Della's in Scottish Borders

We stumbled upon this little gem when in Peebles. The lady serving us was so friendly, down to earth and so chatty, helping us pick from the menu as we were so indecisive about the great choices! She also advised on the cakes as well and didn’t it disappoint. The carrot cake was superb, the best we have ever tasted and the size was huge! We were in heaven. Thank you for our lovely food. Make sure you visit dellas if ever in Peebles, you won’t be disappointed

We ordered a buffet of sandwiches, sausage rolls and traybakes for a small office event (party of 8). Food was delivered on time in eco friendly packaging. Sandwiches were fresh and tasty and Della's sausage rolls are to die for. Tray bakes were huge and very moreish. Wouldn't hesitate to use again and would definitely recommend.

We had a great family lunch. Plenty to choose from and my coronation chicken panini was filling and tasty. Nice coffee in a compostible cup which I liked. Staff were friendly. Great value for money. I’d happily eat from here again.

When I wished to make payment by card I was unable to see the amount entered by the shop assistant. The card machine was placed on a counter that was at eye level too high for me to see and positioned facing the assistant. The assistant walked away and I was not told when to put my card on the machine. I was not shown the amount entered into the machine. When I spoke to the Manager about this she did not apologise not did she she me the amount on the screen. I suspect this may be illegal. Customers are expected to put milk into their own drinks from a small bottle with a screw top lid. I did not feel this was particularly Covid secure although hand Sanitiser was available

On our day trip to Peebles, we found this little cafe for our lunch. They have a good selection of sandwich fillings in their extensive menu. We got a chicken tikka baguette and a cheese savoury baguette. They were huge and filled to the brim. They certainly didn’t skimp on the fillings! They tasted totally amazing and were great value for money!! Highly recommended!!! Their caramel shortcake was delicious too and very reasonably priced. They had seating outside but we took our food away to eat in the park. We will definitely be back!! Just wish I’d taken photos of the baguettes before munching most of them!

Rolls and baguettes well filled and fresh ingredients, Carrot cake to die for - best ever ever ever, might not be as elegant as some, although it looks good but my goodness it is amazing. They do some hot food too but haven't tried it. Friendly service - also covid friendly(?) too or maybe anti-covid compliant is a better way to put it Just about to go again!

The carrot cake here is incredible, so moist and the icing is delicious too. Been far too many times during lockdown but cannot bring myself to stop!

just had a burger chips onion rings Vegan burger rollo cheesecake from Dellas it was honestly just amazing and we will be ordering again very soon we can’t recommend Dellas enough!! 5 star for sure!!

Stopped to pick up take away coffee and cakes, firstly what lovely staff. My daughter said this was to best lotus biscoff cheesecake she had ever tasted! Nice bean to cup coffee, highly recommend.

This is one of those lovely independent cafes which does everything well. I've stopped three times, each time for a bacon roll and an espresso. The rolls are generous and tasty and their espresso is definitely the nicest blend of coffee I've had on the High Street. Seating is 2 tables indoors and I think from memory 3 outdoors. But if there isn't a seat they do takeaway and there are plenty of lovely spots nearby to stop and eat or drink.

Popped in here for a drink and snack. Lovely food with friendly service :) prices were very reasonable too

Della who owns this place is so helpful and always smiling and welcomes everyone. Food is amazing and go a couple days a week for a panini. Katie

Service at Della’s is friendly and efficient. Excellently cooked tasty breakfast rolls served speedily along with excellent coffee.

Popped in for lunch just out of lockdown. I had fan=b macaroni cheese and hubby had the pulled pork burger. Nice tasty food sat outside where there were 3 tables set up.

Enjoyed the jacket pots here that were very filling and nice flavours. Della was very welcoming in such hard times and made me knowledgeable about rubber gloves! Will defo visit again.

Really great food and amazing service, would recommend to anyone whether a local or just visiting, I come here all the time with my mates.

Wonderful wee place on Peebles High street.. where all the food is home made . They serve soups.. a variety of different sausage rolls...burgers...home baking.. .The Mac and Cheese is the best I've ever tasted! Great service as well.

Just dropped in for a roll and when for the BLT and very good it was to all fresh ingredients and the bacon cooked there and then. Lovely

I've been in for bacon rolls and excellent coffee and had my first sit down breakfast today. Really good and an excellent price. Much better quality and service than spoons and supporting a local business too. I'll be back for lunch next, can't wait :-)

Visited Della's cafe for the third time since it's been reopened, I was impressed with it from the word go! I go in for a latte and then stay and have my lunch, I have their home made soup, every soup I've had so far...
