Seagate Cafe in North Ayrshire

Visited here for breakfast and ordered all day breakfast with tea included and bacon roll with tea paid for separate. When ordering and then paid, I asked if we could have our teas along with food only to be declined, and hot tea served right away. SO MUCH FOR CUSTOMER CHOICE!!!!!!!!!!!!! Their feeble excuse was it caused queues??!! So waited around 15 minutes for food albeit our tea was drank or would be stone cold. Possibly tactic for people to buy more tea, but as a customer we should have a choice whither we have hot drinks prior to food or with food. This is also dictatorship, and also there is no table service. Staff were pleasant enough and food ok but sorry won`t be back until they give customers the right to choice. Liz and Gordy

Haven't been here for many years but went with sister Oh really nice food 100% from years ago, good memories. Recommended it

Where do I start? Coffee great,but French onion soup,was going to add salt but tasted first,holy god!!! Sally as hell,and I love salt.There was nothing French about it,salty,water. French onion soup is made with onions etc,not salted tap water,and it should have a piece of cheesy bread on top! So clearly it isn't French onion soup! Also got pea and ham soup previously and it was lentil,work that out!!! Everything else fantastic,but soup go Google and look up the recipe,if I didn't like salt,it would've got sent straight back!!! Sorry!

The casino as I call it 2nd to none for food. Staff always friendly and food always on point great prices. All covid cleaning in place too.

This was our first visit for more than 10 years, we used to visit weekly but we thought we would pop in as they were doing eat out to help out offer. The food was very nice and good sized portions and well presented. We had a special breakfast and cheese and tomato toasties with chips and salad. We also got some cakes to takeaway, they sell giant French fancies, Victoria sponge, millionaires shortbread and scones but probably varies day by day. Its had a refurb with tables well spaces out and it's been newly decorated. Highly recommend a visit and well be back soon and not leave it as long next time!

Seagate cafe is a lovely place to eat. The prices are fantastic and the coffee and food are delicious. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. The amusement arcade has a great selection of slots for you to play.

Went in for last minute food.. Really disappointed,, self service.. Poor quality.. Tables wasn't set properly or cleaned... Waited half an hour for chips & cheese... Will not be back!!

We have been coming here to eat for over a year now and eat hear for lunch almost every week, it is busy, which we see is a good sign , we always get our food quickly . great quality food great prices and we feel so comfy here. I get the same thing every week, sweet chilli chicken wrap and chips only cost a couple of pounds and tastes great! The staff are all amazing love this place

When we are in Irvine for shopping ,we always come here for a snack...2 mugs of tea,2 small sandwiches ,1 scone with butter and some shortbread for less than a fiver.. You can`t beat it.. The staff are very friendly and the tiolets are always very clean. You now have to get a key for the toilets from the main desk...

Go here all the time food is great when sitting in, got a carry out of chips and cheese and literally got about 15 chips, very poor potion.

Visit this cafe with my family get the breakfast and always well cooked it's a busy little place you'll have to wait for your order as everything cooked to order

Still cant fault this café---The meal deals are very good and great prices....Only one problem that happened yesterday---I paid contactless and asked for a receipt. The assistant said that I could not get a receipt...I asked why ,---She said that not all contactless transactions give receipts. I said that if other shops did not give receipts for goods ,that you had no proof of purchase and that's not correct...but did not agree with her explanation. I have checked with Barclaycard and below is there response- Should I give the customer a receipt for their Pay Tag transaction? Contactless receipts are optional, and you should provide one if the customer requests one. To print a customer receipt, tear off the merchant copy and press MENU to reprint. If your terminal doesn't give you a receipt option, press the 00 key at the READY prompt*. Make sure you do this before the next transaction. I hope this helps and the management can explain to there staff...

Great portions prices are great especially when you are buying for a family fed 4 for £11 and that was juice tea and coffee. Bit noisey as it is an amusement arcade

The staff are friendly.Cant fault the service or food------We only go in for a snack---cannot comment about the food.. 1 tea,2 small sandwiches 1 scone with butter £2.50----were else can you get that value

Went here yesterday with my family, we ordered 2 breakfasts and a roll, we ordered straight after friends who were at the table beside us, they had received their breakfast and finished it and we still hadnt had ours, 30 mins after ordering. My mum went up to say, we then got the food which was stone cold. This was my first and last time coming here.

Quick in between work lunch was nice but cutlery could be cleaner. Always jam packed. Got coronation chicken way to spicy not without sultanas bit to dry due to little sauce.

very happy wee place the staff is friendly the meals are a good price and if u don't want fancy fancy this is the place to go

food is really good especially the home made lentil soup, and the honeymoon slice is amazing. Free newspapers to read. nice clean wee cafe

Hemos estado yendo a Seagate cada dos semanas durante los últimos 2 años y no me puedo quejar.

Went in for lunch the other day and opted for the all day breakfast. Got a coffee as well, which was nice. Food was great value and kids get a small soup and sandwich for only £2. Place was very busy and I can see why. Staff working hard and very friendly. Had newspapers for customers to read as well and obviously the fruit machines if you're into that sort of thing.

Great paninis, great coffee.very good value for money.love having a wee game of bingo followed by a wee plate of macaroni.
