What a great little coffee shop. We took our dog Hector and it was super to find a dog friendly coffee shop. The staff were friendly and helpful, giving us directions. The service was really quick and the place felt warm and inviting. We are really super fussy about our coffee and although it was served hot, it was not to our taste. I dont know if it had 1 shot or 2 but it was quite watery and lacked flavour. Perhaps it was just the coffee blend that was served that day.....We will be back though and look forward to sampling other coffee blends.

I would say as a coffee house it's amazing. The food is great for what it is; there isn't much of a food selection but I guess that's down to the size of the place. Real asset to the town. While you can sit outside, the proprietors have created a lovely interior making for a relaxed atmosphere and a great place to meet others. Your hosts are sincerely welcoming, friendly, accomodating, knowledgeable and skilful in preparing your coffee. Nice range of coffees in various formats; you can of course get other drinks, as well as some tasty food! One of my favourite spots in town. Best coffee in the Borders in my opinion. The staff are very knowledgeable, really friendly and very good at what they do. Having attempted pulling a perfect espresso shot and latte art myself, it really gives you an appreciation for how talented the staff are. There is always a good selection of cakes and light lunches and I always feel relaxed the opportunities I get to sit in. They are very accommodating for alternative diets too which, while I don't require myself, is a nice touch for those with allergies/intolerances or vegan/vegetarian/etc. An absolute must-visit if you're in the area!

It is becoming a bit of a tradition for me to visit here when I travel down to visit my family. The Covid-19 guidelines were well followed and safety measures implemented, including distancing and face masks worn by the staff. There was a limited amount of tables but this was as a result of the guidelines. The staff were friendly but a bit reluctant to speak to us when we were stood about waiting. We left and came back and thankfully a table freed up for us. It was far too hot inside - we were sweating just sitting down and we had to take a layer off the little ones. The previous aside, our food was delicious - there was a good selection of 'Open Sandwiches' and 'Toasted Sandwiches'. My 'Latte' was well made and thoroughly enjoyed. My Brother-In-Law paid and he made use of the Government scheme, reducing the bill to just £16.00 for the three of us.

This was my first visit to this cafe. After hearing numerous positive reviews, I had set high expectations. I wasn't disappointed.Situated along the High Street in Selkirk (opposite Tower Street and nearby 'The Deli'), this unique building had an interior that boasted character and trendiness. It might have been small in size but it packed a punch with it's personality. An absolute triumph. The staff were attentive and helpful throughout. The menu suited us with it's good amount of Vegetarian options - quite pleasing to be honest. I opted for the 'Houmous, Rocket & Sundried Tomato Sandwich' (oozing with depth and flavour), which was accompanied by 'Crisps' and a 'Side Salad' (both tasty and more than just extras thrown on the plate). The 'Coffee' was the star of the show - a 'Guatemalan Roast' which I thought was tremendous. As hot drinks go, this was definitely one of the best I've ever sampled. I ordered a second and it was always going to be the right decision!Based on cost, locality and quality, I genuinely think this is one of the best cafes to line the streets of Selkirk in many a year. As a Souter born and bred who visits the town regularly, I love supporting local businesses - especially when they live up to the hype! I hope this place survives the nationwide pandemic so that I can go back again!
