Mcdonald's Restaurants in South Ayrshire

Was standing in McDonald’s when a customer approached a manager to complain about his order she was soo rude and was mocking the way the boy spoke . He got upset I went outside to check the boy was ok as he seemed a bit high rate and upset .. he was Autistic and had learning disabilities his mum was trying to calm him . I find this absolutely disgusting they also got my order wrong but after what she did to the boy I thought I would just complain to McDonald’s headquarters and so are the boys family ! To lock someone with learning difficulties is beyond me . I will never step foot inside a Ayr mcdonalds again… this was disgusting incident happened on the 20th of may 2025 so it’s very recent … so if you have kids or anyone with learning difficulties the staff think it’s ok to mock them !

Great location and parking. Everything was clean as well as the loos. Food was good, as you would expect. Everyone was friendly and it was obviously a local hub for the neighborhood and local groups. Had a great feel to it.

Food is grossly underwhelming, the mcSpicy should be called McNotSpicy, where is the spice? Had way better tasting mc donald in a caribbean island.

I should have looked at the reviews before buying. If -10 was available I’d have given that. The poorest quality food that you could ever expect. It’s been a while since I’ve been to a McDonald’s but hand on heart this was the worst. It’s no wonder you can’t complain to McDonald’s direct. What a shambles.

Dirty toilets, often out of order, rude and incompetent staff

Regularly don't receive parts of my order. Through monthes. Call customer service doesn't do anything . They just ask to make a refund and that's it.

The last few times been to Ayr at least 1 item missing. Tonight a share box all 4 dips missing. Last time chips missing. Fruit bag missing. Fruitshoot missing. All this and only ordering for 2 people. Sat n watched at least another 6 people when I sat in with missing items. Please get staff to double check orders. Be a shame to stop going. Also seen a woman report 3 young neds shouting at her. Reported to staff member they told another staff member who then got a manager. Who then served someone while the lady was clearly in distress. Then the 3 neds got picked up and the manager walked outside just as they got into a car. Told the lady nobody was there. I stepped in and told the manager what happened. Almost 10 mins from reported to actwent outside. Felt for the woman she was I'd say late 50s. Even inside I was challenged by youths when asked to stop shouting and swearing. Staff tried to stop them running into the back of the shop but the shy smiles approach to move them didn't work as was just laughed at by them. Stop neds just sitting in hanging about in groups. Rant over!!!

Asked for no onions on my burger still got them not pleased at all!

I wanted to surprise my daughter with her favourite breakfast and there were only drinks in it

Probably the worst mcdonalds, if u really have to eat out here and ure desperate then at least check the food is right and also make sure ure full order is there

It's McDonald's, don't expect like the highest reviews but honestly part of my review isn't even the staff, it's the people who come in who really make me feel uncomfortable going in

Went for a quick meal , the food was piping hot all the staff extremely polite and friendly. One lady stood out on the floor service. Janice was so personable so polite and extremely professional, for a fast food restaurant she certainly made it feel like fine dining restaurant. Everywhere was clean no litter not even in the parking area.

this mcdonalds is absolutely horrendous always gets the order wrong nuggets were alright ordered the minecraft meal which was £9 got it just to see there was no toy the whole reason for the minecraft meal is the toy if i wanted chicken nuggets and chips with no toy i wouldve gotten a chicken nugget meal considering i paid an extra £2 for the toy id like to have the toy but no this is daylight robbery i was overwhelmed with a strong sadness when i opened the bag to see no toy it ruined my entire meal which i then couldnt finish because my mood was ruined when i was charged £2 for a toy i didnt recieve i would like to say this was absolutely atrocious never been to a mcdonalds with as many troglodyte workers in my life horrible place

Ignorant night shift employees who heard me chap door and try calling them when i tried to enter about 4.30 am after work and denied entry stating the restaurant wasnt open to customers between 12 - 8am on Saturdays only this was friday night. Wouldnt even let me order at window as i wasnt in vehicle.

Chicken burger rock solid....couldnt even cut it with a knife. Last time we will be ordering. Always something wrong or otems missing

The amount of money I am out of pocket with the staff forgetting things is a joke!! From happy meals, sides and drinks it's utterly shocking. All to be told to order it again. Really need to pull their fingers out and stop and actually read the order slip !!

Fries yet again stone cold couldn’t eat them as they were so cold. No dip for nugget meal either. Nuggets barely had any heat in them as well overall very poor

Food was cold, was a waste of money

I ordered the meal at 20:35 with the time for delivery original being 21:05, it then got pushed back constantly until I received my food 25 minutes later than estimated. I wish I had ordered more food now.

Well I got totally the wrong order ordered through just eat waited for over an hour requested a refund and they can’t get a refund so they robbed me out of me £20

Did not enjoy my meal! I asked for NO CHEESE on both burgers! I also asked for extras for everything else. Notes were not read! Nothing was done and had cheese on both burgers. There hardly any toppings on the burgers. Almost literally no lettuce!! I love a lot of lettuce and toppings on the burgers! The chips were literally cold! And my coke had spilled in the bag a little before I received it! I have made a complaint

Meal was to perfection. However dear, men and woman, you seem to have forgotten my Minecraft Toy. I an sincerely disappointed in the staff for forgetting such a valuable asset to my meal. Just know im upset. CHICKEN JOCKEYYYY

when our food arrived the meals were cold, the mc flurries were warm the ice cream was melting and had run over the order. 80% of order has been binned.

Could not put the lid on the drink ,order was wrong, what I did get was stone cold, disgusting,, feeling like I have just bee robbed of £11 ,

Anemic hash brown absolutely dripping in grease. It's much paler than the picture shows. Picture with napkin touched against it for 2 seconds shows the fat coming off it. Either your fat isn't warm enough or it's just been dipped in fat. Gross.

When I put in the order it said 15-30 minutes and then just kept adding on time and if I’d known it was going to take that long I wouldn’t have went ahead with the order!

Requested salt, no salt arrived …..very dissapointing

food absolutely cold and utterly useless and such an insult for a £5 refund. McDonald's make the food when the order is paced and waiting 50 minutes for a driver. what else do you expect to happen.

Delivery spot on but order was wrong my daughters burger should have been plain but had everything on it.

Food arrived for 2nd time covered in coca cola

Took way past the initial delivery time to actually arrive then once it finally turned up everything was stone cold, we were given wrong items and for about the 20th time no sauce to cover up the rotten taste of stone cold chips

Item missing AGAIN. We have experienced this a few times now

Everything was stone cold. McFlurry fully melted on arrival. Noticed no use of heatbag on delivery. Chips stone cold and cheese already hardened. The worst I have ever had.

Whilst i like the food and most times delivery in time, fot approximately half the time an item is left out or forgotten. Whilst i appreciate a refund offered sometimes I just want the item thats missing and this is not an option to get it without paying another fee for delivery etc

I am hard of hearing, a girl named Amelia was very kind and supportive to my difficulties with hearing, she was very fast and efficient preparing my order and cleaned my table that i was sitting at and called me beautiful even with age!
