Dropped in for lunch after a slightly soggy cycle from Edinburgh. The stove was on, we received a very warm welcome and were made to feel at home. A hot water bottle was promptly given to one of our group who was a bit chilly (a first for us, and incredibly kind). The food was 10/10 (the falafel and halloumi wraps), coffee and hot chocolate were delicious and prices were very reasonable. 10/10 for the lovely canine customers, too. Not a bad dog in sight…!

As ever , packed inside. Managed to get a table for 2 . I had the Veggie Burrito ( delicious) and my Dad had the Special Porridge ( pictured ) ,l had lovely Cappuccino. Parking close is not easy. Recommended. The Ice cream at ' Caldwell's ' just 30 yards away is high quality.

Came here for Sunday brunch. Fabulous warm service. Exceptional coffee and wonderful wraps. Breakfast burrito with vege haggis, eggs, spinach n cheese and a bean burrito. Highly recommended.

Busy but we did get a table. It's not their fault that they are busy on a Saturday afternoon. Excellent friendly service. Very nice atmosphere. The owner supplied a hot water for someone sitting outside. NOW THAT IS SERVICE.

I recommend the falafel wrap which is very delicious. As a reference, the picture only shows half the portion, since I already ate some before taking it. The coffee shop is relatively small, it might be difficult to find seating for groups. They also have some outdoor seating and offer blankets for their guests. The coffee shop is also dog friendly: they allow dogs inside and offer a water bowl for them.

Great little cafe, very popular with cyclists. The food is good (vegetarian) and the coffee is excellent. The cafe is always busy but people move on fairly quickly. The waffles are a highlight. Also the fully loaded porridge!

Really nice place! Went there to meet friends on the way somewhere else, so had no particular expectations, but was sufficiently pleasantly surprised to want to go there again! Most of the food consists of wraps ("Syrian flatbread"). I had a burrito, my friends had a falafel and something else and all three were delicious. The coffee was good too.

Best coffee in the boarders and great food to fuel active working or mountain biking day

The cafe is very small so there isn’t much chance of getting a seat inside therefore you need to sit at the tables outside. These tables are often full with extra people at each and are in the middle of a busy pavement. This makes it very difficult for people passing with prams or other dogs. They often have to go right round almost onto the road and in some cases onto the road. As it is on the corner people come round it with their dog not knowing there is a dog right around the corner. This pavement was extended by the council for safety reasons as the junction there was very difficult to get out of due to oncoming traffic and it was difficult to see what was coming hence the pavement extension. Now the cafe have made use of this “safety extension” by using it as their own personal outdoor seating area which has now made a dangerous junction even worse. It is impossible to see what traffic is coming down Peebles Road due to hoards of people outside the cafe making the councils work pointless. It is a pavement not a space for No 1’s personal outdoor seating area.

The most delicious hot chocolate I've ever had!

World class coffee, and vegetarian food. Menu designed to fuel mountain bikers large portions and good value. Dogs welcome. Reccomended the breakfast wrap with veg haggis , scrambled eggs and freshly baked toasted scones. Sustainably run - you clear your own tables, but also get free self serve tap (tastes good) water.

An amazing cafe we visited while in the area, Even when very busy the vegetarian food was fast appearing and so tasty. Best food tasted for years. Shame not open more days. Cannot recommend more.

Triffic scoff - just right for lunch during a day's cycling. Pity sitting outside was on the main road (too sunny to be inside when we visited) 😀

We visited here off the back of a reccomendation and were not disappointed. Independent (as are most businesses on this road!) and welcoming, cute and cosy. Great service, great menu options and the food was divine. Good offering of food with many options to suit dietary requirements. Veggie and Vegan options with plenty offerings. Common allergens clearly stated on the menu - something for everyone. The service was great and the atmosphere within was very pleasant. Really nice design and decor and lots of little trinkets but not full of clutter. Coffee was delicious, as was the hot chocolate and the burritos. Price was more than reasonable too. Definitely recommended.

A favourite local coffee spot. Espresso is to die for and Haloumi wraps even more so.

The highlight of our visit to Innerleithen, coffee and breakfast burrito are nothing short of perfect and very substantial. The ladies working on Sunday morning were both friendly, the music and decoration was the perfect vibe. If passing, then don't pass here, you'll regret it

This place is totally EPIC. Too many places do vegan badly, this place doesn't it does it brilliantly. More places like this please!

Such a lovely place, the food was amazing and we are out outside in the sunshine.

Vegie bar. Friendly staff. A wee dog was centre of attention and many were disappointed when it left. Only place in Innerleithen that I could see was open for breakfast. Omelette was nice and filling. Baked goods looked good.

Fab biking rest stop with an excellent flapjack. You have to have the halloumi wrap though! 👌

Lively busy little coffee shop geared for the cyclists who love it. The flat whites taste a bit strange but the latte's are super. The wrap was spot on! Can be a bit cramped. Defo one for a take away and do pop in. Tip: don't queue on the right as that's the toilet queue.

If you want delicious food and coffee this is the place to stop! Went through on a cycle trip, it has places to lock up on the side. Staff were very friendly, the food was reasonably priced and delicious. Had the breakfast wrap, would recommend!

We had a very nice Banana and Blueberry cake with our excellent coffees. Service was friendly and our dog was welcome. We’ll be back

After a long morning of working outside in freezing temperatures we popped in for a coffee. Unfortunately it was a Monday and the shop was actually closed however the super friendly owner invited us in a preferred 4 brilliant coffees to take away with a smile.

We visited with a family and their breakfast menu is quite nice and had nice selection of coffees, pancakes, omlettes, burrittos, gets quiet busy but food location and staff were amazing. We would surely visit this place if we around. Also ask them for "No2" 😉

Lovely Cafe! Breakfast is the best, and on Sunday, there were giving mould wine or apple hot drinks. Dog friendly, cyclist friendly, they have seating outside too. Really warm welcome and superb service.

Highly recommend for food and atmosphere. Little coffe place embedded in the community (you can see a board where locals brainstormed ideas for upcoming social events). Very tasty and heathy food we had the goat cheese and the halloumi wraps and we recommend both but the halloumi one was our favourite. Nice coffee in recycled trendy cups (on sale there). Loved the decor and the feeling that this is a special and authentic place frequented by locals.

Pop in here for coffee once a month when I'm in Innerleithen. Also been having food recently too - very tasty - porridge fully loaded with fruit and nuts, breakfast burrito, cheese and onion omelette. Coffee lovely too. (oh, and cakes) Nice atmosphere - can be busy but doesn't feel crowded. Always a dog or two coming in.

After getting up in the dark and rain and driving over three hours up to Innerleithen to go biking yesterday it was a genuine joy to be welcomed into this cafe for coffee and cake. Very friendly staff. Lovely vibe. Definitely bike friendly. Hope to come visit again soon!

Friendly and busy local café with good range of 'healthy' foods, many cooked to order. We had delicious soup and the halloumi wrap ( eat with knife and fork - too messy with fingers!) Both quite spicy. The cheese scone was good . Evidently the place for easy chats, young children and dogs . Didn't try the coffee.

I had the pleasure of having a coffee and their fully loaded omelette yesterday with my son. We shared it over 2 plates which they had no problem doing for us. OMG that was the best omelette I have ever had. My lad and I were gobsmacked. Perfect and the red chutney topping as a side dish. Icing on the cake! Wow.

Lovely cafe, perfect for coffee before cycling to Edinburgh (day 4 of Sustrans Coast and Castles route). We had a cheese and blueberry scone, both lovely. The wraps we took away were foil wrapped and still warm in Middleton, where we stopped for lunch. Very generous ingredients, bean wrap and falafel wrap. Enjoyed immensely. Thank you

Spent a few days on a walking holiday and came across this quirky cafe. Super friendly staff served the best blueberry & lemon toasted scone ever. A huge scone packed with blueberries - delicious! Only wish they were based near to where we live.

Very good coffee and excellent food. I love the Norwegian way of cleaning up after yourself which should be adopted in every cafe.

TASTY SMOOTHIE. I had a freshly made banana and mango smoothie which was delicious. My friends have a breakfast wrap which looked incredible. Said friends also confirmed it was incredible.

vegetarian food as it should be, packed full of flavour and absolutely delicious. Friendly staff, good music and conveniently located. I will be coming back here next time I'm in town.

First time here but it won’t be the last!!! I had a cappuccino which was perfect and the fully loaded porridge which was just delicious. Great portion and so much topping. The owners/staff were really warm and friendly and the cafe had a great atmosphere.

Stopped for coffee and a scone when out on a bike ride in the area. Both were top quality and service was great. Def recommend.

The food was good and the staff was super friendly. The price is not high considering the size of the portion. And they are animal friendly.

Popped in after a cycle. The cafe was really busy. We ordered coffee and New York Deli wraps. The coffee was delicious and the wraps were unbelievably good. Fantastic soft bread, spicy and tasty mustard and great pickles. Well worth a 50mile ride. The service was superb with huge smiles all round and lots of craic. We will be back.

Nice tasting coffee, but luke warm & very small paper cup, chocolate brownie looked lovely, but too sickly sweet for me & I couldn't finish it.

Finding really good quality coffee is often not easy once you leave the big cities. But, this isn't the case in Innerleithen thanks to No1. Just he sure to grab a wonderful slice of cake to with it. Brilliant.

Great food and coffee (I highly recommend the halloumi wrap) with GF options available. Polite staff, pleasant atmosphere and quick service - I'll definitely be back!
