We stumbled upon this little gem when in Peebles. The lady serving us was so friendly, down to earth and so chatty, helping us pick from the menu as we were so indecisive about the great choices! She also advised on the cakes as well and didn’t it disappoint. The carrot cake was superb, the best we have ever tasted and the size was huge! We were in heaven.
Thank you for our lovely food. Make sure you visit dellas if ever in Peebles, you won’t be disappointed
Staff are always very friendly and welcoming. The lady even gave our dog some ham - which our dog devoured in 3 gulps! Excellent food. A massive selection of baguettes, sandwiches and salads. All very tasty. Very very good value for money there’s a lot of filling in the baguettes and the salad is big. Yummy selection of cakes and tray bakes including gluten free options. The chocolate brownie is to die for! Will definitely be back :) thank you!
We popped in for lunch but sadly wasn’t a great experience. We were sat down at a dog friendly table but the waitress didn’t give us any menus so we had to go find some, once sat for a while the waitresses were back and forward to other tables and kept looking at us but still no one came. We ended up just leaving and went to another cafe instead which was lovely with great customer service and welcoming. The other thing that let this place down was when we left and handed our menus back the lady just gave us a dirty look and said “alright”.
Called in for lunch whilst visiting Peebles. Lovely cafe where we had a delicious homemade soup and sandwich.
Our little Poodle was made welcome too.
Thank you.
Not what you expect from the outside, as like someone’s front room.
Pleasantly surprised, on entering, and the menu being offered.
All reasonably priced, well presented, and value for money. Pancakes a must.
Great little antique shop too
The 'Fechan diner in tucked away off the M74 and is primarily a cafe for truck drivers, however they'll accommodate anyone. My wife, lad and I frequently stop here en-route from Scotland- England for some scran and a drink. Always clean with pleasant staff and a damn site cheaper than MSAs.
Went for a lunch and very nice indeed. Decided on scampi and food came quickly and very generous portions and reasonably priced. Only downside was room was a bit smokey from the kitchen but will definitely be back.
Lovely coffee, lovely sandwiches, lovely service, but £6 for a small bagel and cream cheese? Bit pricey. And I'd give the cakes a miss. Still like it and will go back.
Used it often however lately the quantity and quality has lowered.
Play a game of I wonder if there is any chicken in the curry. If you do find some it's usually four small pieces they way you are supposed to think you got lots....aye continue treat customers that way and it is you that will lose business.
Sadly that is the theme in Lanark and Carluke, low quality and Quantity take aways
