Thoroughly enjoyed fish and chips and burger and chips with a beer and a glass on wine. Very friendly and helpful staff. Ate outside overlooking the harbour on the sunniest evening of the year so far, fabulous!

Fast service, good, tasty meals, nice atmosphere. Bruschettas as entrees are rather odd, as the original ones are on small pieces of toast, while the restaurant serves one big slice of bread.
Went for a lunchtime meal. The food was exceptional. My son said they were the best chips and macaroni cheese ever! I enjoyed a chicken burger with a delicious relish. Lovely staff and service too. Will definitely be back again x
Sadly, when we got here it has been closed permanently. We really enjoyed our many meals here. It always seemed busy and the food was so different, varied and tasty. I hope that some other good restaurant will open here.
I visited The Horseshoe Inn with my family for a meal only, so could not comment about the rooms, apart from the restaurant and toilet.
After hearing and reading positive comments I have to admit that my own visit was rather a big disappointment. Most of the waiting staff were nice and the location was okay, and that's all when it comes to positives.
However, going to restaurants is mainly about food, and this aspect was very poor at The Horseshoe Inn. My partner's venison shank seemed to be badly cooked, because it was very chewy. My battered fish was extremely oily, while chips added to my children's and my own meal appeared to be soggy and tasted of nothing else but oil. Only my son's burger was edible.
Overall dinning experience I would describe as poor, and I am pretty sure that I would not be back to Horseshoe Inn in the future.

Have visited here a few times and the food is always delicious and very reasonably priced. Restaurant is very nicely decorated and very clean. Lovely staff.
Enjoyed a fantastic lunch, in the cosy welcoming atmosphere at Francos, when it was wet and blowing a Gale outside!
Great food and hospitality. We’ll definitely be back!
Had a great time and a great meal the staff were very friendly and helpful and a very nice atmosphere the view from the restaurant all over Eyemouth is stunning
So glad we found The Caddy Mann to have dinner on the last day of our holiday in The Borders - what a great find ! Delish food ! The game pudding is so tasty and hubby enjoyed his steak which was a good size and cooked nicely. The staff were friendly , and although the surroundings aren't luxurious , the most important thing for us is the food - and it's excellent !! Thank you Ross and team !
Stayed in the village for a few days and this was the only option within walking distance for an evening meal, and very good it was too.
We booked for two nights, one night was quiet and another was full - and this was midweek in early March so I think that says a lot.
Excellent friendly service from coming in the door, the menu was mainly basic pub grub but there was a very good selection and it wasn't overly expensive. The food was excellent and there was plenty of it. We only decided not to have dinner on the other two nights of our stay as we were still a bit stuffed from our previous feeds!
As the only pub in the village they are certainly not resting on their laurels and when we revisit we will be making bookings again.
Currently sitting here now .. service is brilliant young girl is lovely and helpful...food is absolutely lovely here is defo recommend here...not here staying so can't comment on rooms or hotel part ..all staff are really friendly aswell x
Visited recently during the week and although really busy the food and service were outstanding. My partner is from Edinburgh and couldn’t believe how reasonable it was for the quality of food we were served. She can’t wait to go back. Fab u Lous
