Where to begin? Poor service, very disappointing and overpriced food, no vegan options, had to ask for drinks, table booked for 7pm and some of our party did not get main course until 9pm. Yes, it was a busy service but since tables have to be booked, management must have known how many covers would be needed and managed staff numbers accordingly. My vegan friend was practically in tears as the one vegan option " hadn't come in yet" - so much for freshly prepared food and chefs who can actually cook. In Stewarton, the Millhouse has pretty much a captive audience as dining options are very limited. Patrons deserve better than this, particularly as there are lots of new families in the town who have experience of city centre eating and know what they should be experiencing at these prices.
Got a carryout delivered tonight we shop here once a week no problems ever but tonight my son had pizza lovely I had fish and chips chips were cold and backdated fish was cold I was very disappointed tonight hope it doesn't happen again
Went for a meal looked lovely small eating place. Will never be back. Waited 30 minutes for fish chips. Told cooked fresh so thought the wait would be ok. When put down I thought it was a starter 1/2 fish 2 small pieces of lettuce and a cherry tomato cut in half. A wire basket of chips. Fish overcooked couldn't even taste fish. Avoid this place. Even school meals were better.
Never be back all I can say is go to fish and chip shop pay less and enjoy
Rotten school out if 10 would be 0
I got a delivery of a special fish supper on thursday 11 August which was disgusting. The fish had a very strong Ammonia smell and taste from it. I had to through the full supper in the bin. I could not stomach the chips after the rotten fish. I am usually a very good customer but kinda been put off now.
Visited here for breakfast and ordered all day breakfast with tea included and bacon roll with tea paid for separate. When ordering and then paid, I asked if we could have our teas along with food only to be declined, and hot tea served right away. SO MUCH FOR CUSTOMER CHOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Their feeble excuse was it caused queues??!! So waited around 15 minutes for food albeit our tea was drank or would be stone cold. Possibly tactic for people to buy more tea, but as a customer we should have a choice whither we have hot drinks prior to food or with food. This is also dictatorship, and also there is no table service. Staff were pleasant enough and food ok but sorry won`t be back until they give customers the right to choice.

After positive feedback online and from a few friends, we thought we would try fat burgers as a takeaway treat. So after looking forward to this, imagine our dismay when taking a bite into our delicious looking burger to find that it was still pink on the inside. I'm not even talking edible pink! It was raw. This can make someone seriously ill!
Will not use again it has put me off returning!
We stayed at the days Inn at Abington services and whilst we were there thought we'd try out Harry Ramsdens ,not expecting it to be anything special being at the motorway services, how wrong we were ,we had jumbo ( belive me it was huge )fish and chips which was beautifully cooked and amongst the best we've every tasted ,my son had sausage and chips that was always very good indeed and generous portions ,it was extremely good value costing £25 for the 3 meals ,the staff were very pleasant and polite ,the eating area was nice and clean though we choose to eat in the outdoor eating area overlooking the countryside ,we enjoy so much we ate there once again highly recommended
Popped in for wee nibble, chose chicken and bacon pasta 1 of my favourites and a latte 😋 however no forks!! Staff looked but nothing couldn't eat, didn't get offered alternative!! Had my latte then left poor show 😢

Ordered a special curry with salt & chili chips last night. The curry sauce was hot but the chicken, beef, prawns etc were all cold.
I collected the order as it's only 2 minutes away and the temperature of the chicken etc would be what you would expect if you pulled the ingredients out of a fridge and put in in hot curry sauce and left it for a few minutes, luke warm on the outside and cold in the middle surrounded by piping hot sauce.
The salt and chili chips were nice, but they were literally just salted chips with a few bits of raw chili, not how salt and chili chips should be and at £4.40 they weren't cheap.
i have just moved to the area so have been trying all the local takeaways the last two weeks, ordering the same items at each for comparison.
At £10.30 this place was the most expensive with the average price being just over £8.
i ordered a special satay a few days earlier just along the road at China Palace, that was so sweet that I had to throw it out, it was like eating sugar. However, i am willing to give it another go, just won't be ordering any satay's again.
As for Rainbow House, the fact that they did not get the ingredients of the curry up to temperature, risking potential food poisoning means I would never be back, and because they cannot make salt and chilli chips seals it, Shame.
This cozy chilled cafe is a great spot to enjoy a bite to eat, coffee and treat. I had the three cheese toastie with chorizo which was perfect and my son enjoyed the kids macaroni cheese. We shared a raspberry and white chocolate cookie after. Nicest coffee I’ve had in a while. Staff were friendly and welcoming. We will be back!!
My Work Colleague and I both got the Macaroni & Chips out of here today and it was probably the most disgusting thing we've both tasted since...well...forever.
The chips tasted like reheated Microwave Chips and the Macaroni itself was almost beyond description, like some kind of weird synthetic tasting yellow goo.
Honestly, their Macaroni tastes like an experiment gone horribly wrong and I'm gutted that we wasted £9 and 20 minutes of our lives going to collect cartons of hot crap.
Suffice to say my Work colleagues and I won't be eating from here again.
The food is consistently fantastic for the Sunday carvery. Kids are always kept amused with the soft play area. The staff are fantastic - very personable whilst staying professional. I recommend booking ahead.
Travelled up from Manchester to meet family before the football. They allowed me entry, allowed me to buy drinks then told me I had to find a table or leave… Was then thrown out with no refund for the drink I’d just paid for.
Usually use this as the main meeting place with family and friends pre-match but won’t be back!
