Uno's in South Ayrshire

If I could give zero stars I would. Ordered at 19:02pm and got a notification from just eat saying there was a delay and it pushed the delivery time back to between 8:20 and 8:40 (we live a 20 min drive from the shop). Called at 8:50 to be told driver left the shop 15 minutes ago and should be about 5 mins away. 20 minutes later still no sign of the driver (trust me we watched every car that pulled in the street like a hawk because we were starving by this point) Called the shop again and the guy in the shop says the driver was at our door and no answer. Lies. Said he would call the driver again, then couple minutes later driver appears, when we asked if he had already knocked he said no, because he hadnt. Asked him to wait because by this point we were not going to be accepting a bag of cold food, only to be told rudely “im too busy, im not waiting about for you to check your food” and off he stomps food was of course cold and the dinner kebab that we asked (and paid) for the sauce to be seperate (because I cant take too much of the sauce on it) was covered in sauce. The chips and cheese were congealed also. The guy in the shop when we phoned back instead of listening properly just kept interrupting with his buts and excuses and no apology. AVOID. 2 hour wait for a meal to be left dissapointed and hungry. UPDATE AT MIDNIGHT: 2 minutes before midnight the owner had the nerve to call my other half and wake us both up to question why we had left a negative review on just eat stating that he has taken no responsibility for the beyond poor service. Absolute joke of an establishment. So not only have we waited hours for food which arrived after who knows how long in a car, had the driver be incredibly rude to us, the food arrive cold and inedible but we have also been rudely woken up by the shop owner phoning and questioning our leaving an honest review so that others dont face the same issue. Unbelievable.

Phoned for delivery at 11:30 and it’s now 1:23, was told at least 2-3 times that the order was on its way and will be about 10 minutes, still no sign of it or a refund, absolute stupid lazy clowns 👍

The place is absolutely filthy Walked in to order a pizza for takeaway. The place is evidently not cleaned and stinks of grease. Cross contamination on display in the fridges as you walk in. Fridges also ancient and clearly not up to use, walked out and left the pizza I paid for to avoid the inevitable dodgy stomach. Filthy place and will be contacting the food standard agency

Chicken pakora AVOID really small portion and I was over charged went in to complain and got nowhere Disgusting place won't be back

Low quality, meat is dry and tastes old. Everything from the fryer tastes like old oil.

Seriously worry about the hygiene of this place 😅 yes I'm aware it's new owners, unfortunately they've made it worse based on the type of clientele they have working in their kitchen, don't ask why, just wouldn't risk it if I wanted to spare myself from some sort of food borne disease, would love to get in there with a UV light and see what filth is hiding 😁😁😁 worrying thing is I'd probs be able to see without 🤣🤦‍♀️

Ever since the new owner place has gone downhill very fast, clean standards and food are shocking. Wouldn't recommend

Couldn’t tell you about the food they cancelled the order moments before all other restaurants shut. Avoid this place at all costs or you will have a debit waiting to be reinstated to your account

Delicious food made quickly, the garlic bread pizza is amazing and well... Just go try them out. A great wee place to get some tasty food.

Always serves with a smile. I recommend any of the pizza with a bbq base , and look out for the ferro roche milkshake!

Had pizza. One bite and that was enough. Just tasted weird and awful and didnt smell too great either. How can you ruin a simple margerita pizza? Total waste of money. In the bin. Honestly Ayr must have some of the worst takeaways in the whole of Scotland.

Very happy, the guy has been very friendly on multiple occasions. He has been good to us and we love him. Literally the best place in Ayr. No doubt.

Chanced my luck and phoned 5 mins before closing and still accepted my order. Food was banging, staff was very friendly even offering to get us ice cream from mcdonalds when they had none. will defo be ordering again

One of the best meals my wife and I have had for a long time it was delicious.

Food was dried up/reheated, very little was edible

I paid £17 for this pish and 2 plain burgers . Freezing Cold rubbery and tasteless place is pure stinking 👍

Ordered a takeaway last night - Chips Cheese Donner Meat (No option givne on deliveroo for chilli sauce) and two Chicken Tikka Tandoori meals. This was not nice. The Meat was so salty we threw the meals away. Chips and cheese were barely edible but thy had fallen through the container due to the hot fat/oil. Do not recommend.

I did get my takeaway last night I call at ten two one 8n morning did show up

Had the meal for two. Self collect, it was ready on time. Delicious and plenty of it. Great value. I 'll be back.

The kebab from here was disgusting, it didn't taste anything like a kebab and the chilli sauce was vile, it was too sweet and tomato puree based and there was no chopped chilli. We will not be returning to this place. My dinner ended up in the bucket.

Phoned up to get a delivery to dalrymple guy on phone very helpful and delivery was rapid food tastes amazing and there's loads in a munchie box will highly recommend been to the shop aswell and there's no difference polite helpfully and very clean also very cheap will be using unos as my new weekly takeaway 😀 👍

Fantastic takeway, came back from work exhausted and stumbled upon this place and met this very charming and welcoming owner, clearly a very hard working gentleman told me about his life and his goals. Quickly became my favourite place to have good food that's all freshly made and very tasty. The munchie boxes are to die for. Wish you all the luck in the world and definitely will be back to speak with you again.

Ordered spicy chicken pizza, came frozen to the point the cheese was solid. No sauces either. Very disappointed.

Nice clean shop, friendly staff and the food is always fresh, warm a s tasty.

Don't usually write a lot of takeaway reviews but we were really impressed with the food we had from here last night. The chicken tikka wrap was amazing, as was the hoaggie. The only criticism was that my son's pizza was slightly overcooked but he ate it all anyway so didn't seem to mind.

Wouldn't say the best one in town sometimes the meat is very dry but that's not that often

First time going and food was well worth money and the portions could feed an army..i ordered a regular grill box and it was enough for 4 great value for money and would definitely recommend

Just ordered chips and cheese, even asked them to cook them for longer than normal. Instead I get a box of half cooked chips. Managed to find about 15 that were edible. Will not be ordering from them again.

Food took over an hour and by time got to me food was inedible as the fish had been wrapped in tin foil as was soggy due to this and pizza was undercooked and stuck to box with grease when Foned for refund woman was no help and now have to go into shop next day to get a refund ( if a get one)

Never had a problem since Shan took over, the foods worth the money & the staff know their stuff.
