Greggs in South Ayrshire

Popped in for wee nibble, chose chicken and bacon pasta 1 of my favourites and a latte 😋 however no forks!! Staff looked but nothing couldn't eat, didn't get offered alternative!! Had my latte then left poor show 😢

Terrible customer service, mannerism wasn’t nice or pleasant at all. Definitely not what it used to be. I left feeling disappointed and frustrated by the whole experience.

No complaints at the food and drinks... Only issue would be the service which was hap hazard... Issue was customers were being held up because staff were trying to fulfill orders for collection also.

When we go places, we look for a Greggs. You always get friendly staff and plenty of choices of food/snacks at a great price.

Timed it just right and arrived just as they were bringing out the hot sausage rolls and pasties. Great selection to choose from including some new things we hadn't tried before eg sausage, beans and cheese pasty and hot mexican chicken baguette (spicy!!) both were delicious. Finished off of course with the obligatory pink jammy doughnuts and yum yums.

Excellent sausage rolls and pineapple tarts - yum. Also happy to make you up a roll if they do not have something on display that you like

Its Greggs, does what it says on the tin, makes yummy lunches, haven't really found a high street Greggs that I haven't at one point went back to.

i absolutely love greggs. the sausage rolls are my favourite and the staff were patient with my elderly mother. would recommend!

This is a delightful stop for a quick breakfast or lunch, coffee, lattes and cappuccinos plus more for drink. I like their eclairs!

It's a Greggs and I suspect that most readers will know what that means in terms of the food and drink on offer. The Ayr Greggs is unremarkable in that regard.Where it does distinguish itself - in a bad way - is clearing and cleaning tables. On several visits, I have always had to wipe down a mucky table myself on sitting down. In terms of convenience I will probably keep going back, but as Greggs go, this isn't one of my favourites.

Popped in for a tea /coffee. Lad behind the counter was very friendly and helpful . Got 1 tea, 1 coffee and a cake for £3.25---great value and clan area to sit and enjoy. Would go back anytime

Went to Greggs for a quick snack at lunchtime, service quick and very efficient, staff friendly and helpfull, would recommend this place.

Perfect location at the top of Ayr shopping , standard fare but no seating outside and the shop is very small so at lunchtime if its raining you could find yourself standing outside waiting to get served

No muy impresionado por mi visita aquí. El lugar estaba buscando descuidado. Mesa sucia amontonados con vajilla utilizada que ninguno ni siquiera intentaron clara. Un poco más tarde fui testigo de un intento de aclarar, con el miembro femenino del personal lavarse la planta luego tehs come con el mismo pincel. No creo que visite de nuevo.

if u want a snack while shopping this is the place lovely steak bakes and sausage rolls tea coffee or hot choc to take away

Very busy bakers .good assortment of sandwiches,soups and pastries.good choice of cakes and scones.pleasant staff.

Always breakfast here the minute I arrive in town, excellent value and proper tasty, coffee always made right in front of you, breakfast roll of omelette and black pudding second to none, sets you up for the day.

Always very busy because it has delicious fresh food to take away. The steak bake & chicken bake are terrific.

their sausage rolls is second to none but it is only for snacks it is not a restaurant but good to pop in for a sandwish and coffee

Alvays fresh various pastries, sandwiches and hot and cold beverages as standard. Always busy place but staff is excellent, friendly and very quick. Good location in town.

this is exactly what you would expect from a Greggs ... very good value sanwiches, cakes and drinks and helpful staff.
