The 'Fechan diner in tucked away off the M74 and is primarily a cafe for truck drivers, however they'll accommodate anyone. My wife, lad and I frequently stop here en-route from Scotland- England for some scran and a drink. Always clean with pleasant staff and a damn site cheaper than MSAs.

The choice on the menu is not vast but there is a specials board also, there is sufficient choice to suit anyone's taste.. Food is tasty and piping hot.

Visited this place on Saturday 28th December. Absolutely disgusted with management. Poor young lady behind the bar was run off her feet doing everything and I mean everything! Far too much work for 1 member of staff. Tables were full of plates and glasses all over the bar. The poor waitress didn't get a minute to breathe and other customers commented on how overworked she was. She deserves a medal! Won't be returning for this reason and I suggest you start treating your staff better before you lose them! Waitress deserved 5+ stars

Really enjoyable night! Creative menu and really tasty food. Had the opportunity to taste starters, mains, sides, lots of desserts and numerous cocktails all made from scratch and delicious. Fantastic service and chat! Thank you for taking the time to chat with us. It's so nice to see a family run restaurant as there's not many independents around anymore. Your attitude and friendly approach is refreshing. Will see you again some time. Thanks again and lovely to meet you! X

This cafe served the worst scone I have ever had / didn't have. (and that's saying something as I'm in my 70s and have had a few in my time. You could build a house with a few of them. Inedible expensive rubbish. It came in a paper bag, no plate and a wooden disposable knife which struggled to cut it. The coffee was served in a paper cup. But was drinkable. Cost over £13 for two coffees and two inedible scones. I am disgusted and will definitely won't be back

Visited the Frothy this morning for the first & very last time as the cafe is closing. Whilst the cafe was comfortable the coffee wasn’t the best ever tasted and we were stunned at the price! Compared to other coffee houses close by it was surprising; could this be a reason they are not finding it profitable?

Friendly, relaxed, flexible and fun. Nick was a brilliant teacher and good company. Took Mother for some quality time together and she was immediately put at ease and we both had a lovely time. Will definitely go again. If you want quality experiences with friends and family AND you want to learn some great life skills to boot then book your place!
