Popped in for a Sunday Dinner. Was not disappointed! Great food, lovely atmosphere, attentive staff. Loved the decorative autumn touches and pleased to see a spotlessly clean bathroom. Had a beef dinner and enjoyed every mouthful! Could have eaten a whole plateful of the sweet chilli parsnips! Will be recommending.

We stopped here on our way home to Scotland. We had a sunday roast dinner. It was superb. We stop here every time we come back from England.

Best blackened Cod dish my wife has ever had and the beef Sunday roast was superb. Very pleasant young staff. Keep up the good work.

The perfect bistro serving coffee and fruity pancakes on a Sunday, right when I needed them. And so many vegetarian treats! Really great and I plan to go there constantly. 😋

Our first visit and little gem of a place too. We arrived on Saturday lunchtime, about 13:00 and it was very busy, although we did manage to get a table. The menu was extensive and the staff were friendly and attentive. The quality of food was excellent and service rapid. The prices were very competitive. We will definitely be back ☺️

Full gluten free menu with many options from full breakfasts including GF tattie scones and haggis. Toasties, paninis, wraps and pancakes. Freshly made. The pancake platter was absolutely delicious 😋

You know when you've found the right place when you want everyone else's meal, then you taste your own and everything else disappears! A black pudding salad! Apparently, it's not popular! How? It comes in large crumbled chunks spread over a bed of various leaves, with juicy chunks of Stilton, slices of apple, baby tomatoes, and dressing. I was greedy and had a bowl of chips with it. Soooo crispy and tasty! My wife and oldest daughter had mac'n'cheese, which they loved - very cheesy! My youngest girl had mushroom soup which was also well received. Very impressed. And the service was professional, warm and friendly. Thank you all!

Lovely bistro in the centre of Lockerbie. We had the roast beef Sunday lunch. Wow. One of the nicest Sunday lunches I’ve had in years. Large portions might not suit everyone but I really enjoyed it . Excellent staff were polite and chatty. I’d certainly go there again.

First visit here today. Delicious Sunday roast. We will be back.x

Full Scottish breakfast excellent, staff very efficient got tables moved to let everyone sit together.

I ordered a full ham salad with two poached eggs on top with honey mayo dressing and a black coffee and a slice of blueberry and lime cake, Out off all the places I have been to this week for lunch it's the best for food ,

I had Caesar Salad and my hubby had the special which loved. The staff were very pleasant and professional. We had coffee/ tea and cake to follow, all in all a good experience.

We met here for a very late Sunday lunch. Food was delicious, including the raspberry and Prosecco posset. Coffee excellent too. The staff left us to relax after our meal and we only realised that they were closed after someone who came in for a coffee was told they were closed!

Stopped in for a bite of lunch, luckily arrived just before they stopped serving food. Cozy little spot. Large menu, and assortment of cakes and tray bakes. The coffee was also delicious. Will certainly stop in again if I am ever in the area.

Lovely meal at Just Be Bistro last night. Food and cocktails were lovely and staff were great. Good to now have somewhere like this in the town for an evening meal.

We took our mums for an evening meal for a Mothers day treat snd what a treat it was . Food was delicious ! The mums had the small plates and main menu was on offer too which I had the most delicious chicken noodle stir fry , it really was the best bowl of noodles that I have had . The passion fruit panacotta dessert was amazing too , ending it off with a yummy cocktail . Service was fab too as well as the food . It’s great that Lockerbie has a place to go and enjoy a delicious meal in the evening. Thank you Just Be , we had 2 very happy mums 😊

A lovely cafe with a warm welcome and great selection of coffees and food. Wonderful specials on offer (I loved the fish cakes) as well as a great selection of tasty cakes. Highly recommended!

Called in on a rainy Sunday afternoon, nice cozy atmosphere, a good choice on the menu and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I had a toasted sandwich and it was delicious. I'll happily recommend a visit.

Travelling south we couldn't face a motorway service station so we called into Lockerbie. We passed Just Be, called in but the menu had nothing vegetarian or vegan. Fortunately my wife spotted in the corner of the menu that they had a separate vegan/vegetarian menu. The choice, food and service were excellent. One of the best cafes we have been to and certainly worth a couple of extra miles to come off the motorway.

We had our office Christmas party here. Good communication on the run up to the date. Ample choices everyone was catered for Staff on the day cheery and helpful, food was perfectly portioned and tasted amazing.

Been many times, sorry but the service is very very slow although pleasant.

Shame it was the turning on of the lights as the menu was only soup and sandwich. Saying that, the soup was was home made, served well and staff very pleasant. I will be going back that is for sure.

We visited Just Be last year and really enjoyed it. We visited this time for breakfast and coffee and cake. The Full Scottish and Eggs Benedict were amazing. The cakes are delicious, it was a struggle to pick only one. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. A fantastic stop-off.

I had an unplanned visit to the cafe. What a very friendly place. Latte was just right. Had a Haggis roll it was yum and the carrot cake was the best I have had. Pleased I popped in. Highly recommend it.

Usually use the Bistro at least once a week. Great place just for a coffee or a nice neal. Quite often have a specials board with something different on it. Staff, food and drinks are great. Lower area is wheelchair accessible

Asked for the gf menu and it was very very similar to the none gf one...I had a breakfast that had everything on it as a normal brekky had but gf holy cow it was amazing

We might have a new favourite Scottish cafe. The coffee is fruity and tasty. The menu is good with all day breakfasts and lunch options including homemade soup. The cafe is comfortable and welcoming.

Food was lovely staff really nice but was on the noisy side . But really nice.

We had the best Scottish breakfast of all the places we visited on a trip around Scotland. The coffee was very smooth and creamy too and overall very reasonably priced. Will be recommending this place to anyone on their way to or from Scotland.

The breakfast was OK, don't arrive until 9 am as they do not let you in. I would describe it as a middle of the road place for breakfast.

I didn’t see the sign that said to wait to be seated so found a table and sat for a while before I realised my mistake. After that I quickly got served. The food was well worth the wait. The Eggs Benedict was cooked to perfection, the ingredients on the Caesar salad were extremely fresh. The cheesecake was the best by far that I have had for years. Thank you

Nice cafe in centre of Lockerbie. Busy at lunchtime, and seemed to attract a fair number of tourists. Great variety of lunch items including sandwiches, soups and salads. Also had alternative milks for coffees.

Fantastic food and a friendly atmosphere. We popped in for brunch, the Eggs Benedict were perfectly cooked with a delicious hollandaise. The Pancake Platter has two huge pancakes with sweet and savoury toppings. Just Be also serves the best coffee in Lockerbie.

This was a great find - looking for somewhere just off the motorway as we had a long drive. I had a posh fish finger sandwich and my wife had a small scottish. Despite the fact we were both stuffed, we went for dessert. The cakes are even bigger than the mains! Will be back at a later date as it's only an hour away from home.

Lovely little layout. Perfect for catching up with friends. I had a hot roll, along with a coffee, both were lovely. Service was great. Would recommend to most.

Very disappointing experience. It seems the service depends on whether the young staff know you or not. Despite being in before other customers, they were served before me because the staff knew them and when I asked if I could place my order it still wasn't taken and I was told they would be back. Needless to say with that kind of service I didn't wait and just left without sampling anything

Absolutely lovely food, with a great selection,for both my daughter and myself. Great value and one of the best flat whites I've ever had.

Been before a few times and had good experience but this time was a bit of a let down. Got a pot of tea for two and never got asked if needed sugar so had to go ask and got only 3 sachets for a whole pot of tea. Breakfast came and never got offered sauce so again had to ask for it. My cup had a big chip in it and bacon was solid 😞

Great place to stop and eat if you are visiting Lockerbie. Had a vegan breakfast which was lovely. Staff were attentive and helpful. Had multiple milk options and vegan cake available. Will definitely be popping in again when I'm next this way.
