarton, the Millhouse has pretty much a captive audience as dining options are very limited. Patrons deserve better than this, particularly as there are lots of new families in the town who have experience of city centre eating and know what they should be experiencing at these prices.

The registration to confirm your email and activate your account does not appear to work on mobile. The activation address takes you back to the app only and when you try and login, says use the verification email to activate the account. It hasn't and it doesn't!!

Booked a table for myself snd daughter as a wee treat before going back to work at the Mill House, Stewarton. We were seated at a table next to the entrance. There was a constant draught coming from somewhere so we were both cold for our entire visit. I had my furry coat around my shoulders. No acknowledgement from slim lady who’d seated us. Starters were nice. I ordered fish and chips - chips were hard/crispy - end of a batch maybe? Service was non-existent. No-one checked in on us and our glasses were empty. When asking for bill, pleasant server (red hair) asked if we’d enjoyed meal, but we said it hadn’t been the best, she apologised, but didn’t do anything else. Not impressed (for a second time).

Beautifully decorated restaurants and bars with tasty food and drinks. We are regular customers for over a decade. Our young children love going to Lido or Scott's whether it's for a breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Visited Vine restaurant. Good selection on menus. Food quality was very good and service 1st rate. Limited parking available at rear. Reasonable priced menu.

Food was at best average, service very good, if anything starters out too quickly. Biggest issue was the wine, used to have excellent Chilean White Sauvignon, now shocking, experienced this earlier in week. Ordered a NZ Marlborough Sav Blanc I think called Boundary Hut, was extremely average at £29 a bottle, plenty of really good Marlborough's on the market. Come on guys get your act together again.

While the food was fine - value for money was dreadful. We both ordered steaks which were good quality however the chips were reheats and awful with one portion and the mash was so tiny on the other it was laughable. The only other accompaniment was one mushroom and half a tomato. Considering the cost definitely NOT value for money. We paid nearly £3 for a sauce too! We appreciate during these times it is difficult but no drinks menu re wine was offered and everyone was in such a hurry ☹️

Ordered my uasual meals tonight wasnt happy with 1 of my meals,the beef ,green pepper wasnt good😡 it was too spicy which shouldnt be. Looked liked there was lots of black pepper in it!

Ordered the Mixed Combo. Was a bit disappointed with it. Some of the ribs were missing actual meat, wing was more gristle than meat and it was swimming in sauce. Would have been better with no sauce. Main meals were very good. Very prompt delivery

Anyone know where to get a kebab in less than 2 hours in killie on a Tuesday night? From a place where the manager isn't a lying article that can't admit they forgot your order? Its certainly not going to be from Shah's Palace. 2 hours, 2 hours! 1st hour"You're the next one out"....2nd hour...."I'm just cooking it now". Admit you've made a Gareth of it dont lie. This was a tray of kebab meat and a portion of chips! What an absolute joke. Told them to cancel the order at the end of hour 2, cut to 10mins later....driver turns up at the door. I politely advised him the order was cancelled (not the drivers fault.) I do hope he passed my compliments to the liar in charge. Never again.
